This place is a little bit pricey for some outsource services. But the staff are very polite and empathetic. I would absolutely recommend. They have worked with us by cutting the price. And trying different things to help prolong life for our fur baby.

The best vet clinic in the area. The doctors have fantastic bedside manner and are proficient when it comes to diagnostics and treatment. The vet techs and office workers are all incredibly kind and help create a calm, welcoming environment for your animals. Had an absolutely terrible experience today. I made an appointment last week to get my two cats in to get their updates shots and wellness checks. Both my boyfriend and I had to work today, so they let us do a drop off appointment. We dropped them off at 7:30 this morning. I had asked if they knew when they would be done, as I was taking my lunch at 11, and they said there was only one doctor in today, so they couldn’t give me an absolute answer. I totally understood that. I waited all day to get a phone call and never got one. 10 minutes before I got off work (3:50 pm) I called to see if they would be ready to pick up at 4. They put me on hold for a few minutes and then said that they had a few emergencies come in and that there was one more appointment and then they would get them done and that I could go ahead and head that way. So I came in at 4:10 to pick them up. I got them home and they were drenched in their own urine and had feces all in their carriers. It looked like they hadn’t been taken out of their carriers all day and sounded like they had forgotten they were even there. I am very disappointed in the service I got today and they will not be coming back to this vets office.

I’m shocked at the horrible treatment we received from this place. My pup wasn’t feeling well and so I decided to call and make an appointment. Nope! They couldn’t care less and the soonest they could see him was months out. After begging for them to see him and them offering zero solution we called another vet, who OF COURSE saw him almost immediately. Guess what? HE HAD A HORRIBLE EAR ACHE IN BOTH EARS. What condition would my BEST FRIEND be in if I woulda waited 3 months for this horrible place to find the time!?!? They were probably hoping for it to get worse so they could suck more money out of me. The way the front desk spoke to me, with absolutely zero concern, assured me that I will NEVER return and I’m telling EVERYONE. People’s pets mean a lot to them! Act like you care or get outta the business. Shame on you animal hospital. SHAME.

They saved our aussie pup's life. I'm forever thankful for everyone there. After an emergency trip to indy over the weekend we were told our aussie had a 25% chance of surving parvo. I brought him home at 2am with an iv and cathedar in place praying i would be able to find a local vet in the am if he survived the night... they worked us right in when NO ONE else would that morning. He was hospitalized for a few nights, still unsure if he would pull through. They kept us updated multiple times a day and nursed our baby boy back to health. Sure enough day #3 he had a total turnaround and got to come home on our son's 1st birthday. I will forever take all of my pets here. Thank you to all of the staff that we got to meet and helped bring Benny back home to us. He is back to his wild crazy self chasing the kids around thanks to you

My lab has gone there since he was born 18 mo. ago. I try to get him in to see the vet I think he has an ear infection or something is wrong .They informed me it would be two mo. before they would see him. I informed them he could die by then they seem heartless.I ask if they ever had emergency’s they said it would be two mo. I informed them We WOULD never be back . They did not care. I called brown they were so understanding and I got us appointment immediately.We all love our dogs take my advice do not take them to the animal hospital!!!

We were enroute in our motorhome from California to Pennsylvania, when our little elderly Yorkie, Abbi, became very ill. It was very late in the day as we approached Terre Haute so my wife started calling Vets to see if we could be seen. Wabash Valley Animal Hospital was the only ones willing to squeeze us in. They were extremely helpful and caring but unfortunately little Abbi passed on. There is and will always be a very special place in Heaven for the Doctors and staff. Thank You

I left this review 2 years ago but i wanted to update with this current visit.Mistakenly, I brought my cat in a week early for his grooming and vaccinations. Instead of turning me away, they still accepted him and said they would TRY to get him in. Even if they don't get the chance (I just dropped him off!) I appreciate that they still made an attempt to help us. This is the only vet in Terre Haute I would bring my animals to!

It was our first visit to this facility and it was a great experience! The staff is very nice and professional! Dr. Weaver was very knowledgeable and informative. The prices for vaccinations and the check-up were reasonable. I will definitely continue to take my dog here.

My husband and I visited this hospital before bringing our dog for care. The entire staff was pleasant and very helpful as to what was needed for Velvet. They specifically moved our appointment up by almost two weeks due to the care Velvet needed. When she arrived home she was happy and squeaky clean. We were very pleased of the care and TLC that Velvet received. Thanks to all of the staff and veterinarians who made Velvet's visit awesome!!!

This place is a breath of fresh air. This was my first visit with them as I just switched from my vet clinic that i have been going to for 10 years. To say i am picky and particular is an understatement and not only did the meet my expectations, they SURPASSED THEM. Dr. Busenbark is nothing short of amazing. He cares, he listened to me and all of my 800 concerns and answered all my 200 questions lbvs im so thankful today and I truly cannot express my gratitude. Thank you all SO MUCH. We thought this Vet was going to be the Answer for Us when we moved, but found them to Not be Loving, Caring for our Fur-babies, We had a Financial Problem for a few months, They told us They cannot Help Us.& that they don’t care, They Hurt our Dogs the few times they were cared for, They Refuse to help, $$$$ is all they care for, They put Wabash Valley animal Hospital don’t like to do financing for their customers they say too many paper work in 2015 because of the staff’s mainly at the front desk.Everything else over the Animals, Thanks We Found a Vet that CARES, LOVES, is Considerated over All the Animals they care for, They Work with Anyone who has Financial Problems, THEY LOVE ALL THIRE FUR BABIES, and Human CLIENTS. from June 2013 to cannot remember the month we left but remember the year 2015 now animals are having good time with them new Doctor since 2015

Awesome COVID precautions, picked my dog up right from the car. Super great with my dog. He had a blast. I was encouraged to talk to the vet about my own concerns so that I wouldn’t have to feel left out during the checkup.

We started going here close to 30 years ago. The original vets are retired but they've left the practice in dependable hands. They're always friendly and have taken good care of all my animals, cats and dogs. I don't think they have a groomer anymore or at least at the moment.

Love this place. My dogs are always super happy to go to the vet. The employees and vets spoil the dogs during their visits with love and treats. They saved my dog Lucy's life after a dog attack. Another one of my dogs passed away, after I let them know they donated money to the veterinarian program in his honor. We are so happy to have found a place that treats my furbabies as well as they do.

We were really concerned.The weather was warming up. Things were greening. Bugs were appearing. We were out of our dogs's monthly Interceptor. Wasn't sure if the vets office was open. It was!!! Told the very efficient, calm lady in the phone what we needed. Had it waiting for us the same day.No parasites hurting our babies during this pandemic is a HUGE relief. Thank you!

If you want the best care possible for your pet, this is the place to go. The staff is absolutely wonderful!!! Dr Pickering has been my veterinarian for many years. He has went above and beyond many times for my animals. Dr. Jones did ACL surgery on my Sammy 2 years ago & he's still walking perfect. They are both so caring & understand your fear during an emergency w/your animal. I highly recommend Wabash Valley Animal Hospital. Always remember, if you have to wait a few extra minutes they are giving the best care to another animal. Someday it may be you that needs that extra few minutes...

We've been very happy here! My family originally used to go to Heritage, but they've gotten a little too big it seems and it feels like an assembly line there. This place solved our dogs allergy problems within a few months - with Heritage they just kept giving us Apoquel which basically did nothing (and had behavior side effects). Wabash Valley put our dog on Cytopoint and it worked amazing. Also, they did blood allergy testing, and have our dog on a 6 month injection plan to eliminate the allergy issue completely. Yes, it's expensive - but chances our your dog is like a family member, so it's worth it!
