I would not suggest that you board your dog here, especially if you believe in service recovery. I boarded my two dogs with Dawg Paradise a couple of weeks ago. While in their care, another dog at the facility attacked one of my dogs. I was not informed of the attack until after my dogs were dropped back off to me a week later. The owner stated that she didn't want to ruin my vacation. While I can appreciate that, these are my babies, and I have a right to know and demand to know if any harm befalls them. After the attack, my dog was given a bath but never taken to the vet. The reasoning for this was that the attack happened at six in the evening, and the only vet open was the emergency clinic, which would have been too expensive. Instead, the owner gave my dog leftover medication from her dogs. Again, I am not heartless and can appreciate the effort put forth. However, upon seeing my vet after my dogs were returned to me, they stated unknown medications should never be given to dogs as one never knows if they might have an adverse reaction due to underlying conditions. They also stated that my dog should have been taken to a vet immediately since they were in the care of Dawg Paradise. Moving on, it was reported to my husband and me that the only wound sustained was at the base of my dog's neck, which was a small puncture approximately 1/8" - 1/4" in size and a cut similar to a paper cut on his ear. When I came home to see my dogs after they were delivered back to me, I felt several large lumps on my dog's neck. I was told that the Dawg Paradise groomer stated these were wounds from my dog scratching himself. The vet firmly denied this and stated they were definitely bite wounds. When I showed pictures to the owner, she said, "Oh, we didn't see those." My question is, "How could you miss them?" Another issue was that they allowed me to pay over the phone in full and did not tell me about the incident. When I asked about this, the owner stated that the employee who took my payment did not know about the incident. "How?" Dawg Paradise is not very large, and you were treating wounds for a week. If that is the case, there is horrible communication there. In light of all of this, I asked for my injured dog's stay to be refunded, which the owner refused to do. She stated that if I decided to take my dog to the vet, she would apply the amount of the vet bill to a future stay. Why on earth would I want to take my dogs back there? I did take my dog to the vet, who, given the circumstances did not charge me. I brought this to the owner's attention, and she still refuses to compensate me in any way, stating, ..."I understand that it was an unfortunate occurrence, but we did take care of Jake, and you didn't have to spend any additional money on vet bills." The owner has stated she is open to discussing things further if I meet her in person. However, at this point, if I have to jump through hoops, I don't see the point. I do not believe that I am an unreasonable person and don't believe I am asking for anything unreasonable. Think if it was your dog. Also, this is not the first time something like this has happened at Dawg Paradise. My husband's ex-wife boarded her dog there, and a larger dog got into the area where it was, attacked it, and killed it. I thought this was a horrific accident, but now I can only assume the staff is negligent or they need to upgrade the latches on their fences. This is not meant to be a hateful review but rather a cautionary tale. Understand the possibility of what you could be getting into if you board your dogs at Dawg Paradise.*Note that the pictures shown were taken a week after the incident*

Great training programs! And the staff always seems excited to interact with the dogs at doggie daycare. My dogs always come home happy and tired from playing with their friends all day. And they don't even look back when we drop them off! I highly recommend!

This place is absolutely wonderful. The girls are all amazing and my dog literally sprints out of the car when she sees where we are. We do daycare three days out of the week. Two days we do comprehensive daycare, which is where the spend time doing things like scent or agility training. The other day she runs around like the nut job she is. Recently they did back to school photos for all the dogs and it was the cutest surprise ever. If you want someplace that will go above and beyond to care for your dog, you will not be disappointed. They also offer other services like dog drop off and pickup, grooming, swimming, and boarding. The boarding is also amazing because they have private rooms for the dogs and cameras so you can always keep an eye on your puppy! Special shout out to my dogs second mom Jorie, who always makes sure she is taken care of. Krystal, the woman who runs their programs, does an amazing job with organizing activities and classes for the dogs. I wish I knew the others names because I haven’t met one person there that my dog hasn’t immediately attached to! The owners are also pretty awesome and it’s cool to be able to support a woman owned business!

Dawg paradise is a home away from home for our dogs. We have been taking dogs there for over 10 years and have never had an issue. The staff is amazing and provides exceptional care. We have had dogs with medical conditions and they made sure medication was given and anything that occurred while there was addressed immediately. I have no worries when I leave my dogs there and know that each and every staff member treats them like their own. We also get our dogs groomed there and Joanna is absolutely amazing! I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation! Thank you Dawg Paradise for always taking excellent care of my babies!

Dawg Paradise has been our only boarding and doggy daycare choice for our big dog, Yuna. They truly care about the way they treat our dog and we feel they take great pride in the services they provide. We have used them numerous times and their communication and attention to detail is above average. On one occasion we had a family emergency and they bent over backwards to find Yuna a spot for a week, (even moving her to different room) because they were at full capacity. We would never hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs to board their dog.

Highly recommend. I’ve had my dog for 10years now and this was the first time he has ever been boarded. I had lots of anxiety about leaving him. He had his own room and there was a camera where I could check in on him at anytime. The staff was wonderful with him and with me.

We had to take a trip down to Nashville, and we left our Airedale Terrier. Benny with these folks. Very nice place, very friendly. People. We were tickled with the service. Benny came home in fine shape. Would highly recommend to anyone.

If I could give negative stars I would. This place let a dog get attacked and gave said dog left over medication from another dog without the owners knowledge. Also refused to take the dog to the vet after it was bitten. They keep deleting comments off their Facebook and have turned off the option to leave a review. They know they are in the wrong and this isn’t the first time it’s the MILLIONTH TIME! If you DON’T care about your animal and their well-being this is the place for you! Cause they absolutely DO NOT care about them either!

They let a friends dog get attacked and did nothing about. Refused to take him to a vet because it was to expensive. Gave him medicine, that was prescribed to another animal not knowing if it would have adverse side effects or not.

A family friend's dog was attacked while staying at this boarder. Boarder did not call the vet and did not alert the family. They only found out while picking the dog up. They are refusing to refund and instead are insisting on providing credit in place of it. Take your animals elsewhere if you intend on boarding them. We believe it was the owner's dogs that attacked the dog and in place of medical attention they gave them medication from their dogs.

Dawg paradise is a perfect place for your fur babies. Our 5 year old German shepherd absolutely loves the staff. She has plenty of space and she gets tons of attention. Would recommend Dawg Paradise to anyone looking to board.

I would not recommend this place. My dogs were stuck in a small room for hours and not given the attention they needed. Barely let outside. The staff were cold and uncaring. Do not take your pets here.

I boarded my two dogs here this month but made the reservation back in May. When I made the reservation i called and I was told that if I elected to pay more by having them poolside then they would be able to swim everyday. If I was uncomfortable with that I could let them know or bring a life vest for them. I told them it would not be problem as the boys love water . I was also told that the dogs would get a bath considering the amount of days I would be boarding them. When I dropped the boys off, there were two employees at the front desk. One with short blonde hair, the other was younger and had longer hair which I believe was brunette . They said nothing to me. No greeting, didn’t even look my way. They continued on their conversation and looking at the laptop. After several minutes (5-10 mins ) the one with short blonde hair said “who do we have here?” Straight faced and cold. Like I was bothering her and interrupting her conversation. I left with a bad taste in my mouth with the poor customer service but had good faith that the boys would have fun and be taken care of. I checked the cameras often and always saw the boys locked up. Not to say that they always were… because I cannot look at the cameras 24/7 but I just found it odd that they were always in their room when I checked. While I was away I was informed that they do not get to swim, that I would have to pay more for them to swim, also that they would not get a bath before coming home, that it would also be an additional charge . I did not appreciate receiving the wrong information back in May as that was the expectation I had for them staying there. Or if things had changed then they should honor what they told me when I made the reservation months ago. As a veterinary profesional we hear all of the bad for boarding and daycare facilities but I needed the service for my dogs and hoped to have found a place I would be happy with. This is the second time I’ve boarded them and picked this facility this time around. Hopefully third time is a charm at the next facility when I have to board them in the future .

A friend's dog was attacked by another animal here and the owners did nothing for the dog that was attacked except give the dog old medicine because the emergency vet was too expensive and also they didn't contact the dogs owners when it happened. Completely unacceptable!! Do not bring your dogs here!

Wonderful place. Good hearted people who care for pets. They are passionate about pets. And their mobile grooming service is excellent too. Here's a photo of our little guy just waiting for the Dawgs and Suds groomer to come visit. They are best friends. I contact Dawgs and Suds by emailing Dawg Paradise.

A fancy facility, nice decor, all the bells and whistles is nothing but lipstick on a pig at this place.I started taking my GSP to DP when he turned 4 months to get him socialized and have ample time to play outside while I’m at work for 11 hours a day. Right off the bat, my dog started coming home feeling sticky and WREAKED of urine. At first I thought this was quite odd, but figured he was playing with other puppies and was a victim of their potty break. Then it happened again, and again, and again, and again (Get the picture here?) I then called out their staff on this asking why I have to give my dog a bath practically EVERY day he came home from daycare. They tried to claim he was peeing on himself outside (Yeah, sure… My dog pisses on his spine all the time, whatever you say) They even at one point started COVERING my dog head to toe in some sort of powder to try and mask the smell (His body was still sticky as a laffy taffy from the pee all over his body) Things improved for a while, then I decided to have my dog boarded there for a night that I was going out of town. Doing so, they gave me an email and a password to watch the cameras they have there to keep an eye on him. They didn’t change the password for all of the cameras, so I’ve had access to their camera feed for months. Every day that I took my dog there for daycare, I checked those cameras regularly at work and not ONCE did I ever see my dog out playing in their fenced in areas. It then got to the point where when I would come to pick my dog up, he’s SCREAMING in a tiny cage prior to one of there very “enthusiastic” employees going to get him out in which he is immediately BEGGING at the door to go Potty. This happened again, and again, and again.I stopped taking him for quite sometime because I had concerns about the conditions he was under while at the facility. However, I had a couple days left on my 10 day plan so just this past week I wanted to use those up before I stopped taking him there (They don’t accept dogs over 8 months that aren’t neutered)The last 2 days, my mother has picked my dog up who is once again covered in piss, screaming his head off, and now they have him locked up in a cage where he barely can even turn his body around.I have never written a review in my entire life, but knowing that these people take hard earned money out of my salary to lock my dog up all day long and could care less about his well being, this needed to be done. These people don’t deserve to take care of dogs AT ALL. They are greedy, money hungry individuals who will take as many dogs in as possible with a completely incompetent and insufficiently numbered staff to put more $$$ in their pockets. Walk in the facility and dogs are screaming and it is absolute CHAOS with dogs in distress. They will try and tell you that your pup goes out in “30-45” min increments (Complete BS) You see for something to be an increment, it has to happen more than once. I can say confidently that your dog gets a 30-45 min potty break and “play time” until they are shoved right back in a kennel for you to pick them up at the end of the day. They don’t have enough employees to take care of your dog and the employees have ZERO urgency to take care of your animal. My dog sometimes didn’t get fed and NEVER has enough water. They tell you drop off for daycare is at 6 AM and multiple times I have arrived BEFORE their employees did.Don’t let their FB photos of the pups fool you, those pictures are taken during their once a day “potty break”. My dog hasn’t had an accident in his kennel at home in months and he came home the other day with yellow fur (My dog has white and black fur)If you want your dog to be socialized, take them to a park, take them to the store, but for God’s sake do not take them to this establishment. Completely false advertising in who they claim to be. Your dog will have extremely limited playtime and will receive no love from the people there, and I wish I would’ve known earlier. It is a dog prison with fancy Knick knacks.

We heard good things from several of our friends about Dawg Paradise, so after our boxer had ACL reconstruction we began taking her there for swim therapy. All of the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Services are reasonably priced and the facility is very clean. We have not used their boarding services as of yet, but I would be totally comfortable leaving any of our dogs in their care.

Each dog has its own room with a camera so you can check on your pet online. The feed never seemed to work while our Boston was there. There's a pool too, but they were changing the water or something so it wasn't in use. They take the dogs out to play in groups of small dogs and large dogs, which is nice-you know your dog isn't cooped up in a cage the entire time you are away.

Friendly staff and my dog always seems happy to go there and spend time there. We take her 3 days a week and have started using the taxi service. I think they are in for 2 hours and out for 30 minutes. This is probably wise for safety during play time but I like the idea of her getting more interaction otherwise 5 star place

Staff was genuinely attentive to our little kids. The facility is very clean. I love the pool for excercise, tv’s in the rooms for ambient noise, and have glass entry doors, not gates or cages. Not to mention, there are numerous security cams which are encouraged to view your little ones live anytime, anywhere on property!!! Excellent and deserving of 5 stars !!!

We left our 2 year old chihuahua, Sammy, with Dawg Paradise for a week. From the moment of booking him I was beyond happy. They answered all my questions and concerns, and were simply a joy to speak with. When we were greeted they showed us the space and spoke freely about what the services were. The space is amazingly clean and the activities they offer were beyond expectation. We utilized the cameras to watch him and were amazed by how happy he seemed to be. The amount of attention he received helped us have a relaxing vacation without worry. I can’t say enough good things about this place! Definitely a step above all competition. Thank you Dawg Paradise!

Our puppy (he’s now a young adult) has been there a few times for vacations and weekend visits. He did very well, and I’m impressed with the owners, staff, and facility. It’s been a while, and we’ve grown even more attached (so much so that he now sleeps at the foot of our bed). I know it is I who will have the harder time with boarding (anywhere!), not our dog. It’s time for me to book some mini trips just so I’m “trained” on leaving him, again. I know he’ll be in good hands at Dawg Paradise, though! I would have given a five-star rating anyway, but I hope my rating and review helps offset an obviously mistaken two-star rating where the rater said, “GREAT place!” “GREAT” equals four to five stars.
