One of the nicer Menards, they often have items other stores don't and there are always sales. Rebates are in the form of merchandise credit, so once you start, ole' John's gotcha. ;)

What a great store. Everything you want and then some compared to your big box home improvement stores with more items and some great prices as well as the 11% rebate you get back after mail in. It has become the 1st place I go to upon arrival at our son’s house lol.

This is the one we like going to, where are all the yard workers to help out customers?? Never around when you need them. Online Some things say in stock like 66 fence panels and there are none in store.

Very poor customer service, I asked them to correct a price, they could not find it on their system, while I could see it on the app. Rebates never arrived. The quality of lumber is reduced with multiple types of damage. The staff try to help, but not always available. Appliances are limited in variety. Items are misplaced. The price is higher than Walmart for many things like paints and brushes.

Poor customer service. From the pick up of an appliance. Complaing and moaning about the dept.it was bought from and the service desk about not doing things the right way. Because she had to do something. I get if things weren't done properly however ... she was rude and unprofessional.

Good all-around hardware store that will get you through 90% of your home projects.They have a great selection of woods - mostly construction grade, but also finer cuts and special woods.Their nuts and bolts selection is good, but you have to buy bulk packs of everything. If you need just a few of something, hit Ace Hardware.They seriously lack in the power tools department. I go to Home Depot for that.The Mastercraft doors are surprisingly solid. I picked up one for an interior door and it works and installed just dandy.The real reason to go to Menard's is their selection of weird Italian things. They've got to be involved with the Italian Spaghetti Mafia or something because they always carry these unique brands of olive oil, pasta sauce, pesto, and other things. Prices on these things are quite reasonable.They don't give discounts for military veterans, so I give the nod to Lowe's and Home Depot for that. They do frequently do an 11% off promotion, so catch that off you can wait.

I like Menards. They usually have what I'm looking for and at reasonable prices. The employees are mostly friendly and often helpful. This seems to have improved in recent years. Recommend.

I usually do all of my shopping there for repairs/improvements. Staff isn't always that friendly but I usually find what I need. Been trying to land a part time job for years. Unlucky so far but who knows. My review is based on the service though.

My wife recently went to look at outdoor carpet. Young man that waited on her she said was very helpful and polite. Not only took to checkout but also carried to car and loaded it for her! As a handicapped husband that means a lot to me!! Great place to do our business.

Solid home & hardware store, but what makes this one work is the staff. I was in there, in a rush, and Kayli greeted me warmly and saved me at least a half hour I didn't have to spare by looking up exactly what I was after and telling me the aisle # they were at. 5 of 5 stars for Kayli's help alone.

Don't buy anything from this place. They sell defective products and they don't accept receipts on anything you bring back without a receipt if it was bought with a rebate. Literally spent thousands of dollars at Menards, but after being burnt too many times, never again. Also, when comparing prices at other local hardware stores, you are better off spending your money elsewhere because even after rebate it's cheaper there.

I’m probably biased since I work at Ace Hardware (although we aren’t really competitors) but it’s shocking how there is essentially no customer service. I don’t think I saw a single employee until I went to check out. I’m not the handiest person but I know all about tools and other hardware from my job so luckily I was able to find what I was looking for or appropriate substitutions, but many people would be completely lost and totally without guidance. What’s the point of having such a big store if a) you don’t even have much selection and b) no one can find anything or even an employee to help them. Seems like a wasted opportunity.

Menards has been doing good business with good service. But I was deeply disappointed by the blinds part service. They made me travel 3 times unnecessarily. At the 1st vist, they omitted 1 blinds from my order. I understand. We all make mistakes. 2nd, they got me a wrong width of blinds cut. Now, I have to go for the 3rd time. There were 3 guys there and I gave them a good explanation but still that was not enough? They need to be more mindful about what they are doing or... find a better job requiring less thinking or customer service. So disappointed. My time is precious.

They had the parts that I needed to hang a floating shelf on my wall, but that's about it. The two people I asked to help me rehang a shelf that had just fallen, cracking and breaking several precious items in the process, dismissed me and gave me poor advice, including not trying at all. In the end google and my dad helped me more and were more respectful. Then I bought the parts and went home. The parts worked and got the job done, but I will drive across town to another store before returning to such poor customer service.

A living nightmare. Out of nowhere fire alarms were blaring, employees running, and customers completely stunned and unaware of what to do. After standing there in shock for some time, an employee finally walked up to me and said I could continue to shop because it was an accidental set off of the sprinkler system. I walk through the store only to realize I have no idea how to get back to the front of the store (first time/last time visitor). If there had been a fire, I wouldn't have made it out. Several attempts and minutes later I find the front door I came in. BUT the door I came in cannot be accessed to go out. In fact, there isn't a way to it with a cart. I'm finally directed by a rude condescending employee to go around some aisles where a second front door and registers are. The absolute dumbest setup I have ever seen. I pay for my purchases and head out the door where I have to walk through a river of water coming out of the store (a busted water pipe not the sprinkler system) and around a fire truck across the parking lot because why on earth would they want you to park by the door you intend to come out of? So to recap, ridiculous store setup, employees won't alert you of potential death till you're a ball of curled up nerves , park between the two doors (have no idea if carts are at the second door, betting no), and bring bread crumbs. I'll pray for your safe return.

Clean, and well organized. The staff are helpful and nice, but most of the times you have to know you to ask for help. Unfortunately and strangely, they always don't have the exact thing that I'm looking for! Today, I went there to look for moisture absorbers and I had no idea where to look for them; intuition told me that somewhere near detergents is a good place to begin, and they were exactly there! I was out in 5 minutes with what I was looking for.

Nice store. Enjoy the unique items I sometimes find in here. Will not use their ship to store option ever again for an out of stock item though. Waited almost a month then finally just drove over to another location that showed they were in stock to purchase that day.

This location is always friendly and helpful. On this occasion, I ordered a fire ring for a backyard project and was disappointed when I was told it would be three weeks before it would arrive. Surprisingly, I received a text notification it arrived today, six days after placing my order. They really came through this time!

After multiple time of waiting in this store with no help. (Except for the older gentleman in plumbing, who is outstanding) and having to purchase a mask to even shop there, let alone talk to customer service, I will never shop here again. I Wish I'd have spent the thousands of dollars elsewhere for no more thanks than I've gotten for my years of patronage I've given this store.

This is our go to home improvement store. They usually have everything we need. We prefer it over Lowe’s and don’t even consider Home Depot.Now for the negative:The parking lot at night is extremely dark and dimly lit.The security guards going into the yard are ALWAYS rude, actually rude is an understatement and often playing on cell phones making customers wait. Once we were sitting to get let out and had to phone the store and tell themThe security guard was playing on his phone and we couldn’t get out.You have to always make sure you buy enough of what you need for a project such as flooring. It would seem they carry off brands and selections and styles change often.The power tool selection is lacking of quality power tools. We always make the trip to Lowe’s for power tools.It can be a pain when wanting to look at something before deciding on a purchase when the item is in the yard.Sometimes you need to watch quality, some items are of lower quality.The rebate thing is annoying. We have had rebates we sent off for that we never receive. It’s a major hassle to try and do tracking on them and get them replaced. We are still waiting on a $45.00 rebate and doubt we will ever receive it.

Employee in tools had to go ask manager where tool I wanted was located. One item rang up a dollar more than price listed on shelf tag. After a few minutes of cashier looking up item price and refusing my repeated offer to walk 50 feet to show her price on shelf, I donated a dollar to the "got charged too much fund" and left.
