Cindy is a great trainer for our pup and family! We completed puppy start right and moved on to good manners quickly thereafter. It’s been awesome seeing how our puppy has grown from taking both of the classes. We practice and use the tools we learned every day. I also love how excited our girl gets once she realizes we are going to school. She loves her teacher and is so excited to get to her classroom and “warm up”. I’m confident my large breed girl will continue to grow. We plan on coming back for our good citizen once she turns one! We highly recommend Patient Paws.

I took my dog here twice for basic training classes. Both times we went we learned something new. My dog is a rescue and suffers from a lot of anxiety and PTSD. Cindy’s classes have tremendously helped her become more confident, learn basic commands, and overcome some of her fears. I’m so thankful for Cindy’s knowledge and support throughout our journey. I would recommend her to everyone, with any dog, and any behavioral issue.

This was the best experience. My husband and I got our first pup Maverick, and I immediately looked into classes because we wanted to best start for our boy. Through Cindy’s 5 week course, he learned so much and excelled wonderfully. I hope people understand that you are not paying her to train your dog for you. She gives you the tools you need to train your pup and build that trust and works with you so you need to be ready to put the work in to see the results. We appreciate everything Cindy did for us, it was something we looked forward to every week. Will definitely be calling her again for more classes or if we ever get another pup! ;)

Cindy is amazing. We learned so much through her positive training! Our Willow, who had a rough start to life, has learned basic training through positive reinforcement. She is still a puppy, but with this training she has learned the basic skills to become a much calmer member of our family and is less socially awkward. Years of rescue and fostering so many troubled strays, I found myself with an abused fearful stray who had never been socialized, never been on leash and extremely head shy. Cindy and her amazing assistant helped build confidence and trust, while guiding me to bring out the best in this particular rescue canine. Patient Paws was a great experience for our shy, timid mini golden doodle puppy. He was 4 months old when we got him, so many of his learned habits were difficult to break. After the first puppy class, Teddy never potted in our house. We ended up completing 2 sessions of Cindy’s classes and have made so much progress with him. Her class prices was very reasonable and had many different options for days or times. We also became friends with the other pet owners in the classes and gave each other ideas. I would 100 percent recommend Cindy’s classes to anyone or if we got another dog would complete them again. 🐾

I can't say enough positive things about Cindy and her training program at Patient Paws. She is extremely attentive to the needs of every owner and dog in class, and provides guidance and suggestions tailored to their unique needs. I've completed both the Puppy and Good Manners class with my pup Huckleberry, and our growth from the very first day of class to today is incredible. I feel extremely confident now in my relationship with my energetic, excitable boy--which is very important to me as I have young kids at home and we plan on bringing him out with us often. Patient Paws is amazing! We have a two year old miniature dachshund with anxiety. Training has been something we’ve tried to do at home, but it wasn’t very successful. Cindy was so helpful and supportive when it came to our dog’s training. He took a five week course and the progress he’s made is wonderful.

Patient Paws was the best start for our new puppy! We wanted to give our puppy its best chance at success and decided to give Patient Paws a try, and I am so glad we did. Cindy (the instructor) is kind, patient, and reassuring. You can also tell she is a genuine dog/animal lover. She will take her time and work with you if you (or your puppy) is struggling with learning a new behavior. I worked with my puppy every day at home and the results were tremendous. We enjoyed the puppy classes so much that we also signed up for the Canine Manners classes. Once again, I'm so glad we did! My puppy is going on 8 months old now and knows several commands and new behaviors. I would have been lost trying to do this on my own. I can't recommend Patient Paws enough! I reached out to Cindy desperate for help with our new puppy Gizmo, who was incredibly energetic and impulsive. During our initial phone call, Cindy was empathetic, reassuring, knowledgeable, and professional. Gizmo and I took her Puppy Class and Canine Manners, and the change in him has been remarkable. Brought our new 7mo old Bernedoodle to Cindy's class. After owning multiple dogs throughout my life, this was my first exposure to clicker training. It turned out to be an incredible method. I cannot say enough about Cindy (trainer) & Carlyn (helper) and her training techniques. Very patient & professional. My puppy has learned so much and his obedience is now at a new level. We have 2 German Shepherd pups. When we called and spoke directly with Cindy we explained that they were anxious and needed some help. She enrolled us in a puppy class instead of offering individual sessions. We assumed she knew what was best but we were oh so wrong. It was a horrible experience from start to finish for the pups and my family. She is condescending and rude. The boys were barking in class and she said that she was not going to put up with that. If you can’t handle barking dogs you should not be a trainer. Waste of time and money.

I took my rescue dog, Whisky, to Cindy for 10 weeks. Whisky was certainly a hand full. He was incredibly excitable and had obviously received little to no training prior to my adoption. While he still has lots of energy, Cindy taught me (and him) how to settle, sit, stay, lay down, off, watch, drop it, leave it, twist. Because of the foundation Cindy gave us, I have a much easier time teaching Whisky new behaviors with his clicker and positive reinforcement. I cannot express my gratitude for the affordability of these classes, Cindy's patience, and genuine compassion for my dog. She has helped us tremendously and I look forward to attending more classes in the future. If you are considering Patient Paws for your pooch, I highly recommend it.
