5 stars because I love Dollar General. This location is way too small for a Dollar General. It has an inadequate stock room which is why cases of merchandise block aisles and endcaps. This makes the total store look bad, but it is at no fault to the employees...they have no choice. Since the building is so small, they have to cram everything in, which creates narrow aisles, again, no fault to the staff. This isn't my go-to DG store, but I am in there often. The current remodel did nothing to help staff run the store, but just to give it a slightly standard look of other stores. This store needs to relocate quickly. It is not on par with Dollar General Standards...give the community what Dollar General really stands for, and what it is about!

Cashier was completely rude, with additude like that doesn't need to be working with the public. Had to walk out before I said something couldn't take back..never in my life has anything like this happened..if older lady with glasses is working be prepared to have your feeling hurt to the younger generation..😁

The store manager Joyce is unbearable. She needs to be fired. Running customers out of the store with accusations of stealing or talking to them like they are below her. Follows her employees when they are not at work and always questions them. She makes this store horrible. Do something DG Corporate

Worst attitude of the week award goes to what I believe is the manager. Older lady had to fix a price and thought she was going to bite my head off completely. The regular cashier, however, was one of the nicest ladies you could ever meet!

The store manager Joyce needs fired. She followed me around the store like I was trying to steal from there. I had decided to put back some items I had picked out to buy because I found something else I wanted to buy. Keep in mind I only had $7 dollars on me because I left I debit card at home. After paying for my one item, in front on multiple other customers she accused me of stealing the things I had put back. After showing her where ALL the items I put back was she demanded I wait at the front of the store because she called the cop on me for shoplifting!! She took a picture of my license plate while I was waiting in line to pay for my item. When I refused to do as she said she grabbed my friends arm that was with me trying to force her to stay in the store. After leaving I was pulled over by the cops she called. They searched me all my belongings, of course found nothing because I never stole ANYTHING. The cop apologized to me for all the trouble and waste of time. I will NEVER shop there again. Not only does Joyce need fired but they also have the walk ways so cluttered you can hardly get through, which I’m pretty sure is a safety issue. I DO NOT recommend shopping here. You’ll be wrongfully accused of stealing. Not to mention how rude and unprofessional the manager is.

Not a nice place to shop. Poor lighting, disorganized isles, inhospitable staff, and questionable clientele. At least they were open though! Probably shouldn't be open😵‍💫

The older short haired manager is very rude most of the time. She followed me around several different times and I noticed she does this alot to others as well. My niece wont go in there because the lady embarrassed her accused her of trying to steal, but she didn't nor did she have anything on her.

The manager tom is absolutely amazing. Toma always takes time to answer any questions no matter how crazy they might be. Everyone i have ever came into contact with has always gone above and beyond helping me. Especially larry another manager. Love love love this store. Customer service has always surpassed my expectation. Its a pleasure to shop there.

Horrible! Aisles are ALWAYS blocked with heavy racks, but the manager (small woman, empty smile) is the biggest problem: she maintains a hostile work and shopping environment. She openly rants to employees about other employees, and even insults customers in the store.At a clearance event a few months ago, I found a speaker for an excellent price in Franklin, and stopped in Whiteland to see if another was available. This manager actually removed the speaker from my cart and placed it back on the shelf, insisting it was NOT part of the sale. After finally checking the price and realizing it WAS marked down, she proceeded to rant against the company, saying she had scanned all those items the night before so she could put them aside for employees to purchase, and that the company had obviously changed the price that day to “screw” the employees. It was an embarrassing and uncomfortable situation, and that unprofessional, hostile attitude continues.She called clearance shoppers and people using digital coupons “penny pinchers” and made it clear she didn’t want “those people” in her store. Dollar General hosts clearance events and offer digital coupons, so why should customers be shamed for utilizing those things? Especially by store employees!The last straw came when I needed to make a quick stop to get a replacement sippy cup for my grandson:Heavy supply racks were everywhere, as usual, so I had to hold him while I shopped, because I couldn’t get a store cart down the aisles. When I attempted to move a rack to get to the products I needed, this same manager told me I wasn’t allowed to touch those racks (citing safety, as though blocking aisles and exits wasn’t a safety issue) and said she would get someone to move it for me “but it might be a while. We’re really busy right now.”Other shoppers looked on in shock at the rudeness and I left - AFTER snapping the pics below, which represents what you will have to deal with on any given day in this store.It’s a horrible, hostile place, and the only reason anyone goes in there is because it’s the only discount store in the area.

If i could give this store no stars I would. The manager Joyce is so mean and cocky, I had to call corprate on her because she hung up me 2 different times. then when i came in the store today I asked her what color was the dot today (for half off or discounts) because they didnt have a sign up and she acted as if she didnt know what i was talking about, she is so rude. The store is so crowded you cant even push a cart through there, they dont organize, they dont stock, or put things away out of their boxes. This store is disgusting with rude people working there. It shows if you dont like your job, just take a look at the store!! Im so suprised that store is still even open! I see more bad reviews than good!

We were able to find a couple the f things we were looking. Unfortunately we were surprised to see carts of products blocking multiple aisles, and some cases making it impossible to pass through.

It would be nice to push a cart through the aisles and at end caps. Shelves are half empty. Lighting needs updated, there are many areas that you can't see because of no lighting. Hope a fire doesn't happen couldn't get out of store. Parking is a problem when emplyees are parking in customer parking. Lot needs work.

I absolutely hate going to this location. This particular dollar general is way to small. They allways have merchandise that is waiting to be put on shelves stacked everywhere in practically every isle making it difficult to get to what you need. The employees so far crazy people that chatter to much while your waiting in line wanting to get your stuff and get the hell out of there. I sometime go there as it is within walking distance, but if I have the extra time and gas I go elsewhere.

This isn't really about the Dolkar Tree store but I do want to say thank you to this particular Dollar Tree store for having this person as a employee , this is about their best cashier at this store and the best one I have came across out of every store I been too and believe me I been to alot of stores ! I shop at this Dollar Tree all the time because of this young lady ! I only like to go in when the their best cashier there is working this young lady name is Tanya , she has been working there awhile now , she is so nice polite , she will go out of her way to help any customer , she always has a smile on her face and greets every customer coming in the store and going threw her line , Every time I have ever been in the store she is working , u never see her just standing around , she's always busy doing something , she always gives everyone a smile and always will ask how are you doing today , She should be the store manager you would think she was the way she handles things ! I love her out going attitude , she's what keeps me coming back to that particular store , you can tell she likes and enjoys her job , she can talk , ring up things , bag your things and keep her line going all at the same time , If the store loses her they are really losing the best worker that store has had in a long time , I wish more cashiers had her great attitude and smile on their face , she's the best , the most friendlest cashier I have came across !! Thanks Tanya for all great work you do for the customer's and I , keep up your good work and no matter what keep that smile and great attitude you have ! I love seeing you when I come in the store threw your line every time cause you can always make me laugh and put a smile on my face , you always make my day better ! I always go threw your line , I always will and I will keep shopping at this Dollar Tree as long as you are working there ! If you read this and have shopped at this store then you know who I'm speaking about , if you haven't shopped at this Dollar Tree store then go shop there make sure Tanya is working that day and you will see exactly who I'm referring to and what I'm saying is so true !!

I love the Dollar General, just not this one. It is always cluttered up, hard to get around to stuff you are looking for. The workers always seem to be in a foul mood & complaining about something (I get it but don't talk to loud that customers hear you). Parking lot is terrible as well. Big pots holes. Rather go to the Kroger & pay double for a product than to go here again.

always find what I'm looking forExcept none of the Dollar General stores that I've been to in the past 6 months which l've gone to several over 20, and none of them have the Clover Valley Tomato Juice. Did they stop making it?The stores may even show "in stock" on the app and l drive all the way there but they don't have any at all.Is this item discontinued?

This store is absolutely horrible. The store is beyond a hazard for everyone, isle's and so cluttered with merchandise you can't even push a cart. The store manager Joyce needs to be terminated, she followed me around the store as if I were a criminal, she then accused me of stealing earbuds because I changed my mind and put them back in a different place. She refused to give me my merchandise AFTER I paid for it until I showed her what was in my purse. Humiliated, angry, I left the store and called corporate who is working with me to solve this matter. Beware before you enter this store.

Hate this store but it is all we have here in Whiteland. This place is a fire, health and safety hazard. I have NEVER seen it clean and organized in there and I have lived in Whiteland for 46 years. Aisles are always blocked and there is always boxes and items everywhere. If I could give a 0 star rating I would. Other smaller towns have much nicer Dollar Generals. This store gives Dollar General a bad name.

I like Dollar General. However it is,hard to get through the aisles due to they are,always stocking. A downside is this store doesn't have a bathroom or at least it says it doesn't! So hope you don't have an emergency situation while you are shopping.

I love this place. They have just about a little bit of everything. From clothes, to cat or dog food, to toys, drinks, food for when you forget something like on Christmas or Thanksgiving. It's all around a nice place to save money. They also do a sale on certain items each day so you get them for even less money.

Every cashier here is so rude not 1 time I have gone here and not got into something with the employees and the manager encourages most of it along with following people very obviously in the whole store and accuse people of being a thief and that's not ok it's defamatory and embarrassing! I need a member form corporate or someone who is over the store manger here please and thank you!

Joyce was so mean to this old lady at the store. This old lady bought her stuff and Joyce kicked her out of the store because Joyce thought the poor old lady was stealing. Joyce also follows me around the store and makes me feel very uncomfortable. This lady should get fired.

This store has to many racks blocking the isles making it hard to work. There are always new people and the manager is a rude person. This place seems to be going down hill fast. I used to shop here alot but no so much anymore.

Don't spend more than 10 minutes in this store. The lady in charge of the store will follow you around like you're a criminal. I mean why would anyone want to actually look around a store, right?
