I also often used to occasionally shop here when it was Harold's.Yes they are often out of, or low, on goods. Just like effing Walmart and any other store. Although, I only go there for certain items. Yet, if I couldn't rate them above a 1-star, I'd take my business elsewhere. I don't care for rude staff, and hate self checkouts. But, I also have undesirable days like most of us. Try to be an adult American, Christian, with a little common sense. Some empathy.This Jay C's is a Kroger associate, similar to Ruler Foods. The Kroger label is often as good or better than the Best Value, or Sam's Choice labels. Hence the 3-Star rating.Although, I do feel a live "maned" checkout should be available to customers during open hours.

They obviously have a major issue with management. Many items are very close to the "best by" date so be careful. I purchased stale bread. Could not find any lettuce that wasn't brown. Olive oil exp date was 4/2024, it's almost March. This place is truly pathetic. Needs to be turned into the board of health.

Rotten produce is common. Out of stock items are common. Mostly I hate the dumb Kroger stuff with the digital coupons. They force you to have a smart phone and bring it to the store in order to buy things at a normal price. They pretend it's a deal, but really they just raise the price and then offer a "deal" if you use their app and their digital coupons. SO DUMB. Also their self check out machines are like Ataris or Commodore 64s, they are not smart and charge you for cash back!I wish we had another choice for groceries.

Get better cashiers!! There’s a short, mid 50ish woman named TINA who is rude and talks about customers like she owns the place. I’ve heard her telling fellow employees about customer’s personal life and criticizing and making fun of customers while they’re in the store. Heard her telling one of the bagger guys some rude hateful things about two customers one morning.The store needs to explain store policies regarding customer service and demeaning customers. Tina is not a nice person and anyone working with her knows her gossiping and hateful comments are not what Kroger’s corporate policy for customer service and professionalism allow. Tina seems to think she can get away with cruel talk, but I’m hopefully the first of many to expose her nasty personality.

The baggers need to be trained on how to properly bag and load your groceries into a cart. Bread is never to be underneath anything heavy.Raw meats with other foods is not okay, unless it is other raw meat.I am not a fan of all the digital coupon silliness, but that comes down from corporate that is not really in touch with the everyday people that shop at the store.That is not the actual stores doings.So, other than poor bagging skills, I really do not have anything ill to say about Jay C's

Good amount of selection for the size of the store. Cashier and bagger were both friendly and efficient. Surprisingly reasonable prices.

The store has quality food and friendly staff! In regards to their online 'order ahead' options, they fall flat. I had ordered a birthday cake online to be picked up the next day. I spent a lot of time thinking about the colors and how it should look for the person it was for. I placed the order and received a confirmation email that the store had received my order. I go to pick it up the next day when it was to be ready and it wasn't done. Nobody had seen the online order, which means there isnt anyone checking regularly. I had to buy a cake from them last minute with hasty writing and overall nothing like what I had carefully planned. The team was sweet and apologetic but ultimately I'll be sticking with wal-mart when it comes to pre-ordering.

We found almost everything we needed. We didn't have to wait in line to check out. They usually have several lanes open so you don't have to wait. The employees are friendly.The customer service desk employees are never friendly. Bev (I think) is the CSM. She's very rude and inconsiderate. I can't count how many times she has been rude to me. But everyone else is friendly and helpful!

If I could have gave this no stars I would have. The employees are rude and they make me feel uncomfortable. They make my fiance from Wisconsin feel uncomfortable too and we are never going back to that store. The only redeeming quality about that store is the manager. He is very competent and very professional. Otherwise that store isn't the that great.Not to mention during a sale I can never find anything.They all sold out.

I love shopping at Jay C They always seem to have what I'm looking 4 plus a little bit more at a reasonable price. If I ever can't find something in the store all I have to do is ask someone someone! New products are always arriving on the shelves.

Worst ran Kroger affiliate I've ever seen. Sale items never stocked, shelves empty, and no one cares. This is what you get when there's a lack of competition, and incompetent management. Maybe ringing the bell higher up the chain of command might produce better results as I doubt they are aware of the incompetencies happening here.

Has everything we need. I like the way this store flows, it's easy to get what you need. Long check out lines, but they had every line open and I wasn't in line longer than a couple of minutes. The baggers are always so polite and helpful. They also keep the parking lot cleared of empty carts.

Keeping in mind the restrictions placed on businesses I was happilysatisfied with my shopping experience. The store appeared to be clean & shelves were fairly well stocked. Employees were very helpful when I wasn't able to locate certain items. The traffic flow inside and outside the store was perfect!

Carried a nice selection of fresh veggies, and fruits with many on sale beating Walmarts prices. Found many other deals through out the store as well. Tempetature was nice an cool shopping on this hot July day. So it was a positive shopping experience.

JC is a Kroger company and has a great selection of items to purchase. I enjoy buying the fresh produce and good Quality Meats.The staff is friendly and courteous, as well as helpful in finding products on the shelves.They have a great deli and a great bakery.Many lunch items to choose from for a quick and tasty lunch.And don't forget, if you like this review please press the like button!
