I have been a faithful supporter of Campton's Store for a couple years now and I understand how it works. I went in the other night and was ignored, then pushed aside while in line for someone off the street, the asked to wait because I wanted deli food. I said cool, stepped out to check my dog in the truck and upon reentry the first thing I heard was you have to wait. I said forget it I'll come back later, and I did the following day to learn I had upset the gal. Today I wanted to apologize and take responsibility for my actions with an explanation that, I felt slighted repeatedly, but my reaction was wrong. The girl argued with me and told me to talk to Doug about it, to which I replied I just wanted to apologize, I go out of my way to support this store but I won't be back. She said good and I left. I buy milk, bread, cereal, soda, chips, ice cream, and smokes averaging $75 a week since the first of the year, according to the bank, plus cash. My friend says every time he goes in the girls are rude, and I have commented several times of the skill to check me out and take my money without interrupting the phone call they are on about a boyfriend. Doug is a great guy and his daughter is a sweetheart of a young lady but the entitled attitude of the other employees needs to be reigned in before more folks just run to Kroger or Walmart.

Well what can I say.. Fortunately only good things when it comes my personal favorite locally owned business hands down period.. Camptons convenient store is a godsend and were in my honest opinion really lucky to have such much needed and well loved come one come on little bit of everything always convenient convenience store right here in our little home town of Washington Indiana.. the people are always friendly their prices are awesome they understand that their customers go through hard times and struggle with different things but they're always still really courteous and respectful to everyone and they don't overcharge or couch on their prices as a matter of fact they are a lot cheaper than our other convenience stores in town because not only are they locally owned and can operate with a lower overhead and can therefore pass on savings but to me the biggest and best thing about captains and their service is they care about people no matter how poor you are or no matter how worn down by the struggle of life Camptons always tends to payit forward through great service and awesome prices to the little guy to the trodden down or usless fortunate ones so to speak... They understand how it can get or be and I honestly feel like they genuinely care.. So yeah.. What can I say.. Camptons Convent Store Washington Indiana.. Best neighbors ever. Thank you Camptons for your service..

The owner of this store is amazing! He does so much for the community that it's crazy! He let one of a the kids put a donation box for my son when he was hurt. I am so grateful! He is also working on the out side of the store him self and doing an amazing job!

Place is awesome. Rip it fuel, dip and monster prices are real good. They got a lot of other good price stuff in there, from canned goods to snacks like chips and jerky. 10/10 experience every time I go. Definitely a loyal customer.

This store is such a lifeline! Thank you! Everyone working here is fantastic and tough. I do wish to correct a incorrect review by Ariel Fisher. The store is not open 24/7. But they are opened 8:30 a.m to 10p.m everyday. Check with the store staff about holidays.

The Owner of the store is a very good man, he works hard and he is a honest and fare to his customers and his family and I was walking past his property and he is a amazing artist for Halloween and he is not done yet with it his daughter told me but I have a lot of respect for him and he is the true American hard worker and that is the way I was raised all I can say thank you I will miss the store moving out of state on Thursday but if I come around angain I will definitely stop by and say hi Blessings Mick

Camptons has a little bit of everything their Pizza is so delicious you can get Deli lunch meat and cheese they have a small section of Frozen items Fountain drinks there's a pretty wide variety of products that can be purchased there the employees are always so nice and pleasant and the owner is an all-around great guy good to the neighborhood kids and just a very positive person within the community the prices are very fairThey're currently doing a little Remodel and I personally feel like it looks amazing

I have been going to camptons since i was a baby. Old man Campton would hold me when i was 3 or so while my parents got what they needed. He would let me play with the register. Doug campton took over after his dad passed away and he is an amazing guy who would feed anyone who is hungry. Ive seen people go in there n not have enough money n he tells them not to worry about it and pays it himself. All the people who work there are great and you always get treated like family!!

Camptons is the lifeline for the Westside in Washington. Open 24/7, excluding holidays. True definition of convenience store. Food from snacks, to small grocery items, to frozen foods to even deli and hot pizzas. Wide variety of drinks and small household needs. Accepts Ebt. Always clean inside and out. Fair and reasonably prices. Friendly staff, great owner. Decent size parking lot, with location right off 16th street

Great little country store carry alot of the cheap single candies and many other things including This cigarettes for 3.50 a pack including tax!! Fabulous pizza loaded up with toppings and cheese.

I have been going there since I was a kid but one thing I don't care for is the workers have friends coming in and sitting there and my daughter was disrespected by an worker friend I believe that was wrong I don't think I will be going there again I loved going there I respect Doug and his family but some of the workers are disrespectful

The worker's besides the really skinny one are rude and on there phone's the really skinny one is the only one who doesn't act rude and I hardly ever see on her phone there's price's are crazy and there Alway's out of stock on stuff
