I'm done taking my dog here! The last few times have been a terrible experience for her. When the vet comes in hugging the wall like they are afraid of your pet, that's an issue. Dr. Keenan refused to complete her exam last year and Dr. Maxwell is terrified of dogs and should not be treating them. Not only that but she is rude and condescending not only to the clients (you know, the people who keep her business open) but also the staff who work with her. She spent a lot of the appointment scolding the vet tech for the supplies she wanted not being kept in the exam room. Get over yourself lady! Disgusting behavior.

This is the place to go if your pets are your family. If you want professionals who genuinely care about you and your dogs, who explain things to you in a way you understand, and that make time for you, too. I understand the best practices will be busy, but when you're worried, you don't want to wait weeks. They are efficient, super nice, and the building itself is clean, modern, and comfortable. They want to talk about your pet's backstory, so they get a clear understanding before they diagnose. They don't want to rush to get the pet out - you don't feel like a number. The doctors don’t make you feel crazy or ridiculous for worrying about your dog and they don't try to over-vaccinate your dogs. They explain medical research and labeling if you want to know. And when it's time to check out, you can just check out in the room and then leave out a side door. No waiting room, crazy! So nice. I know it sounds like a little thing, but sometimes vet waiting rooms can be stressful. And on top of that, they call and follow up to see how your pet is doing. I’m so happy I switched to this vet. Highly recommend!

I love Creekside! They've always been compassionate and straight forward with my pets' care and have worked me in for (mild) emergencies more than once. The two locations make it convenient whether you live in Lafayette or West Lafayette. I love seeing Dr. Jackson but on the occasions when I've been unable to have her as my vet I didn't worry because all of the vets and support staff are so knowledgeable, caring, and friendly. One of my old pets was a terror at the vet and I was nervous to switch vets because of her, but Creekside alleviated all of my fears and were able to help her be more comfortable in their care. I truly feel that they have your pets' best interest in mind and I don't hesitate to recommend them to any and every animal person I know and work with!

I had a wonderful time with Creekside, I had been with them since 2016 and had to end up moving. My puppy ended up having a myriad of congenital disorders that were skeletal. He has been in a lot of pain and as a student I couldn't afford surgery options. The staff at Creekside were very understanding and non judgmental. They planned around my budget and gave me the best treatment I could afford. Dr. Bertsch in particular was fantastic. She completely understood my position and never talked down to me. I would absolutely recommend them to everyone!

We had an appointment at 3:30 pm for our two dogs (earlier paid a deposit of $50 for the appointent). Unfortunately we went to the Lafayette location (on time) instead of West Lafayette. Once we realized that we went to the wrong location, the receptionsit from Lafayette side called West Lafayette. We drove to the West Lafayette location at 3:40pm. Folks there were extremely rude and stated they would not be able to service us that day. Understandable that we were late. But they would not even transfer the deposit of $50 for future appointment. They understood clearly the confusion that we had with the location.Very rude and unethical folks!!

What a phenomenal experience we had with this vet! From scheduling to the actual visit, Creekside was amazing. I could tell they cared about my pet and did everything they could to make our cat feel comfortable. They were transparent about prices and conveyed everything about our pet to me in a very friendly manner. I did not feel pressured, but rather they gave me gentle reminders of why they recommended what they recommended. I am so beyond impressed by the level of their care!

I would give these people 0 stars if I could. My cat is feisty, and the vet staff know that. However, his claws are clipped down to the point they are dull and he NEVER bites. They tried giving 100 mg of Gabapentin to soothe him before visits, which didn’t seem to help. Rather than offering alternative methods, they jumped right to sedating him for ROUTINE blood work. They could not even bother to bring a vet in to try as well, as all of this was being facilitated by a tech. We did not see the vet once. Do not bring your animals here, as the staff does not seem to know what they are doing.

Just had to share what a great animal hospital this is! Techs and vets here are super friendly and the appointments/process are pretty efficient (sometimes they run late).My dog had a neuter done and he was back to his normal self within hours. No unnecessary steps/sutures/cones (unless I suppose where it's necessary) to over-prevent risks. They're also sensitive to potential ways/gray zones of how pet owners might want to raise their pets. Definitely a trustworthy and recommended place!

This review goes for both locations as I’ve been to both. My dog was bitten by another dog on a Friday afternoon before a holiday weekend. Creekside still got me in right away to take a look at him. We found he needed to be put under anesthesia to get him taken care of. They had him all finished and out the door within a couple hours, all without an appointment. After getting home I noticed they even clipped his nails for me while he was asleep! I couldn’t be more appreciative of the above and beyond care demonstrated by every employee, technician, and doctor who worked with me. Top level care for the well-being of their patients is the core of this clinic. Would recommend this place to anyone in the Lafayette/West Lafayette area!

I have been to multiple animal clinics. This one employs a staff that can generally give you options and different price points of things that are available. They take the utmost care of all animals that I’ve seen. We have taken four cats here and will continue to do so.

I have been a customer of Creekside for 20+ years. I cannot imagine another veterinary practice that can provide the excellent quality of service that each of the personnel exhibit on a daily basis. From the first steps into the office, talking to the receptionist, to the outstanding quality of care from each of the doctors, I would not hesitate to recommend this practice to my family and friends. All of their staff are friendly and any questions you have regarding your pet's care are answered professionally and totally to your satisfaction. This is truly a fantastic place to bring your family pet!

They helped my puppy Thor out so much!! He was very sick and after taking him here he was back to his old self in a matter of days!! I had taken him to two different vets who had both misdiagnosed him without running any tests. The man who treated him was very caring. When I brought him back in for a check up a lady even came in just to see him and pet him because she had heard how much better he was doing and wanted to see. Very friendly staff. I will only take my pets here from now on.I also took my other dog there for an ear infection. The doctor was very kind and patient with him!

All the vets at Creekside are caring and knowledgeable. I couldn't ask for a better staff to work with either. When I came in without an apt with my lab because she wouldn't stop vomiting Dr Jackson admitted her immediately and did surgery and the staff kept me informed of her status and recovery. Without Creekside I wouldn't have Gracie with me today. I would never go anywhere else.

Absolutely amazing vet, I would never take my animals anywhere else. Everyone here is friendly, nice, and extremely helpful. I have been to other vets where they have talked down to me and acted like I was stupid because I didn't know any of the terminology they were saying, but the vets here actually explain things to you in a way that you can understand. They actually CARE about your fur baby. I will never ever go back to any of the other Lafayette vets after going here.

Incredible staff, they cared for my dog like he was their own. Hospitals don't take care of your regular family as well for real. Affordable service for my pups leg cast that i couldn't afford surgery for. 3 years later his leg works just as well as the other. He jumps down to the floor full force on it everyday. No problems. I'm really glad i went here.

We took our then kitten to this clinic in 2009, staff was great. So when we add another kitten to the family in 2010 we made Creekside our family vet. Our first cat, at a young age, was diagnosed with renal disease in 2015, so he had to go on the renal diet. The vets at this clinic said that a renal diet would be perfectly fine for our healthy cat as well. That cat ended up with a lot of health issues. We entrusted Creekside with our fur babies all the way up to 12-31-18 when we had to put the renal disease cat down. A few days prior, we had taken both cats in for their annual exam and vaccines. Dr Jackson administered a rabies vaccine to our sick and dying cat. Before the visit we knew that this baby didn’t have a lot of time left but he was still jumping up on things and he was still in good spirits and wanting to be apart of whatever was going on in the household so our cat wasn’t ready to go quite yet and we weren’t ready to let him go quite yet. After dr. Jackson administered the rabies vaccine he went downhill very quickly, in a matter of days. It became obvious we had to put him down. So we made an appointment with Creekside and took him in to have the procedure done. The staff was very caring through the whole traumatic experience. It wasn’t until the last three years since that I’ve learned from other vets that you don’t give a cat that sick a rabies vaccine. I have also learned that it is harmful for a healthy cat to be on a renal diet. It causes muscle wasting along with other issues. So they took our perfectly healthy cat over the years and made it very unhealthy. So in my opinion they took both our cats too soon.

My dog has hot spots on her and they gave her a shot and send her out. She still isn't better and I feel like they just don't care it's all about the money with them. They refused to let me go in with her and I've been vaccined and said I would wear a mask. I honestly question if they even did anything after they charged me 111. Since she isn't getting any better. Very bad experience and now she is going to a new Vet after 4 years.

Our 3 Havanese dogs love Creekiside! The vets truly have the dogs best interests in mind. One of our dogs was scheduled for an ACL repair but on the day of the surgery the doctor determined that she has had healed enough to no longer need the surgery. They easily could have gone forward with the surgery and billed us a huge amount, but instead they called it off because it was best for our dog. They are kind, responsive, and truly love our dogs.

Dr. Jackson and Dr. Keenan have been taking care of my cats since 2005 and I love these ladies. They are terrific! Staff has always been very kind, helpful and friendly. I have only had Dr. Schilling help with my cats a few times and Dr. Clark only once but liked them a lot also. I would recommend Creekside to anybody looking for a great veterinary hospital. Our fur baby ended up with a large wound. They took him in immediately, filled us in on every step, and had him fixed up in just a couple of hours. We are proud to say we now go to Creekside and we won’t be going anywhere else here in Lafayette! This place is the most caring compassionate animal hospital in the area!

My cat went here this morning because he couldn’t breath after he had surgery last week. They missed diagnosed him, sent him home tonight and not even a few hours later he had to be put down somewhere else because they neglected the fact that he needed to stay here overnight. And now my best friend is gone. Thanks Creekside. Would not recommend.

When my dog needed emergency care, and wasn't thier patient, they immediately found an appointment for him for the same day when my own vet wouldn't or couldn't. We have taken all our dogs there since. Fantastic care by people who love animals. Wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

My 71 year old mother called and ask to have her dogs shots updated so she can board her. The cost should have been around $150....instead after all the added tests the total came to $230! Recommendations were given but did anyone explain that it wasnt necessary to have her boarded? She didnt want a fecal sample tested or she would have brought one in....instead the dog poops while she is there so you go ahead and test it. She was under the impression these tests had to be done in order to board. Why isnt the amount of the extra tests disclosed before they are done? These are senior citizens and are on a fixed income and cant afford unexpected charges like this.....shame on you!!!!

I would have been a lifetime customer if not for them demanding money for a dog that has passed away for Services he NEVER received! Mind you I am spending over $600 each visit with my other pets. I hope that $140 they hustled out of me was worth it!
