I absolutely recommend Special O.P.S to others. I live about an hour away but it's well worth the drive. I boarded my dog there while I went on vacation and they took excellent care of her and gave her lots of love. They sent me updates and I wasn't as anxious, as I knew she was having a good time. I also train there and Heath is a wonderful trainer. He is very knowledgeable in what he does and helps with all my dog-related problems, Denali also loves him. No one was able to clip her nails at all but they managed to get it done for me. This is my first dog and they have been very patient with me, everyone at the facility is kind and will do their very best to help you.

We brought in an abused dog that had severely bitten me twice. After the first trip to the trainer the dog is a different dog! After our second class this dog is almost 100% off leash trained. I work with him a minimum of 15 minutes a day. On the weekends I work with him several times a day. Heath is a great teacher! Thanks for helping us!

So we have used them for training as well as for boarding. They are absolutely Amazing and our dogs are very well taken care of and loved while we are gone. They provide them with lots of exercise and play time. The updates and pics you get put your mind at ease. Our Bailey gets so excited to when we pull in for daycare. Top notch all the way around!!!

The staff at K-9 treats you and your dogs like family. Stephanie, the owner, is always personable and timely with any concerns you have. Her staff is well trained and truly loves animals. It shows in how they care for them. Heath, their onsite trainer is amazing! He speaks dog and works with you to help you communicate with your dog. He truly cares for animals and wants the best for them and their owners. He was able to get our rescue dog to interact with other dogs safely. A true miracle in itself. He is smart, confident, dedicated, and always learning ways to help their owners and their pet. K-9 is the best place to take your dog.

I have enjoyed seeing the great success that my Yorkie mix has had with trainer, Heath. Groomers are great, boarding has been a positive experience. Stephanie does an awesome job managing and recruiting top notch staff to care for our pets. I always enjoy a few laughs along with valuable information with each visit. My dog was rescued from a bad situation. I have a 4 year old make St.Berend that doesn't Ike seeing different groomers everything he goes to get groom. Beacuse he hasn't been around other people and other dogs that much. Therefore he gets excited and they get bad at him. But the girls up at K-9 took great care of are boy. This place also is going to help me retrained Peanut to be .y served dog again. The staff and Stephanie took great care of my dog Gracie, making sure she kept eating and stayed hydrated. Gracie is a medium sized pit/boxer mix with lots of energy. This was the longest we’ve been away from our pup and we were worried about her at first but after lots of updates and pictures of her having a great time on walks or making new friends we were put at ease. We highly recommend special k-9 ops for boarding. They care about all of their clients as if they were their own dogs. There’s also lots of “extras” you can add in on top of the TLC they already receive. We’ve also done one training session so far and learned a lot of the basic building blocks of training in that session that we use daily.

The (human training class) held Jan 7th 2023 was excellent. Instructor was informative, and on point in his field. Whether you are a novice pet owner or one that has raised and trained your own dogs, you WILL learn new things. Would highly recommend O.P.S.Note: it is a 3 hour stint, would reccomend to give the class a 10-15 minute break half way through.

Special ops k9 loves dogs, and if your ready to move yourself, your dog, and the beautiful bond your share forward..you must go at least talk to them

They do such a great job with your fur babies. Casper loves to go. He comes back smelling wonderful and nails all trimmed up. Make sure you give them plenty of time notice if your going to board because everybody loves them and they are always full.

We have 2 shepherds one aggressive trained in protecting and schitzan (doesn't play well with others if ya know what I mean). They took their time getting to know our dogs and from what we saw they did very well with them. Grooming was outstanding they combed them out so not shedding so much hair. What a great group of folks that love what they do. I loved the ties they got just a special touch!!!

Special o.p.s does an absolutely amazing job. They don't just train your dog and send you out the door. They go through dog psychology so you understand more of how your dog perceives things. They also always make sure your dog has understood the previous lesson before carrying on to the next one. Special o.p.s has a great balance of training methods that really helped me gain control and respect from my dogs.My own personal experiences with my dog:When I first got my dog he pulled me so hard I could only walk him for about 10 minutes before my arms hurt. He would walk in circles around me. He would jump on cars and people. He was reactive to other dogs, people, the wind, everything. Now I am able to walk him off leash in an almost perfect heel without him bolting off in every direction.I take mine to the dog park a few times a week. A dog park can be a bad place for dogs that think they can run the park and have no manners at all. When I first adopted my male, he was dog selective and would start fights with others, especially if they were larger than him. Yesterday, another male tried to mount him and mine snapped once then looked at me for direction. Then I was able to step in and walk mine away. If it wasn't for special o.p.s my dog would have never looked at me, and a fight would've broken out between them that I couldn't have stopped.My dog also began guarding his food bowl. I asked special o.p.s for direction and in a week I had no issues because I was able to find what worked for my dog and go with training.

Brian is top notch in dog training. He uses dog psychology (understanding how your dog thinks and perceives) rather than aggressive tactics to train your K-9. He loves what he does which is a blessing in itself due to the atmosphere of his business always being positive. He has a phenominal staff as well. Everyone there wants to see both the animals and their owner(s) grow. He also trains all K-9 to the same standard...so civilian pet owners get the same training as police K-9. Very educational and informational. Best money ive spent on my dog went to Spec OPS K-9. I would not go anywhere else. Well worth the investment.

Beware that if you pay a deposit for boarding and something happens that you will not be able to board you will NOT get your deposit back! Even if isn’t last minute and you were willing to use the deposit for another boarding or daycare.
