It was alright!! Not too busy for being St Patrick's Day!! There were Girl Scouts selling cookies at the entrance!! They were very cheerful and polite!! I like Town and Country, it's like the only one left!! But their prices are a little crazy!!!

Generally, this is a place I do most of the grocery shopping. They meet in the middle when it comes to quality and fair prices. Convenience is most appreciated along with close handicap parking.

Murray works in the meat department. He is very knowledgeable and always has such a pleasant personality. Murray is by far one of the best employees Town and Country has. This world needs more Murray's for sure. Thank you for all you do!

Purchased 2/10/2024.Town and Country AND Strack&VanTill in Valparsiso:Rotten avocados - trashed all.Watermelon that reeked of acetone when cut open plus weirdly mushy inside.I will not shop your produce depts again.

Convenient. Seems cheaper. But…..last time my milk was bad at time of purchase with 10 days left on the expiration date. Today 2 bags of cooked eggs were rotten. I suspect they don’t respect time and temperature safety guidelines which leads to unsafe and spoiled food. There also is very little supervision of employees which is kind of rad. Total Lord of the Flies vibe. I never know if I’m going to be helped by a teenager with a surly attitude dressed in all black or ignored by a group of 4 employees talking about Insane Clown Posse. Whoop whoop!

Been shopping here for years but recently the standards have gotten terrible.The frozen bunkers have food way above the line. So some is frozen some is thawed and if you have to return it you get an attitude from them.Someone is goin to get seriously sick.

Stopped by here with wife to shop for meats Never Ever Again.the meats wereSo tough brought steaks london BroilRoast pork steaks.this store is one hot mess.the frozen chicken was freezer burnt as well as other frozen meats they had.I Will shop mijer's a lesson learned.

Great place to shop and save a few bucks. You have to bag your own groceries, but that is usually better, because nobody is going to put milk and bread in the same bag. Great selection of imported foods!

I love shopping at Town & Country. Cheryl that works in the seafood department, she does an extraordinary job. She's very patient, consistent, and professional. I must say she goes up and beyond to the assist the customers. If I could I will give her 10 stars .

Store locks actual front doors an hour before they actually close. Lights on all frozen foods are off. I’m not even sure this place WANTS people to shop here. Store isn’t what it used to be. Shopped here for over 30 years-has become a disgrace-sad, just sad.

The employee in self checkout just called me a "jagoff" because I couldn't open the plastic bags well and apparently used a bag that was like 5 bags down from the front. Sorry, arthritis is no fun! I keep forgetting to stop going to strack stores but I then I get helpful reminders like this.

What happened to the time of customer service? I've been coming to this grocery store for years and loved it. Now you walk in and the people "kids" stand around, talk to eachother, don't look or talk to the customers. It's sad this place will probably end up like the rest.of the grocery stores around closed due to lack of reliable friendly employees. If i was the owner I would.fire.the entire crew and start over. Guess I'll go to Walmart unfortunately.

This place has taken a recent turn for the worse. T&C has been my preferred grocery store because of cost and location, but lately the drop in quality and affordability has been making me question that preference. One thing I have noticed is that 9 times out of 10, if something is on sale, there's a reason. For example, my latest bad experience:I bought a package of raw chicken wings for what I though was a good bargain. The sell-by date was marked as two weeks later, which doesn't make sense for chicken, because the typical shelf life is 3-5 days. Another odd thing was that the label said Strack and Van Till on it, but I didn't notice this. The next evening I opened the package and realized from the smell that they were very spoiled. So I took the wings back to the store's front counter and told them they were spoiled, and they asked for a receipt (which of course I didn't have) and then informed me I had gotten them at Strack's, which initially had me confused because I hadn't noticed the label, and I question my sanity more with each passing year. I went back to the poultry section and found about 20 more of the same packages with identical labels and sell-by dates and brought one back to the manager to show him, thinking he might want to check them to make sure the whole batch wasn't bad, but he just asked me what was wrong with them. Long story short, I got my refund but was pretty frustrated by the whole experience.I could list a half-dozen other recent grievances but I don't want to turn this into a novel. The most infuriating thing is that sale items usually have something wrong with them that you discover after you get home.In general, prices have gone way up while quality has noticeably dropped, and I'm seriously considering picking another store as my go-to spot.

Their Meat Department is Number 1, placed an order for 3 Standing Ribs this morning and they were ready in less than 2 hours. The Meat Department personnel were so friendly and would definitely recommend. Thank you Oh So Much.

Dave the store manager is extremely nice and generous! He does so much for the community and always helps Boone Grove Emementary with donations for their events. We appreciate everything he does and would like to thank him. We couldn't make this events happen without his help!

I seem to think their prices are better than Strack's, their sister store...but I could be wrong. I have learned the store and appreciate they don't change brands often. It is always clean. The staff does not turn over often, some of them have watched my children grow up. It's not perfect, but definitely my go to staple!

I bought 4 ribeye steaks. Turned out that these steaks were a meat glue steak. Absolutely disgusting. No wonder the deals are cheaper than elsewhere.

Town & Country has a great variety of products. The have their own best value products that can save lots of money for quality products. The cakes are fresh and beautifully decorated. The produce is good with a nice selection. The employees are friendly and helpful.

I don't trust the cleanliness of this store. They can't even clean up the broken marquee tiles from the parking lot and sidewalk in front of the store. For years this litter has just been lying there. How can you assume their meat department is sanitary when they can't even pick-up their own litter. Gross me out.

Been shopping here for a VERY LONG time. They have selective bargains that yield lower prices than big box stores. The meat department always has fresh meat and a good selection but my favorite is the deli and fresh fish counter. The sales prices on fish are usually very good. The BEST part is the fact they will cook it & spice it the way YOU want it, the more experienced personnel are AWESOME! Been eating from here for years, try it for dinner, it very convienant, they get it all done while you shop.

I have been going to this store for over 30 years. The last two years I noticed alot of there foods are expired and sitting on the shelves for purchase. For example mayo,I have reported it to the manager many times.

The cashiers are very friendly. Sometimes the store looks dirty. Also I have to check expiration dates on many items . One time there was expired milk in the milk case.......not good. I have found other expired items on the shelves. TC really needs to check their stock for expired items. I have brought this to the attention of several TC employees in the past but when I was shopping at TC yesterday I noticed there were still expired items on the shelves....example bottled lime juice.....one bottle was on the shelf with a use by date in 2018.
