I have had mixed results with Save-a-Lot stores but I had to go in to see the place. I was pleased to see that they have an Amish baking section. Which makes sense as most of the customers in there were Amish. I get all my baking supplies from Amish grocery stores, usually around Rockville, since they have the best products at the best prices. I bought some of the flour I use the most since I was low and not planning to be in Rockville on a business day any time soon. The price was really reasonable price and was out of there in a flash. Will shop there again when in the area.

This is a nice clean store, with wide aisles. There is fresh produce, a huge selection of fresh and processed meats. There are some deli products located with the processed meat section. There is a large frozen food section as well. They have the basics and a few extras to be able to fill your freezer, fridge, and pantry. It's nice to be able to buy what I need locally, and not have to drive out of Topeka to the huge supermarkets. The prices are very close to the larger supermarket prices. The few items that may cost a few cents more are still less expensive than the gas, wear and tear on your vehicle, and the time it takes to drive to and from the closest *supercenter*.UPDATE: I have come to have a love/ hate relationship with the produce section. Once in a while, the produce can be wilted or molded. I don't know if it is how it has been stored before it gets put on the shelves or what the issue is. Other times the produce can be very good. It's kind of a hit or miss at this store. Sometimes they will have everything they regularly sell, plus some new items. Other times they will be out of a few produce items.

Nice selection of food for a small town grocery. Prices weren't terribleFirst try at fresh meat so that's for later. However, this is mostly frequented by Amish and despite big signs requiring facemasks, NO ONE was wearing one, just the employees. Won't be going back.

the fact that our county as well as our state has a mandatory mask mandate this store caters to the Amish who do not want to wear masks and despite the fact that their website says masks required they have taken down all their signs and not even their employees are wearing masks anymore i would rather drive the 20 miles out of town to do my grocery shopping and know that I am safe and protected then go to a store who really have no concern for their customers and their safety even the County Health Department website says that we are still under a mandatory mask mandate I will not return to this location until all this is over

Frustrating that Saturday night 6 p.m. the doors are locked. Hours in the window and on the wedsite say open until 8:00. Lights are on, employee inside but doors locked. Just in the last few minutes about 10 people have showed up then left.

The best place to find meat that is tender and not overpriced. Even though I live in the Fort it is worth the drive! I shop there habitually. They sack your groceries and they take credit cards.

This store's shelves always seem to be well stocked, and the prices are good. I like going here too because I can always get a good parking space & get through the checkout a lot quicker than Walmart or Meijer up in Sturgis.

Wasn't very happy tonight! Young kid was cashier and when asked a question about a particular item he was clueless and never asked anyone either...not sure where they find some if their help but a bit more knowledge of your store would be nice.🙄🙄

It's a decent place with an assortment of goods. Some of them local which is nice. The downside is it's not that much cheaper than competition

I like the place.the meat is a little pricey Well stocked though.i would give it 5 stars If they would have some non-GMO stuff or organic stuff...pls get some

Many common things are overpriced, and produce is lackluster to say the least. Better off making the haul to Meijer or somewhere else for good fresh food.
