I first check y'all out on the web. We wanted a kitten and to be Female. First time on ur web I found my kitty. She was 3mos old. This is DECEMBER 2020. ALL I SEEN WAS A DARK COLORS OF KITTEN STRUGHT'N DOWN HALLWAY SKECHERS WAS HER NAME. We came in and I couldn't find her UNTIL I FELT KITTEN CLAWS ON MY BACK. Got home maybe 30mins. She owned US and EVERYTHING . Today she is happy loves to play eat sleep. She's became my husband cat. She will not let him out of sight. BUT we love her. She definitely has a FOREVER HOME. She's healthy set in her ways she's the greatest THANK YOU Y'ALL FOR BEING THER. I got her to help with grieving of My child. She definitely did AGAIN THANK YOU SINCERELY GENIA

I adopted a little chocolate striped tabby short-haired kitten from the animal shelter and she truly has been a blessing in my life the people at the animal shelter were kind up to their job courteous and loving I have nothing but praise for them more people should go there and adopt a pet I promise you won't be sorry amen hi challenge all Christians to find it in their hearts to go there and adopt a pet there are so many there and need a loving home my Molly is so happy to be here in my home or should I say her home it will fare your heart with joy and laughter amen and amen

Not nice at all cold and uncaring. They don't keep it clean and sanitary most of their animals die from catching disease from being at the shelter. And they do kill them just not there they take them to another facility and kill them. I feel like they don't respect or care for the animals it's just a slaughter house/ prison for pets so they can turn a profit it is not about the animals it's about the money

This place really helped us out when it came to finding our new best friend! As soon as we were pulling in David (my boyfriend)seen “Derby” now Luna and said look right there. That’s our dog! They let us foster her for a few days and we knew once she was around the kiddos that this was her new home! She brightens everyone’s day! Thank you all for everything you do for the animals there!

Thought they seemed like the nicest people but my kitten was absolutely sick. His eyes were completely gunked up the next morning and crusted shut. My vet told me he had anemia and he was absolutely invested with fleas. None of which was disclosed to us. If you’re considering adoption from this place, know what you’re getting into.

Would not let me foster a heartworm positive dog to see if it would get along in our household because I live 1/2 mile outside of city limits. I could have adopted, but if it didn't work out I would not have got adoption money back. I live 6 minutes away,other than this incident, the people that do hands on work with the animals are awesome.

Went with a friend whose dog brought home baby kittens (barely weened) had no idea where they came from and they didn’t want to take them because they were found JUST outside of city limits. I understand overcrowding but they weren’t in a place to care for babies and I already have 11 cats and 4 dogs.... how can you just turn away these babies and leave them to die just because they’re we’re less than a mile from your “cut off”???? Other than this one incident I do think they’re doing a wonderful thing.... hope they get better funds and more people adopt from them!

Have had nothing but great experiences here! We have gotten two kittens from the VAS, AKA Pet Port, and they are both the sweetest, cuddliest kittens we've ever met. The volunteers bottle feed very young kittens as needed, which makes the kittens very affectionate toward humans.Also, the cats and dogs have so much space and so many different choices of places to be. The cats can be in the cat room, which has at least four or five cat towers and high shelves to perch on. They can also go to the outdoor room, the barn, or roam the grounds (if they're feral cats.)The dogs have cages in a barn, outside, a big field where they can roam on leash, and spacious cages where they can play and swim.The workers and volunteers are so nice and helpful too!

It's a no kill shelter for animals. Mainly dogs and cats, but I have also seen a rabbit in there for adoption. I'm willing to bet they would handle just about anything. They spay and neuter pre adoption. Their fees are way cheaper than a private veterinarian. This is a great place to find your family's next pet.
