This store manager was so mad because of a situation involving my dad calling and asking her, if they had a product in stock. When I arrived and there wasn't that product I explained the situation. I was called a liar at the register. And there were well over 15 people waiting in line. That she grabbed my items and told me to get out of her store. And when I didn't get out fast enough because I'm handicapped and on a walker, she yelled it again and threatened to call the police. She needs to learn how to treat disabled elderly people. So unprofessional. The cashiers were embarrassed and I was in tears. I've never been treated this way

Pulled onto the lot at 9:35 pm (8/8/22) to get my daughter a fan so she could sleep and the employee was locking the door. 25 minutes early. Didn't even ask if we could make it quick.

This store has only been open, maybe, two years and every time I've gone in I instantly think "My goodness, this place is so run down". I don't think new stock has ever been put away; trip hazards everywhere. Tonight it seemed as though two people were working, one a manager (who was outside smoking when I first arrived) and a cashier. I spent about five minutes finding the stuff I had come for, get in line (4 people in front of me) , and start the long wait.Now there are five people behind me and still no manager. Other customers started questioning how many people were working and someone suggested going outside and retrieving the manager and someone did. She came in and it was apparent she was irritated by the way she was scanning and bagging items.Come on DG you can do better.

I don't even think this store deserves 1 star (but it won't let me post without a rating)I walked in and fell the floor was wet and there were no wet floor signs out. What really got me though was I told the cashier they should put out wet floor signs or a rug and 2 male customers proceeds to threaten me while the employees said nothing. So I just left the store in fear for my safety and I will never step foot in there again. And Corporate will be hearing from me.

I didn't go into the store until after 9 pm. I was thinking it wouldn't be busy. And it really wasn't. The problem a line of 5 people to check out. The cashier was doing her best. But the manager on duty was texting on her phone. Very poor customer service by manager.

Came in recently and qlot of stores ive been to lately have had some bare shelves but the dollar general on 4th definitly is my go to for groceries and way more affordabke milk, the staff are positive and friendly and make me feel welcome and like family,always know where things i need are and great deals

Place was clean and stocked. Employee's were super helpful in helping me find things I needed. My first visit to that particular store and they left a great impression. Good job!!

Always seems to be short staffed. I would guess that may have something to do with low wages. Shelves are normally not stocked and check out is very slow. Although the staff they do have is very polite and helpful.

Way better than it was! I don't know who was managing it before but it's like a new store now! Great people working there now and vary friendly. It wasn't a nice place to shop before but it is now!

They didn't have what I was looking for that particular day they were sold out. But overall I like the store it's handy its local there always around the staff is always Pleasant and helpful so yeah definitely five stars.

Was doing my monthly stock up shopping. I buy toilet paper, paper towels,plates, trash bags, & this black cherry cranberry juice that I really like. I also get my otc's there. They are cheaper than Walmart usually.

Newest doller general in town. The prices are ok when you just need a few extra things and not needing to go to Evansville. Most of the time I've shopped there the shelves only have a few selections because the others are usually always out. Other then that the selection is still better then the other location

I do like this place. Staff is always changing. Right now the start is friendly. However, nothing is ever in stock. Very frustrating! It's convenient though, instead of going to the other side of town.

I shop at both stores in Mt Vernon, because of economic reasons. I have a problem with the fact that I don't see anyone disinfecting carts or door handles. Lots of folks not wearing masks, including employees not wearing them properly. I wish this could be addressed without starting WW3.

Its DG folks. The aisles are cluttered and there are usually not enough staff. The staff that was there, however, were all friendly and as helpful as they could possibly be.

No bags for goods, had to buy my own. Received shipments not put away and blocking isles, and only 1 rep I saw in the entire store? Wow!

management don't mind putting all kinds of money in their pockets, maybe they should put some in the employee's pockets and let them put products on the shelf so customers can buy it.
