Everything you need. This Menards is super clean and organized. Many departments and staff everywhere to help you find what your looking for. There’s even a small grocery aisle. Holiday decorations are also always brought out early for people who plan ahead.

On February 5 my employee and I were getting supplies for the following day when we spotted some wood in the clearance rack. We grabbed the wood out of the $12.50 and $16.00 rack. The cashier couldn't find the price and called the manager up to approve the purchase. I was accused of not following the rules because I was supposed to call a manager. When I pointed out that there wasn't a sign directing me to call a manager, the guy started raising his voice and said he wasnt selling me the wood for that price and then insulted my intelligence with a 10 dollar off offer. I am a contractor with a long history of purchases at this manards. It was the most disrespectful treatment over severely damaged wood and was obviously not worth very much. The lack of respect I encountered at an establishment that I frequent often and where my company spends a lot of money was nothing short of astounding. To add insult to injury, my employee was there on the 11th and that wood was back in the $12.50 slot. The same guy told my employee that he couldnt buy it for that but could pay 30.00. I want an explanation for the policy of pricing items according to the whims of an absolute vulgar and angry man and why manards would accept this level of unprofessionalism.

Is it not courtesy anymore to ask paying customers if they need help loading say a standup freezer into there vehicle whoever is in charge of the training or customer service needs some training dang not a single person asked if we needed a hand and there were plenty standing around while we were checking out!

Had a rehab job for an apartment I own and used Menards for all the materials as I think they had the best priced products for what I needed. Full rehab that included a new granite kitchen countertop. I ordered the countertop with them and gave them all the dimensions that my contractor had told me. Expected arrival was 2 weeks, but it turned into 4 weeks. Thats understandable considering all the issues companies have had during the pandemic. Contractor goes to install the countertop and tells me that the sizing is wrong and theres a gap from the wall about an inch. I went to Menards and informed the manager, Heather, that the countertop came in incorrectly and she gave me 2 options. Either return the countertop and they'll make me a new one, or they could give me a credit for the wrong sizing. Since this was for a rental and I was already a bit behind schedule, I decided on the credit. Heather called me back and said they could do $100... Now mind you in order to fix the issue, I had to buy extra tile for the backsplash as well as extend my wall out to cover the gap. $100 did not even cover the cost of the tile I had told her, so she went back to her boss and they offered $200. Not to happy with that either, so I told her thats not enough and requested $400 since the sizing was wrong and with the extra materials I needed to purchase to fix the issue. She proceeded to tell me that It was not their fault since they created it to the dimensions I had given them. Admittedly It may very well have been my contractors fault since he gave me the dimensions, but she then proceeded to tell me I signed a contract that stated I refused Menards to come out and measure for the countertop themselves. I know very well that I never signed a document refusing them to measure. This all happened in December/January and now we are in May and I still have yet to receive the credit Menards has promised me. I have tried calling them and going in person to ask about the credit, but every time I go Heather is not there and no one else can help me. I will return as a customer as I do enjoy Menards as a company, but this was an awful experience that still has not been resolved for me. Here are photos to show for reference.

I love Menards garden center! They have a great variety of flower's and plants. I picked a few annuals and a few perennials and added them to the garden at my work. Now I just have to mulch and it will be complete 😊

Great place to get all everything at once. Huge store and has lots of different departments. I've never had a problem with this Menards. The staff are helpful and they even have a grocery Aisle to pick up some food.

A Home Depot wannabe. The most aggravating aspect is at their website they do not state which Aisle an item is located in (Lowes and Home Depot's App and Website will tell you). I am still trying to figure that one out.UPDATE: I was just going through many of the reviews and on the negative ones they pretty much use a template saying to contact the manager. Don't even waste your time at that store, go to Home Depot, it's right across the street and they have brand names. Which begs the question why Menards does not...food for thought.UPDATE II: if you notice below and as I stated above I am being told to contact the store Manager. Incredible.

This location seems to have a bigger selection on display. The staff is hit or miss, few are great as they will go the extra mile to help you find what you are looking for. Overall it is a great store

I asked a worker behind the desk by the rebate area a younger female where to find butcher paper she proceeded to tell me the area it should be around…I go search that area for 5 mins find nothing so I went back to the same worker told her I had no luck if she could help me…this time she used her hands to motion the area of said butcher paper instead of simply showing me..so after looking and still having no luck I walked out…I’m not lazy or just wanting someone to do it for me but she had it pulled up in front of her exactly where it was yet all she would say is “it’s by the seasonal items”

Every time I come to this place, I regret it. Especially when buying plants. This ignorant woman at the checkout decided she needed to scan every single one of my plants and flowers that I got even though clearly she can see that there were three of the exact same one. Intern breaking them. I asked her to be extra careful, and she just kept leaning her overweight self over the cart to very carelessly grabbing the plants. I could’ve gone back and exchange them but I don’t have all the time in the world to do it. I spent enough time, trying to find plants that were actually alive and taken care of from Menards. If I didn’t have a rebate to use, I would not have gone here at all. Very disgusted and disappointed with Menards once again.

DONT BUY APPLIANCES FROM HERE. They made a mistake and left $10,000 worth of appliances in my driveway on a stormy day. Then had the audacity to charge me extra to have them come back to put the appliances where they were supposed to be originally. It looked like someone took a baseball bat to the fridge when we got it open. Returning that was a nightmare and they refused to actually put the fridge in the house because “they didn’t feel comfortable moving the appliance” then why are you in the appliance delivery business? What a joke. Only shopping at Home Depot from now on. They would never let this happen.

My family is in the process of buying countertops, and we took pictures of all samples and tiles they had. What they sent us was entirely different and not what was represented at the store. The manager insists it’s the same, but also sends us a letter that says menards can send you pretty much any color they want and not refund you. We wanted a black countertop and it’s nearly white. Unacceptable and you should take accountability in misrepresenting what was purchased. We have spent thousands in your store, and we will now take our business elsewhere. Shame on you Menards.

This is a mixed review. The store was well stocked, the employees extremely helpful and pleasant despite the store being extremely hot and uncomfortable. No circulation making it a very unpleasant shopping experience, a quick in and out leaving before picking up my entire list. Hopefully my next trip the air conditioning will be repaired!

Amazing deals on cereal and groceries! Beats Walmart, Aldi, Meijer and Jewel. The grocery department keeps expanding. They have a simply great pizza called Brew Pub, it could stand next to a take out pizza and hold its own. Marvelous job to the buyers and their grocery and beverage buys. Keep expanding, we love to shop at Menards!

I didn't even know, that Menards sold furniture. Great name brands, that have been around for years. I needed a sofa, and finally got one. The manager and employees went above and beyond to help me. No pressure or in a hurry to make the sale unless they knew I was pleased. Best part about it, I DID NOT HAVE TO WAIT FOR MONTHS TO GET MY DELIVERY. ( LIKE MOST STORES THESE DAYS.) My sofa was delivered in two days. The guys arrived with smiles on their faces. Very polite. Took care of everything. What a big help to me. I am thrilled. If ANYONE OUT THERE NEEDS FURNITURE go to Menards They'll take good care of you. And you'll be pleased with your purchase. I definitely will make purchses there in the future. Thanks guys for your great service.

Good store, nice clean and organized but not why I'm writing this review.This one chick there, looked to be in college with blonde hair, is quit possibly the GOAT at scanning and bagging items. I had 10-12 items in my cart and before I had time to even get my card out she was done scanning.If someone was making a scanning/bagging team. She would be Tom Brady of Scanning and Bagging of that organization. Im in the parking lot writing this. That's how crazy it was.I just thought it was going to be a normal trip to Menards, boy was I WRONG, I bet you she can beat Mike Tyson with how quick those scanning hands were. Keep in mind I've been on this earth for 27 years and I have seen 1000s of people bag items. I'm shaking as I type with what I witnessed.Anyway yeah, who doesn't like Menards I mean come on

A decent store I can get some of what I need at Menards. I usually get good deals here the 11% off is nice, however some of the tools I have bought from Menards are not up to my high quality standards. I am the type of person who will research and buy the better tool or brand depending on product.In general The Menards Valpo store is clean and stocked about 65-75% of the time with some exceptions. Again I wish the Big Box hardware stores had touch less pay, I hate working on a Job or even a project and cannot get In and out of the store in a decent amount of time spent. Also Menards needs to start carrying more brands like competition but not junk brands.

Excellent store. They carry a huge selection of products. They also have delivery service. I personally do not like the treated wood from menards but I know others that love the wood. I myself get treaded wood from home depot. Menards carries a large variety of tools also. Plus a full assortment of fastners. Employees are always polite but not always the most knowledgeable they also carry a large variety of dog and cat food as well as treats and other dog or cat products.
