Cashier lady brings up bath time with her kids both times I went into store. One of those times I had my toddler with me. Both times I came into the store I've only said hello and nothing more. The store also doesn't have a disability accessable enterence. Weird experience overall.

Loud kid in front of me messing with the register bell wasn't leaving when his mom went out the door and the cashier wanted me to trample over the kid because he wanted to start ringing me up. I also put a divider down (because my kid was making a purchase and then I was) and the cashier takes the divider and throws it and says we don't need it.... I had to then put it back and say "we actually do need it and that's why I put it there." The cashier was rushing me for no reason because unlike the parent in front of me my kid doesn't mess with everything at the register. When I put my card in the cashier should be paying attention to do his part but he was too busy counting the next person's cards to get the number ready for them so I had to stand there while it said "waiting on cashier". Cashier was pushy, rude and rushed me for no reason. I had my son's cash ready and my card ready for our 2 purchases. I didn't want to push some random kid out of the way (that the cashier let play with his register bell and squeaky toy) so he was annoyed with me.. Also two workers were messing around and dropped some liquid and it sprayed everywhere and if I hadn't heard them messing around and went into the aisle I would have been doused with what I'm guessing was a full jug of soda with the two girls messing around... Idk but this location is a mess and needs some training.

Always a line at check out. You don't need two people to blow up balloons. Waited in line only to find out I couldn't buy a gift card in the line I was in. Then, I had to wait for the balloon fiasco to subside in the other checkout lane. Good grief.

I LOVE this dollar tree location. Huge kudos to staff and management. Product assortment is well filled. Seasonal products are regularly condensed and new merchandise added. Cashiers are friendly and provide a genuinely pleasant checkout experience. Because the store is so well run I spent well over my intended budget. Cannot wait to come back for the rest of the Christmas stuff that’s coming out.

I am literally addicted to this store, and all Dollar trees sites to be honest!! I always come here, for numerous things, they've got thee absolute neatest, cheapest priced, and coolest biggest selections of ANYTHING and a little bit of EVERYTHING u could imagine! I LOVE IT!! AND WILL ALWAYS, HIGHLY,MOST POSITIVELY RECOMMEND THIS STORE TO ANYONE THAT LIVES TO SAVE AND FIND UNIQUE AND BEAT DEALS, EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK!! 👍👌 ;) And here's just A FEW LITTLE HOLIDAY DECOR ITEMS I PICKED UP TODAY!!

The Valparaiso Dollar Tree is one of the best ones in Northwest Indiana. The store as a whole is clean and organized and the employees are helpful especially Nicky. She is courteous, friendly, takes care while bagging items. She has amazing work ethic and she makes a good trip to the Dollar Tree a GREAT trip to the Dollar Tree!

We were in the Valparaiso store today and the check-out line was so long it took up a full aisle. There was only one cashier on the register, Jasmine, and she was so efficient and friendly even under the stress she must have felt with being the only store person around. I myself walked around the store and no other employees were present. Jasmine had a smile and asked if there was anything she could do to assist us. She never lost a beat.

I've frequented this store since it first opened. I've been amazed at what the store has transformed into over the years and applaude the current manager for doing such a great job. They have continually improved and I'm proud of both the managers and workers.

The Valpo location is large, do there's plenty to choose from!How can you beat a 3pk of women's "no show" socks or a 3 pk of Betty Crocker "Easy Seal" (twist on/off lids) 12oz storage containers (primarily for food) when the cost is a mere $1.00 per 3 pk!?The two associates I interacted with were also very pleasant & helpful :-)Of course I had to grab floss picks while I was there & some of my favorite organizational items & office supplies.Granted, I patronize a few different Dollar Trees because they don't always carry the same things!One thing I was looking for today wasn't carried at v the Valpo store. I'm not concerned bc I found items I'd wanted the last time I was at another location, which didn't carry some items I located today.I usually have pretty successful visits to Dollar Tree

Very clean inside. One of the smaller dollar trees though, they just don't have as much stuff as other dollar trees. Cashier's always friendly. Overall, still a really good place to shop for cheap supplies.

☆☆☆☆☆This Dollar Tree is really nice. They have a lot of very affordable yet good quality office, hobby & school supplies. They have all kinds of seasonal type items and decorations.There are several isles of food and drinks, toiletries, personal hygiene and even a nice greeting card section.Each isle / category of products is clearly labeled so due to the extremely helpful and friendly staff running a highly organized and well stocked store, they probably have what your looking for, it will be easy to find and affordable!! ☆☆☆☆☆

Even if it is no longer a dollar for everything anymore, it is still the best place for almost everything. Candy, decorations, definitely party supplies, glassware, makeup, storage, random knick knacks.You can do pretty well here with just a few dollars.

Koilyn at the register did an outstanding job checking me out. I was buying a lot of mugs and glass, he made sure they were packed nicely so they wouldnt scratch or get broken. I appreciate the extra time he put into my items. Thanks Koilyn!

Always love my time at Dollar Tree. Can't beat a place that everything is a dollar. I bought peace tea because apparently it's supposed to make you feel at peace. It didn't do that but being in Dollar Tree made me feel at peace. If your looking for a great store without busting your wallet wide open with debt. Dollar tree is the place to be the only negative is that things aren't free but what do you expect it's still a business. Stop acting like that Karen!!! Sorry, I kind of went off subject, anyway shop at Dollar tree if you want to shop at a great place! That's my review, Corey Out!!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. As well as the huge variety of quality items at a price you simply can't beat. Great place to allow kids to learn the value of money and budgeting with organized well explained merchandise. I highly recommend wether your on a budget or not it's truely a dollar store living up to it's name.

I'm happy that Valparaiso finally got its own Dollar Tree store! This store, albeit a new store, is very clean and organized compared to other Dollar Trees that I have been to. The product selection is very good, in my opinion, and even features a small frozen foods section inside the store. My biggest complaints about this store, however, are staffing and parking. The store always seems understaffed, with most times only one cashier available no matter how many people are waiting in line. Parking outside the store is pretty awful, with an inconvenient entry/exit setup and very limited parking availability. The store also happens to be situated on a busy little strip that has heavier traffic, making the parking situation all the more frustrating. Overall, if you have a little extra time to shop, I would ultimately recommend this store for its variety.

We enjoy Dollar Tree's selections and great value, however, we were sadly disappointed with the cavalier attitude the employees displayed with respect to their concern for our safety and that of the other customers. The person who appeared to be the store manager wore a face mask that only covered her mouth and not her nose while the cashier had her face mask hanging from one ear. Totally disappointing to see the utter disregard for Indiana Gov. Holcomb's #maskit campaign and my and my wife's health. :(

Every day new items... This store has long lines at the registers! A lot of people likes to shop there for all sorts of occasion, from birthday party supplies to school supplies... They even have a small refrigerator island... everything is $1.00 No joke! They will even take coupon if for the right item listed... Personal are friendly and will help you to find items.

They might have good prices on gift wrap, but how much are you getting. Half the price on gift wrap, for half the wrap papper. You have to watch what you get there. I baught a spray bottle there and the nosle don't want to open. Bad quality on some things.

I like the seasonal decorations they have. Along with greeting cards, and dishes. I am never disappointed when I walk in there. Even their restroom is clean. 👍
