Fantastic experience from start to finish! I have searched all over town trying to find the exact color and size carpet for an odd sized room I have in my new house.Soon as I walked in I was greeted and they treated me kindly. They actually had exactly what I wanted, and although we had to order the color in, it was there within just a few days!It now looks absolutely fantastic and I'm very satisfied! If I had friends, I'd send them there. But no one thinks I'm cool, so unfortunately I'm the only one currently in the "Smiddy's Carpet Fan Club". Lol

I called to ask someone to remove my old carpet and take it away. (We had carpeted our whole house from them many years ago). The guy said “ well are you going to buy carpet from us?”I said not right now and he laughed at me. He said we will get back with you if I can find someone who is interested.” They never did call. Really?? Turning down work? The ad on TV claims great customer service. I disagree.When I do decide to carpet my home it WON’T be from Smiddy!

Don't ever hire this company the owner will tell you one thing and do another he had a couple young kids come in here and do this job and one of them's girlfriend showed up at my house and just walked in the front door didn't knock or announce themselves they just walked in the front door like they lived here like I said don't hire this company, they're extremely rude and very unprofessional. What does did this job almost a year ago and I'm still finding things wrong and the quarter round that they put around the floor is coming up coming away from the floor, they weren't experienced enough to know to use longer nails they use two short nails and the trim is coming away from the wall, the owner ought to be ashamed of himself to allow unexperienced children going to people's houses and do this kind of work

Great knowledge of flooring, my problem was Tday to close to get needs shipped. Had to go on road trip, still to Colortile, for materials.Fully recommend this Company for your needs. I bought at Limb low, BIG mistake., not layable. Colortile laid excellent on my floors.

They were the best. The three young men that did my hardwood floors were the best. They were on time, fast and not messing around. I didn't even hear much talking going on. Each new his job and they worked together fast. The part I like the best is they played Christian music on the radio they brought. That to me says a lot. Broken promises, missed deadlines, poor to no communication. Given install date, installer called in and said they couldn't install until next week Tuesday. Didn't show up Tuesday and are now going to come Saturday... never an apology, no ownership of the problem. Just excuses. Sad because we used them before.

DOWN RIGHT NIGHTMARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The crew that came, Jason (the supervisor), RUINED MY HOME. He thought he was a plumber, after damaging plumbing when he and his VERY UNPROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEES put flooring in my bathroom. Jason pulled up blasting music on maximum volume in a van, stayed parked in my drive way with it so loud we could hear it inside. Was on his phone the entire time. He dropped off two guys and forgot to give them their tools to do the job and didn't come back for FOUR HOURS. The guys just sat on my porch for FOUR hours waiting on him to come back with a saw & blades so they could even start. I had to let them use some of my tools to do little things while waiting for Jason to return so they could actually start their job. On top of the worst service ever, they all cursed repeatedly in front of my children and specifically talked about being in "prison" all while standing in my hallway between my kids' bedrooms where the bathroom is. It took them almost a MONTH to repair a very tiny bathroom. I could go on and on.. but I will do you all a favor and just tell you to NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! YOU COULD DO IT YOURSELF BETTER THAN THESE PEOPLE. *disclaimer- Apparently I've been told they hire out contractors to do jobs & Jason is his own crew.. Not directly connected to Smiddy's???* Either way, PROCEED WITH CAUTION!!!!!!!

Not a great place to work with. Dan talks out of both sides of his mouth. Lies galore. I need 4 more rooms of carpet. Won’t be them. Sad when you can’t support the family business. I guess they don’t care.
