Our dogs have been a challenge for us to trim their nails on our own, so we were a little nervous to have Smoochie Pooch come here. However, we had absolutely NOTHING to worry about! Even when our one dog had to be coaxed out of the house, Macie, took her time and gave our pup a calm and loving approach! He looked so handsome when he came out of the can, and Macie said he did so good! We love her and SP!

I’ve used Smoochie Pooch mobile for a few years. They cut my dogs ear once. I also received a bad haircut with strangling hairs in his paws. I never complained because I’m an easy going person and I know how to give grace when mistakes happen. They would even call ME to set up appointments when they apparently needed business and I would always schedule when they called. This week I had an emergency and needed to cancel my appointment. I called first thing Monday, since their store is open Monday-Friday. (The hours are on their main website.) The man who answered was extremely hostile about canceling the same day, even though they were closed Sunday. I had a long standing relationship with the company and never done this before. He said I needed to leave a message on Sunday…as if that would have made a difference. It is not like I cost them business for rescheduling. The angry man threatened that he would charge my card on file anyway, which I told him he did not have permission to do so. I ended the call, and was charged in full for the appointment, without receiving the haircut, without an appointment on the books. Smoochie Pooch stole from me. This is how they treat long standing, loyal customers. With no grace or respect. Never in my life have I been spoken to with such hostility by a business. If you’re reading this: I would avoid this company like the absolute plague. They are dishonest, disrespectful, and undeserving of anyone’s hard earned money or loyalty.

I cannot say enough about our groomer Macie. She is professional, kind, and excellent at what she does! She treats my dog as if he were her own, and I am very appreciative. He is always scared when he goes in and she is so comforting to him, and she is able to calm him down and does a fantastic job. I highly recommend Macie and smoochy pooch.

I had my 3 month old husky puppy groomed by Lauren and my puppy smelled so good, was so soft and she treated her very well during grooming.My older dog, who is very anxious and doesn’t really liked to me messed with, did a great job and Macie was amazing with her and didn’t push her past her limits.100% recommend!

Our personal groomer canceled the day before due to an emergency, and after reviewing places on google maps smoochie pooch was able to fit us on last minute before our road trip down south. Our Teddy Bear is also blind and needed someone who verbally connects with him. Maci seemed to do just that l, when we picked TB up h le looked very calm, which was a great sign. He was also cut so handsomely. We may have found out new groomer. (Valpo Location)

Search far & wide and you will not find a better groomer and friend for your pup than Macie! She did the last grooming on my 16yo yorkie poo before she crossed over…years of shaking and anxiety when I took her grooming and little did I know this would be her final grooming…but when I picked her up she was calm, peaceful, renewed If you want someone to show your pet the love & attention they need, while renewing their exterior, Macie is hands down the best option!

We use the Mobile Groomers for first our Epi dog Rizzo. It's much easier on him, no not commotion other dogs barking. He looked fantastic. We've booked another appt for him. Very very happy!!!

Horrible and unprofessional service. Moreover, they don’t take responsibility for their poor work. There are many choices of groomers around, therefore my recommendation is to save your money, time, your fur baby’s looks and wellbeing and go for grooming services elsewhere.

hesitant to even make a post over my smoochie pooch experience because i keep seeing reviews about the horrid customer service buttttt here i go anyways over the years i’ve always sworn my smoochie pooch and have told my friends and family to go because i USED to bring our family dog there… recently i brought my dog and on the phone i was told multiple times that they have had experience with my dogs breed and assured me that they would be an amazing fit for me and my dog. WRONG!!!!!!! the night before my appt i had chosen to brush out my dogs curly hair w a slicker brush and fine tooth comb and checked for fleas and fully wash and dried her because i knew based off reading current reviews that i would be charged for a dematting fee because i hadn’t had an appt there with this dog before. the morning of my appt i walked in and was told that my dog was dread locked down to the skin???? now someone tell me how in the hell you’d be able to run your fingers through my dogs hair and even pet her if she was dread locked???? or tell me how 20 mins after i dropped her off she was magically “covered in fleas” AFTER i had dropped her off?????????? not only was my dog shaved down to a #2 guard but it wasn’t blended and she was given a bandana covered in other dogs hair (i know it’s not my dog bc the hair is black and hers is white and she’s hypoallergenic and dosent shed).i also had to come home and cross check their sections and spend another 2+ hours fixing where the haircut wasnt blended or crossed checked at all….. i wasn’t going to make a post because i usually don’t see a reason to bash small business or not give people the benefit of the doubt bc at the end of the day i do hair and i understand a consultation or an appt doesn't always go as planned, but since my dog came home with other dogs hair and the fact that now im out almost 200 and i had to come home and basically redo it.

I love the way you cut my pets hair, and I like that everyone there is so friendly, and it looks like you really do love animals. but if it is at the expense of my pets getting injured, or even death. I prefer to change who I take them to, and if I am going to go in to an establishment, and pay the kind of money that is charged at your place. I need to be 100% certain that my pets will be safe and in the hands of groomers that know what they are doing!

I knew they were getting up there with their pricing, but I went ahead and booked my dog here anyway. I was absolutely appalled when the groom came to $130 to clip my dog’s hair (less than an inch and no matting) short. I certainly expected the cost to be $100 but the additional charge is actually a penalty for not booking with Smoochie Pooch on a regular basis. She is regularly groomed, but I don’t set appointments anywhere and just call when it’s time. If it’s been more than 8 weeks since you booked with them, they charge you more. I can see charging extra if a dog comes in and is in serious need of more work, but not for a dog that’s clearly well taken care of. My dog doesn’t need to be groomed that often and the job that is done here is never worth the money. They even add a charge on top of the base groom price when scissors must be used. Since when is that not part of a full groom? Her ears and underbelly are uneven and her nails were not done properly. They’re not broken but are splitting from being grounded too hard. Go anywhere else but here.

I have an Aussie and called around for pricing, availability and friendliness because it was my dogs first time going to a groomer and they were definitely the friendliest! She was also very honest about what bundle deals they had versus trying to charge per item I wanted!Everyone I came in contact with was very friendly and very caring of my dog. Kayla Vance did such a great job, my dog looks amazing. She trimmed some areas, did the deshedding treatment, teeth and ears. I brush my dog when I bathe him but he’s never been this soft ☺️He was also SO happy there and that meant a lot to me. I’ve heard some horror stories about the big chain stores and I’ll never be concerned going here! You can tell they actually love dogs!

My dog gets one of those spa things every so often, it’s very good and they do a good job. the only problem i have had is that when they cut his nails they don’t file them (or at least it doesn’t feel like they do) so his nails always end up being really sharp after the cutting. for the price that it costs, they should be able to do that.

I was probably more nervous than Rocko was for his first ever professional grooming appointment but Sydney was amazing!! She let me come back and pet him while he was on the table and started with his nails and trimming his pads and then it was off to the tub. I came back and he smelled and looked so amazing! Will definitely be coming back!!

Took our 2 dogs to Smoochie Pooch and the service was excellent! Sophie has soft fur, smells great, nails trimmed and a cute green Kerchief.Macy received the traditional poodle cut. She is so cute! Smoochie Pooch did an excellent job!

It was a bit pricey, but Miss Major came out sparkling clean, and surprisingly, she had a huge smile on her face when we arrived to pick her up. Usually Miss Major is scared of the groomers, but not at Smoochie Pooch! 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
