In past several weeks have gained new employees great at customer service and working. The isles were a huge disaster in recent weeks with water area over run and impassible. Totally a liability safety and fire hazard. I went back a couple days later and it looked the best it has in a year. Assistant MGR has common sense on running stock only a few carts at a time. I was pleasantly surprised. I like the new helpful, courteous, employees.

Several experiences, aisles are almost impassable, Cashier's are always Stocking , I even used the self check out & it came up s Attenfent , I wlet my items & walked out , HIRE A STOCKER & A CASHIER

730pm sunday may 2nd 2021 I have a very full cart there's half a dozen people minimum in line with full carts and the line is staying steady and our cashier Alex is LEFT BY HIMSELF WHILE AT LEAST 2 OTHER EMPLOYEES WENT ON BREAK. Alex Did a very good job very professional and efficient. Galveston location has been closed approximately 10 times in the last few months for most of the afternoon/evenings for whatever reason so we have to drive here now but it's ok the store is nicer more organized more product. Disappointed in the employees leaving alex by himself being that busy

Very bad service from the manager. I've gone several times and it's closed early, it's not fair if it's the only dollar we have in Walton, and I've talked to several people and they also complain about lousy service

I had a severe allergic reaction and just STOPPED there to get some Benadryl and the clerk's called an ambulance for me and we're very caring even when I left in the ambulance. The Galveston Dollar General have FANTASTIC employees. THANK YOU ALL.

The difference between DOLLAR GENERAL & family dollar is that I LOVE THAT I CAN GO INTO DOLLAR GENERAL & FIND EXACTLY WHAT I NEED ALMOST EVERYTIME! Family dollar is just mediocre you can't even go there & get ingredients to make spaghetti, they either don't have the pasta in stock or the pasta sauce or garlic bread. The new DH in Walton is delightful! Clean, wide, UNOBSTUCTED aisles, plenty of stock, and excellent customer service from the employees. Way to go!

I have stopped by MULTIPLE times only to be met at the locked door with a hand written note on a piece of notebook paper saying they are closed for a short break or just closed.
