They were helpful at helping us get a dog that basically tried to make our yard it's home. If we were able, we would have kept her, but we just couldn't. She seemed like a very sweet dog, it's such a shame she was dumped like that.

I would go with a better rating if I had some help. I've called 10 times and can't even get someone to pick up the phone or get a call back after leaving a message. Good thing it's not urgent

They are absolutely amazing. Great facilities for lost pets. They take amazing care of every animal they come into contact with. Always a pleasure dealing with them when one of my furbabies get out and stray to far from home.

I went to visit a small dog that was going to be adopted the following day. He had been at the shelter for a few days and had come there due to some traumatic circumstances. The staff had not been successful in seeing his friendly side and it was nice they let me visit n tell him help was on the way.

Even though I wasn’t in their county. They went out of their way to help to try and help me find someone to free a stuck kitten. ( the kitten and his siblings and mother are all safe on a farm) thank you so much for helping me. It is very much appreciated.

They are the jennings county animal control but choose to only support the city of north vernon. Maybe their organization should be paid for by the local city tax instead of the greater county they no longer support. Useless to me.Current update 2 years later. Still that same policy. The first thing the woman on the phone asked was if i lived in the county. She also called me rude and told me she pays taxes as well. She kept saying what would they do with all of the animals if they supported the county. How about their jobs!

The ladies in there all were very caring. I had to have my dog put down do to an illness and they let me have my time to say goodbye.
