they have vegan options! few, but it's better than none. it's a small place. very, very clean! the topping options are amazing. there were 2 tables outside for seating. it is worth the visit. I recommend and will visit again.

It is far and few anymore where you can go to a olace and customize and make your own ice cream! We love coming here and making our favorite concoctions with frozen yogurt and all the fun delictious toppings they offer! They even offer little cups so you can taste a specific yogurt to make sure you like it before you put it in your bowl!

This yogurt bar is my go to when I drive to Fair Oaks farms, Dunes or Chicago from Indiana and they have a good variety of non fat and low fat yogurt options. I always love the chocolate and fruity flavored yogurt.The order is based on the weight of yogurt and it is priced at $0.59 per pound which comes up to roughly $6 per person for a medium sized yogurt cup (assumption price only).The place is packed in summer and they offer a wonderful array of fruit, nut and Graham cracker toppings with whipped cream and fudge/chocolate sauce.

Really delicious place with many options! The self service is fun for the kids. You've got to watch your kids as they add toppings because it can add up quickly if you don't pay attention to them. It is very worth it! We love being able to try the flavors before picking what we want and we love the cup dividers. We also love the Smyling staff and $5 day. :-)

Brought my boyfriend for his first froyo experience. He's not a huge fan of ice cream but he loved this! We really like being able to sample the flavors before you pick and all the different toppings! Cashier was super nice! They also offer a military discount :)

Always clean and the frozen yogurt is great! They often have specials or deals if you follow them on Facebook. They also have new flavors coming and going, and listen to their customer base regarding what flavors are fan favorites (premium butter cookie for the win!). Great for kids, too!

The yogurt is great! But for some reason they have a scented vaporizer running near the cash register. It isn't a great smell.Also, it would be better if there was more outdoor seating.

Love the vegan options! There were four options when we visited: watermelon sorbet, pineapple whip, chocolate sorbet and vanilla coconut. All were delicious! Plenty of toppings too.Store was clean, staff were friendly. Highly recommend!

I love it! The frozen yogurt is absolutely delicious and you can put whatever kind of toppings you like from the table that has great topping selection. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing.

Slightly pricy, but overall great. amazing ice cream, so good was hard to choose 1 kind. Works are nice and toppings have an AMZING variety. I must admit, this place made me SMYLE... bit not my wallet.

This place has wonderful frozen yogurt. I've been other places where the flavors taste off, but not here. They always have a good varitey of yogurt flavors and the toppings are fresh. Love the atmosphere

Nice selection of yogurts, sorbets, and Italian ice that changes periodically. Great topping selections as well. Clean. Friendly staff. Very nice after-dinner spot with less guilt than Dairy Queen.

Super fast and friendly service. For some reason the pineapple whip wasn’t working and I’ve always wanted to try it, but they got it fixed by the time I was done so I was able to try it before I left!

Came in, said Hello to employee behind register and received no greeting let alone eye contact acknowledgment. Stood there while employee was moseying her way through packing an order, still no acknowledgment let alone eye contact. She finished packing and literally put it in the fridge behind her and walked to the back... Still no form of acknowledgment. That order was mine... Thanks. She said she thought I was waiting... Lol I literally just came in and stood right in front of you. Good luck with that!

Not from Valpo but now every time I go to Valpo I go here. It hasn't changed at all since the name change so if you like it before you'll still love it. If you haven't been here, you pick your yogurt flavor or flavors and then add whatever toppings and however many toppings you want from a toppings bar and then pay by the weight of your cup. Typically you're gonna spend between $4-7 depending on how much you load it up.

Wow! For a place called Smyle, does no employees here do it. When I asked for their new Edible Chocolate Chunk Cookie Dough I was asked “Are you okay?” Wow. Disrespectful. Not only is it overpriced, wow what a waste of my valuable time. As a transgender man they treat me with utter disgust and an object other than a person.

While named "Smyle", very little of that was happening with the employee that was working tonight. Weirdly silent, curt, and non-responsive. The Fro Yo was good though.EDIT: Just noticed the review before me used the exact same pun, and had a similar complaint. I hate it when I'm beat to a joke.

Extremely over priced. It's just frozen yogurt (nothing special about it) and you wait on yourself!! Ridiculous. They got me one time but that will be the last time. $16 for 2 cups of frozen yogurt??? No thank you!!!!!
