Great hometown grocer for convenience. Lacks a few of my favorites from the bigger stores, but great for quick access to shopping staples. Prices are a bit steep. Worth the trip to the west side of Evansville for many essentials.

We purchased some very yummy doughnuts. Thank goodness one place in town had some fresh doughnuts in the late afternoon. We were also able to buy everything we needed for our Thanksgiving Dinner, here in our small town, the day before Thanksgiving!

Came in the other day to find the store completely empty. Stood at the front for probably 10 minutes before deciding to use self checkout, which promptly broke.Everything here is super expensive, and NOT worth it. Just go down the road to the priceless.

All items in this store are at least twice as expensive as every other grocery store near here. Unless they have a sale on certain things, the average person, especially with a family to feed, cannot afford to shop here. It's sad too because I prefer to shop and buy local when possible, but when that place is blatantly price gouging, I go elsewhere.

Nice store. Prices are a bit high on alike items you can buy elsewhere for less. But if you're in need for just a few items it's nice and convenient.. but I wouldn't advise making a shopping experience out of it when you're spending probably a dollar fifty more per item versus a store right up the road...I think IGA is just that way.. so 4 stars.

Prices ridiculously high. Deli staff rude and offensive. They don't slice as requested, left the items there. Won't go back unless an emergency!

Down home courtesy. Good selection of goods for a small store. Minimum wait in check out. Decent produce and even some organic veggies and canned beans. Handy location. Also a good deli and take out lunches and salads. Fried chicken.

Sorry, just not a fan. This store is the only reason why the town refuses to expand the shopping availability for lower costs groceries (unless you want to go to 3 different dollar stores that are never stocked, lol). Overpriced, family owned or not, it's hard enough being able to afford groceries, and people wonder why everyone goes to Evansville to get groceries. The store gives back to the community, which is great, but so could Walmart, Aldi, Meijer, Target, or really, any large chain store that would save the people who are stuck in this town on disability or government funds some much needed money, especially in this economy.

It's convenient for personal smaller specific groceries (prices are so & so), without having to commute into Evansville. Most cashiers are welcoming, if not, neutral. I always compliment the younger staff that is doing or trying excellent customer service, as adults, we should encourage our younger generation what is publicly appreciated.

Love the feel of this old time grocery store. Of course they are somewhat updated with hot food in the deli and a fountain drink machine inside. No fighting to make your way down an aisle and never a long wait in line. Employees are super friendly and you can always get help out to your car with your groceries if needed.

Very convenient especial since it is located in a very small town without any other produce stores but one there small store. The staff are very polite and helpful I have though purchased a few items from there that were expired and I didn not notice a few times and it isnt okay with me. Very upsetting and can be dangerous if me or my wife would have eaten them

Clean, down home grocery store with quality meats and also has a hot bar. Great fried chicken. They also carry a decent amount of hard to find/ specialty items you can't find at other places.

If you like raw fried chicken have at it. Some very rude employees and prices. Well let just it’s cheaper to drive to Schuncks or Walmart.One place that could care less about the community.

Went in for something yesterday, I know 2 places in town that sell the exact same product, 10 dollars more at iga? Better get your price comparisons down. I'm all about hometown pride and service. Trying to keep my money local, but with a 10 dollar difference, that's gas money to go elsewhere, and still get a better price. Check yourselves

It's a handy and nearby store in my local community.. you can get what you want under the circumstances of current events.. nice personnel..ok prices a tad high but they have bills to.. still give five stars.

To me a place of business is all about the people you work with. The staff at this business is courteous and well trained at their particular position. Plus they have the best fried chicken in town.

I do a lot of business are the meat sales once a year are pretty good other than that I'm not impressed, go to Wesselman's grocery store on the Eastside of Mount Vernon, there's not as many people go there and you don't have to worry about a big crowd.And the store has whole lot more product.

It's a smaller store, but tidy and easy to maneuver around in. They have a decent selection of staple items as well as some fresh herbs, jalapeños, Rotisserie chicken, smoked paprika, sweet onions, and gluten-free flour.

Got what I came for... it's just convenient grocery shopping to me few blocks away from where I live which makes it very convenient... fast and friendly and the cashiers do a real good job... I would definitely recommend it for shopping in my area but plan on paying a little extra over Walmart or Schnucks.. but overall it's a good store...

If there are no other options you can try and find the item you want but be warned add at least 50% to the cost. Guess since they ran the other store they bought into the ground they have to charge over to break even. Every bag of potatoes I've bought has had spoiled spuds Inside. Place is a joke and management is rude. 0 stars isn't an option sadly. Please make the trip and go to wesselmans at least if not Evansville for a real store.

You can't beat their selection from your everyday foods and supplies to top of the line meat and seafood. And if you have something special you want they're usually happy to stock it.

Very nice store . The workers are very helpful. They have a great hot lunch deli, it's usually different everyday.
