Stayed at Solitude and enjoyed this beautiful private cabin. Visited Nashville and Bloomington, but found ourselves spending most of our time at the cabin. We loved the morning visits from the deer, watching the squirrels, fishing and the hot tub. Would highly recommend to anyone that needs to relax and recharge. Trying to decide which cabin we want to stay in next.Nearby activities: Recommend going to Hard Truth distillery.

My husband and I stayed at the Moosehead Cabin to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had a wonderful time. The privacy, peacefulness, and serenity of the cabin and surrounding property was just the peaceful, relaxing getaway we wanted! The cabin was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals minus the food! The pond made my husband very happy to fish whenever he wanted to and I enjoyed relaxing on the porch swing and taking in the beautiful scenery. We were blessed to see wild turkeys, deer, birds and even heard an owl one evening. We plan on coming back for another visit soon. It was exactly what we were hoping for and more.

We stayed in Solitude, although it was peaceful I gave this two stars because of the price compared to the stay. We were woken up by a chainsaw and loud equipment one of the mornings and evenings (What we were trying to get away from). The fire place has a TICKING timer. I understand the need for a timer but the fire place stays on maybe 10-15 minutes at a time and the entire time it ticks?? The inside is a bit out dated, and there is no where to hang up clothes? They could put in a simple wooden bar upstairs to hang your clothes. The coffee maker was very dirty. They ask you to wash up your own dishes, understandable, but they don't give you enough supplies to keep it cleaned up and there is no dish washer. There were also no paddles with the boat, so no way to get around in it. It also said on the website that there would be board games in the cabin. If we would have known there weren't going to be games we would have brought ours from home. All in all we had a good time, but for the price we wished we would have stayed somewhere else. We assume they are so expensive because they are not that far from the city. There are many cabin choices elsewhere that are just as nice without the price!

I've visited twice, in 2022 (Pappy's cabin) and 2023 (Solitude cabin), and it's great. Remote location means it's very quiet and secluded. Private hot tub is great. Nice outdoor deck with a view of the woods with deer and wildlife walking around. Cell signal is pretty poor though, and we didn't have wi-fi. Still, would definitely come back.

Me and my husband drove 5 hours from illinois to visit Antler Log Cabins to celebrate our Anniversary and to take a quick break from our hectic life at work and at home. And this experience is HANDS DOWN worth the drive! The people from the office has been very helpful with questions and information we asked. Very easy to contact and such warm/kind people in general. The cabin itself has such a cozy ambiance. The hot tub facing the peaceful and quiet woods was such a relaxing experience! Had a fun time watching my husband get on the boat on grandpa’s pond only to see him and the boat tip on the side 😂 Such great memories have been made in this trip! Highly recommended for couples trying to enjoy a special time with their better half. Will definitely come back again! Just be mindful that their cabins get booked pretty fast! You have to check their availability at least 3-4 months in advance! (Not surprised how busy they get, this place is awesome!). Thank you again!

Love this place. 2nd time visiting here. Each time was a wedding anniversary. Plan to visit again on another one. Very lovely time. Last time we stayed in the Solitude cabin and this time we stayed in the tranquility cabin. Loved everything about it but for me the bed was uncomfortable, to hard. Definitely recommended either one of these cabins for a romantic get away for 2. I personally like the Solitude better. Mainly because it faces a pond you can roll boat in and or just sit out on the front porch gazing at it. Either way you go it's a great place to check out.

AMAZING cabin living! All the amenities of home in the most beautiful setting. It was impeccably clean and perfectly decorated. Check in is at 4, and they so kindly left a light on inside and one on the porch in case we arrived after dark.We stayed 3 nights in the Anglers Cabin for our son's graduation from IU. And it was so nice staying away from Bloomington and all the fray of graduation. So close to Nashville, which is a fun, cute town with wonderful restaurants.I wish I would have found this gem earlier in my children's time at IU. We will most definitely return.

We just spent 3 days at Moosehead Cabin. Cabin is absolutely beautiful! Very clean and has everything you need. My favorite part was just sitting on porch swing watching my husband fish. He did catch a bass. We couldn't ask for better weather it hit 70 yesterday. Saw turkeys amd deer everyday! Super secluded! Thanks for sharing your beautiful property!

My husband and I had the best time at Antler Log Cabins- specifically the Tranquility Cabin. The property as a whole is very secluded, quiet, peaceful, and all in all- perfect for wanting to get away and relax. We were able to completely unwind from our busy lives and enjoy every single moment, together. We were blessed to be able to stay Monday night until Thursday morning and not a moment was spent wasted. Although it was a bit chilly, one night my husband made us some delicious rib-eye steaks (from Bloomingfoods) on the charcoal grill right outside the kitchen door. Staying in and making dinner together as opposed to going out to eat- priceless! The indoor fireplace was definitely another favorite for us. We had it on when we did sit down and watch TV- it gave the perfect, warm, relaxing feel. While we spent most of our time at our beautiful cabin we did venture out and visited a few different places: Runcible Spoon, Oliver Winery, Hopscotch Coffee and Bloomingfoods Market and Deli were our favorites. There are a number of different places to go visit, shop, eat, etc. around, just have to take a little drive. Each place is worth visiting but most important- Antler Log Cabins are a must visit! Hubby and I can not wait to visit Antler Log Cabins again!! We’d love to plan a trip and bring our kiddos BUT we’d also love to plan another trip for just the two of us! :D The Tranquility Cabin was perfect to create memories in and we can’t wait to visit again!!

We have enjoyed Brown County a couple times per year, for the past 15+ years, and for the first time ever we reserved a cabin with Antler for a stay a few weeks ago. Our trips are always special as we get our families and friends together for hiking and horse riding through the park to Story.Sadly, my brother-in-law was in a farming accident that claimed his life and we had no option but to cancel our reservations for the stay that was intended four days from the accident. We called Antler and explained the tragic circumstances for the cancellation. We would have been content with a credit towards our next stay, but these folks were kind enough to refund our entire amount paid.Although we have not yet stayed with them, I am certain their kindness and integrity is clearly evident in their properties. We will most definitely remember their generosity and book with them for our next trip to Brown County. Thank you Antler for your understanding and kindness.

We just got home from our second trip. It never disappoints, we had a great time just the 2 of us. Fishing all day, hot tub at night. We sat on the huge front porch a lot. Fantastic trip to unwind and disconnect for a few days. It was extremely clean and quite. We enjoyed the wildlife we saw. We always pick Moosehead cabin because it is a secluded cabin with a private pond. It is well worth the money spent! We will definately return and enjoy our little slice of heaven on earth again. The staff are always nice to talk to and call you right back when you call to make reservations. The process to rent it is extremely easy!

I stayed at Pappy's Cabin at Antler Log Cabins recently. This place is simply beautiful, serene, and absolutely exceeded my expectations. Also, it's secluded and I never saw other people the whole time I was there. First, I was amazed at how immaculately clean it was and the attention to detail in the decor. This cabin has everything you will need and more. If you plan to cook, anything you could imagine needing is already there. You literally just need to take your food and spices. Let me say, my favorite space to hang out and chill was the upper deck (this cabin is unique in that it has an upper and lower deck space as well as a porch). It was so gorgeous and peaceful to sit and hear and see the nature. Mary was absolutely great to work with. I had so many questions before booking and called several times, but she was always patient and answered my many questions. My only regret was not staying longer. I can't wait to stay there again. Awesome experience. Book it. You won't be disappointed.

We had another wonderful experience at Antler Log Cabins . Great place for a girlfriend's getaway weekend! Grandpa's Cabin is just perfect. We really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. And building a fire in the wood stove on a rainy day was so cozy. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need to cook your meals.

Wife and I had our private wedding ceremony at the cabin. Lisa was great. Fantastic scenery for pictures. Amazing place to get away from everything. Cabin was awesome. Enjoyed the visits from our little buddy Alvin. (name we gave the chipmunk that greeted us as we came up to the cabin) The lake was nice and peaceful. Cell service was poor... which was one of the best things,

I have already recommended Antler Log Cabins to several of my friends and family members after staying three nights over this past weekend. I stayed in Angler cabin and was so impressed with the surrounding grounds and the view and access to the lake just a few steps from the front porch. The cabin is clean, beautifully decorated and stocked with anything I could ever imagine needing. I also loved that fact that although there are other cabins on the property, the way they are situated, you have total privacy, which I love. Though all the cabins were occupied for the weekend, I actually didn't see another person the entire time I was there! I did see a flock of wild turkeys and much of my time in the front porch swing was spent enjoying the hard working chipmunk who lives under the front porch. I want to add that Mary handled my reservation and was very professional, yet warm and friendly. I'm going back in just a few weeks to stay in another one of the cabins, and I'm sure that won't be my last trip. This is a lovely, well-run establishment. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful retreat.

We stayed in "Pappy's" Cabin - it has a very welcoming front porch. The decor inside is beautifully done using a cowboy and Indian theme. And to go along with antler cabin theme, antlers are used in many creative ways throughout the cabin. The gas fireplace warms everything up very quickly. A spiral staircase takes you down to both bedrooms and a bathroom. The downside, to using the fireplace is that it effects the thermostat and then the downstairs bedrooms get cold. The access to the hot tub is from a sidewalk on the outside, or through the bedrooms. Sitting in the hot tub is a wonderful way to watch the sunrise. We were here in December, so the leaves were off of the trees. Directly above the hot tub is a nice covered deck. There is an outdoor grill, it is off of the front porch. The kitchen(nicely stocked with all utensils), eating area and the living space is cozy and very nice to play a game or just snuggle up and watch a t.v. show.(cable is available, but no wifi)One word of caution, the GPS does not direct you to the location of the cabin. So please make sure to follow the directions given to you by the property owners. Also, the beds are small, and not the most comfortable. As nicely done as everything else is, this was a little disappointing(hence 4 stars out of 5). Everything is very clean. If you plan on eating here, which we did almost every meal, plan well what you want to eat and bring items with you, as the location requires 20-25 minute drive to Walmart or any other main retail store to purchase food items. Which isn't a problem unless you forget something. We had a wonderful time. We highly recommend this place.

My husband and I stayed in the Angler's Cabin and I cannot say enough good about this place. It has its own private pond and paddle boat. The view is stunning. The cabin is clean and super comfy. This is the most relaxing vacation I have ever taken.

We stayed at Appalachian Cabin. If you want to feel like you are at home and not on vacation, this place is for you! It's not a cabin - it's a manufactured home. The view in front of the house is a huge water tower. I have stayed in many cabins in my lifetime and I have never had to pay $25 a night for each person over 2 people. Nor have I had to strip the beds and unload the dishwasher. Lastly, on the second day of our stay, we received a note on the door saying that the cleaning lady saw us walking our dog and that we were going to be charged $250 for breach of contract. We did not have a dog and they should have knocked on our door instead of assuming things. We are on vacation, I want to feel like I'm on vacation, not at home with household chores and nosy neighbors. We felt like we were being watched the rest of our stay. It was uncomfortable. The positive about this place is that the back yard is wooded and we saw lots of wildlife and the quality of the linens and kitchen items were very nice. However, I won't be doing business with them again.

We arrived late in the afternoon on Sunday to the Antler Cabin. My girlfriend and I were planning to get away for 3 days to work remotely, hike and just be in a quiet environment for a few days. When we arrived at the cabin, it was the first time we realized there was no wifi/internet. This was not advertised on the website. It was never mentioned in any phone calls we had. It was not on any paperwork we received or signed. This cabin costs $300 per night. This is not an "off the grid" situation. This is expensive and something as simple as WIFI should have been a basic service/amenity provided for this kind of money. We had directtv with 700 channels we could care less about. Why wifi/internet was unavailable nor mentioned at any point along the way was confounding to us for this kind of expenditure. Needless to say, we had no choice but to leave the next morning. When we called Mary, we sought two remedies. First, could we move to a different cabin with WIFI available (none were available but we were willing to pack up, stay on the property, and keep our money and goodwill with this vendor). No other cabins were available. So we asked for a refund of one night. This was denied and Mary's answer was that we should have asked about WIFI when we signed up for this experience. In other words, there was not shared responsibility that Antler Log Cabins could have also ADVERTISED this clearly or said something themselves when we signed up or during the couple of phone calls we had along the way. It's a beautiful cabin. A beautiful property. But once they have your money and you feel misled or less than satisfied in any way, good luck working with Mary and her team for any kind of fairness in the transaction.

It was private and secluded. We enjoyed our stay but we sadly didn't get any snow while we were there over the new year. The cabin was clean and well maintained. The mattress was not super comfortable but we still used it.Because we went to the grocery store on day one we were able to utilize their kitchen supplies to make our lunch, breakfast and dinner the rest of the time we were there. It finally started to snow as we were packing up.

We had an amazing time! Sweet romantic wedding and a relaxing and peaceful honeymoon. The cabin and grounds were beautiful and perfect! We were married on the front porch over looking the water. Bridgett was the most pleasant lady and made sure that we were taken care of and performed the perfect ceremony. Just what we wanted. This place goes out of there way to make sure you have the perfect getaway. Highly recommend. Can't wait to go back for our anniversary. Thank you so much for the most memorable time

Beautiful cabin (Aspen Leaf)! Very well taken care of, cute, clean. Loved the hot tub. However, there are snakes that live right outside the front door. Also the website is a bit misleading... the pond with the row boat is not within walking distance of the cabin... it’s quite a ways down the road and you must have 4 wheel drive to get there... Also there’s NO WiFi and we had terrible cell coverage there (T-Mobile) so beware. Also DoorDash does not deliver there so plan accordingly. We did have a great relaxing getaway though, despite these small issues. The cabin is about half way between Bloomington and Nashville.

Beautiful and perfect. Cabins very well kept and stocked with essentials. Spent hours fishing the pond, fish caught about 20 times (no catfish). If you don't have a reservation, don't drive thru, park at an occupied cabin "to check the place out" and disturb guests. It's just rude, and no fault of the owner's but rather a past guest giving the address to someone. We have no complaints other than that.

A Best Friend Trip! A beautiful cabin in the woods (tranquility cabin) decorated to perfection. Private hot tub off back deck, saw deer while in it. I would recommend to anyone. These cabins are First Class!!!

I still have fond memories of our quaint, Grandpa's Cabin. My husband surprised me on our 10 year anniversary back in January. I'm usually freaked out about staying at places away from home for fear of bed bugs, etc. I'm the first to always check the bed as soon as I go in a place. Our cabin was pristine and the hot tub was clean and in great shape. They had the cutest decor for the place with even the smallest detail, like antler handles for the cabinets and a trash can in the shape of a log. We stayed for 2 nights and it was just a wonderful time. The lady who owned the place was so pleasant when we called her to tell her that we left our food in the microwave and locked ourselves out. We didn't need the food. We just wanted to give her a head's up, but she was kind enough to offer to come down and open it up for us as we were leaving. We highly recommend these cabins!
