Visited for the very first time yesterday and I just have to say this puts any other place that sells custard to shame. Service was amazing! I don't know the young man who waited on me and my family, but he deserves an atta-boy because he let me add mallow creme to my treat and I can tell you it was heaven.Plenty of outdoor seating.They offer 0 sugar custard.Have social distancing measures for waiting in line at the counter.Prices were reasonable for quality custard.Kid and pet friendly.They do have some construction going on the road near them. Navigate carefully.This place is worth it.

Always great to visit our daughter on Father's Day at Ritter's. They have the best sweet treats. We got the Mud Sundae, brownie sundae, oreo glacier. All delicious.

I was riding with a friend today and they thought it was a good idea to stop in and try a frozen custard. I got a chocolate fudge Sunday with nuts and whipped cream. It was good but the flavor didn't come to life like a dairy queen hot fudge Sunday would have. I know I know, yogurt.

Very disappointed! I look forward to coming here when I visit my parents but the last few times have been very disappointing. I love the black raspberry glacier and they haven’t had it and today we had red raspberry. It was like eating a cup of seeds. It had very little flavor and no fruit but plenty of seeds. Absolutely won’t be back!!!

Mint chocolate chip glacier is superb!! Tastes like a peppermint patty. Italian ice is also a great treat that is a little different. The prices are reasonable and you get quality product. They are always busy so you know they are a great place to go!

Probably my favorite place to get ice cream in town. So creamy and the staff is always very pleasant. Don't think I have ever had a bad experience there. They just need to have the NY Cherry Cheesecake flavor on the menu more often, :)

We love this place for a summer treat. The outdoor seating is so nice while you eat your frozen custard. The price is comparable with other ice cream or frozen yogurt parlors in town, so it's probably not the cheapest option. But the flavor and quality definitely shows the price, and they don't need gimmicks or toppings to enhance the quality of their treat. Extra bonus, they have a little drive thru in case you're on the go.

Love this place. Definitely a favorite! On my recent visit, I did have a boy yell BYE ELIJAH (or maybe Eliza) at me though I was clearly by myself and no one else nearby. I checked the mirror to make sure I didn't spontaneously have a half inch gap between my two front teeth, causing him to mistake me for Elijah Wood, but I didn't see anything. I also checked my passenger seat and window; perhaps an Elijah was now riding shotgun or staring in my window. After not finding Elijah, I just left them with an obviously confused expression as quickly as possible.

This is one of those places that does it right. I'm out of town from St. Louis, MO, home of Ted Drew's Frozen Custard, and I worked three years at Bobby's Frozen Custard in Maryville, Illinois. Ritter's has chocolate custard that is darker and much richer than the two aforementioned custard shoppes. So, I asked if they could make a good German Chocolate blended treat. Sure enough, the richer and darker chocolate custard mixed with pecans, coconut, and caramel made on e of my favorite German Chocolates ever. Very well done, super polite and accommodating staff. If you are in Tere Haute and need a custard fix, I highly recommend Ritter's!!!

My husband and I are not from Terre Haute, but we stop at Ritters every time we drive there to see our grandchildren. We have not gotten one thing we didnt like. They have the craziest, best tasting custard around.
