I love this place. It's open 7 days a week from 8am -10pm. Mark is always working and always really friendly and helpful.They have a lot of stuff other places don't have, tons of drinks, snacks and frozen foods.They JUST remodeled this location and it is even better. They have a lot of unique food items that are great and it seems like they get more in everytime I go there.Tons of parking, easy to get to, close, huge variety of affordable items, clean establishment with a friendly and helpful staff. 5☆

Today I went into this Dollar general to do a return and just browse around with my 4-year-old. We always find the things we need on sale and the store was very neat and tidy! Unlike some Dollar generals in the area this store was very neat and organized even though they were still filling the shelves which is a pleasing experience because you can at least see that they're trying to get the items out to purchase and you can still navigate the store! Every employee that was working today Wednesday August 25th was polite and friendly and a few even spoke to my child! Mac the cashier who checked me out today was one of the kindest most patient people that I have been waiting on by recently! We shared a personal story and we're even able to bond on a day that I was already having trouble! This young man was a pleasure to deal with and should be praised!

Garrett and Marc are always helpful and smiling. I shop there almost daily. The store is always neat and clean. The shelves always appear well stocked as the various products I buy are readily available. Prices are decinatrly competitive. This is my favorite store to shop!

This particular store needs a good cleaning, and has for quite some time. I generally don't use this store unless I need something and I'm in a hurry. The check-out clerk was friendly and nice.

Not impressed at all. My grandson went in to buy a product snd couldn't find a worker. Cashier was nowhere to be found. When he did find him the worker didn't have a clue. An adult with common sense would've been able to find a feminine product. Still a good value, but I prefer the Calumet ave. store.

This dollar general is always a convenient quick stop for that item I forgot to grab at the store or they can be my favorite place for coupons I've saved huge amounts using them especially when they have an app just for their coupons it makes the whole experience very easy just walk up punch in your number and your off they apply them all and you save no paper coupons needed at all

Most of the workers are so friendly and very helpful, I one man sticks out to me, I'm not sure If he's store manager or just an employee, but he is so nice and funny...my son loves going in there when he's there, always engaging the kids and customers which is nice because a smile can make a day turn around..he's very helpful anytime u have a question... definitely gonna have to double check his name but I'm sure anybody would just read that and know exactly who im talking about, he's there almost everyday :)

I have been in alot of dollar general stores, this is by far the DIRTIEST I have ever seen. Was in line for a bit with 10 other people all social distancing, and one cashier. Finally some came from the backroom to help stay away from this invested place. Go to the one on route 2. It is nice. This one should be condemned

The guy at the register was one of the most pleasant people. He was in an arm sling & probably not feeling 100%, but you'd never know it. Wish there were more people like him around!

This Dollar General outshines the one on North Calumet! The store is always cleaner, well lit, stocked, and employees are so much friendlier, helpful and attitudes are so much better! In my opinion the North Calumet store needs closed down; it is a s### hole!!

Dollar General was the only store that had a regular size dish drainer. Thanks. The entrance and cashier area is a little crowded which is challenging with the pandemic and social distancing. Just keep an eye of your surroundings to safely exit.

The store near me has a great staff. The employees are extremely helpful and friendly. I feel that their prices aren't much cheaper than Walmart though. That would be the biggest fault.

This Dollar General location just seems to be on top of their game always have full inventory have very very friendly staff and are always greeting and willing to help especially the manager there he is very friendly with people of every age the store is very clean very organized I cannot say enough about it

If you don't want to shop at the big retail stores, go here, the stores are very small & you'll get out the door much faster. Decent prices, the employees are knowledgeable about items.
