Store is disgusting. It’s ALWAYS a mess. Workers are the laziest people I’ve ever met. Every time I go into this store (which is frequently only because the distance is convenient) there is NEVER someone on the register and self checkout only. There will be a line wrapping around aisles for the ONE self checkout they have and the worker will act like they don’t even see it nor jump on their register to help out. I know it’s only a dollar general, but pls do better or give the job to someone else who needs it who will.

This store is ALWAYS ALWAYS a mess , the employees are the rudest people I’ve ever known to work at a store, constantly have to look for them for checking out and then they have a attitude about doing their jobs , one in specific he literally looks at you and basically tells you to use the self check out WHEN ITS ALWAYS BROKE this place is a absolute joke

The people that work there are always busy and overworked. I feel kind of sorry for them but sometimes it’s hard to get someone to work the check out so you stand around waiting most of the time. Plus it can be hard to get down the aisles because there’s so much stuff in the way all the time

Employees smoking right out front while customers are lined up waiting to check out! Rest room not working and has been out for a long time. When asked about it said call corporate. I asked for the number she says I don't know and scuffs. Not impressed at all with this location. My question is where do the employees go to the bathroom?

This place is NASTY!! Can barely walk through the aisles due to boxes of product on the floor. One cashier running register. She looked like she hadn't bathed in a week, then shot me a dirty look when I counted the change given to me. She didn't count it back to me or even say what the amount was then threw the receipt in the bag and handed it to me. Shelves were sloppy. Store cramped. I won't be coming back here for sure. 🤢🤢🤢

So we were traveling though here and stopped to go to the bathroom and get drinks...my husband needed to go so he politely waited in line to ask to use the bathroom due to a sign on it saying it was not open for public use of which it wasn't. So he asked for cooperates number and she said they didn't have one. So I was in line after he left and they told the lady in front of me how rude he was and grumpy and old. So much for stopping here again. No name tags on them either.

I am sorry but this store was disgusting!!!!!!!!!! There really is no reason for there to be carts and carts of merchandise sitting in almost every isle to put stock out. You couldn't walk down one isle without it being a total mess. I seen one employee at the register and had asked to use the restroom. Was told they were out of order because they were on a temporary pump. Sorry I didn't buy your LIE!!!!!!!!!!!! EVERYONE OF THESE employees need fired. There is absolutely no reason for this store to be looking like it did. I really think that a district manager should make a visit to this store today!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was able to buy exactly what I wanted at a reasonably competitive price. Location of this store is convenient and the two employees were awesome and obliging as well as busy without complaining or talking loudly. Infact, they seemed to both care for each others well-being and for the store! I had a great visit. Ty. J.P.

This location is an absolute joke. The store is always a wreak. The isles are always crowded with carts no TV put away. The day managers are always on a cigarette break or standing around talking to each other. They are rude and litterly carry on there gossip conversations even while they are checking out customers. Very disappointed with the Westville Dollar General

Not only are some of the staff unfriendly, but when you are trying to shop and say "excuse me " while staff stocking shelves they ignore you. Even make eye contact, they still ignore you. Then when you cash out, dont offer a you receipt, I ask for one printer doesnt work, is their response, very rude about it. Wouldn't even take my change on a cash purchase.

Lots of freezers, all half-empty. Shelves full, little organization. Junk all over. This place is very poorly manned. Needs a good manager badly. Aisles too narrow for carts to pass. Prices ok, parking easy, carts work.

I come to this place often for quick pickup items. If you live in Westville this is pretty much your only option to quickly get anything without having to go to Valpo or Michigan City. The women I have interacted with here are always helpful, the other day there was a gentleman at the counter and a male "manager", they were awful. I asked for an item to be removed and the guy said nothing and left the counter, his manager came back with him except he walked back to the office and out the front door. I had to ask what we were waiting for he said oh the manager needs his keys, the manager just past the counter went to the office and out the door. Sorry but that was terrible, you dont leave a customer at the counter and then pass the customer to go outside. Customer service from those two gentlemen were awful. I hope another store opens in Westville where this isn't the only option anymore.

The Best store in. Westville and everyone is super friendly! Shelly the Manager is always willing to help find you what you need! Nicole is always amazing when I check out or if I can't find something. Love the store and the people!!!!!!!!!

They will be closed June 10- June 14th for remodeling..They are expanding groceries and frozen food section..Yeah!! Alot of things are 50% off right now..You need to walk up and down the aisle to see. I went just for taco sauce and $32 later..I got more!! Lol!! Who can pass up 50% off

We need people that work at dollar general that knows what there r doing cuz New people don't know how to use coupons new people don't ask if u have a $5.00 discount don't even know how to use ur $5.00 discount or anything thin else that's why many people stop going to buy stuff there I personally go when the managers are there for people that you know they're being there for a while

Been to one and there all about the small dirty unorganized, stuff arrange messy and some places I think unsafe! And the cashier person!!!! Wow it was a nightmare getting checked out! Hmm poor training??? or unqualified employee to do the Job??

Recently renovated and there there is a wide selection oh, great and convenient for quick stops if you only need a few items. However not a replacement for a large grocery store obviously

I went to the dollar store to buy a grater and the sign says 10 percent off but I asked the cashier about it but said it rang up 2.75 which is regular price. This is at the Westville indiana location. Another time at the laporte indiana monroe street location all clothing was 1/2 off in the flyer. I get to the register with the clothing and they rang up full price and she acted like it wasn't on sale. I ended up with getting half off but what a shopping experience. I could do without it.
