I would just like to preface this review with: I VERY RARELY bother to write reviews for stores.I really can't say enough about my absolutely stellar customer experiences shopping at the Pet Valu on Wabash! I first started coming here with my puppy solely because it was close to home. Now that I have moved further away... I still keep coming back. I will never shop at another pet store. Especially as long as Cameron is working this store. The staff is always super friendly (to our fur baby and my family) and excited when I bring my dog in. They're incredibly knowledgeable and have given countless tips, advice, and recommendations. They're always going the extra mile to help you out whenever they can. I would give this store and the staff 10 stars if I could! They have gained a life long customer.

I am rating based on my grooming experience. I wish I could post the before and after. Angie did such an amazing job for a good price. I just got a rescue dog and his hair looked somewhat matted and uneven. All it took was a good bath and some TLC from Angie to restore his beautiful coat and make him smell so much better! I will absolutely be back to Pet Valu!!

I called a few months ago to ask about stock on muzzles because I wanted to come look at them. Instead of answering my question the employee drilled me about how abusive they are to animals. I'm 110% about animal rights and my dogs are my babies. We were simply looking at a last option alternative for an issue we were having.Then today I went in and staff stared me down because I was carrying groceries from my purchase next door and hadn't gone to the car yet. I wanted to price cat trees. There were two or three employees but no one would assist me or speak to me. I stood for a while but they all stood in a huddle talking about the weekend and who was off work. I eventually left without finding out any prices.I'm done trying with this store.

Im not 1 to post reviews but I've never been treated so poorly for just trying to be a customer. The company institutes policy that restricts free movement it doesn't allow a number of people above 2 to be in their store at any time, which as we all know doesn't help prevent the spread of a virus which is why they said they're doing the new policy. . Upon entering their store I was immediately yelled at to leave their store because it was company policy. I then went next door, did my shopping there, and then called the store to inform them that I would never return for their lack of respect. People, wake up and don't shop at places that don't support your Constitution. Besides there's many more economical choices of places that you could shop for your needs rather than this place. Prices are way too expensive for everything ive shopped for in there .I'm one who doesn't deal with being disrespected so i implore others to find a local business and shop there. Im done with these kind of people.

Wouldn't let me wash my dog who doesn't have fleas because when asked what soap I wanted I asked if there was a flea and tick prevention one. I've washed here weekly but I guess not anymore if asking about soap gets me banned.

I recommend having employees that are knowledgeable enough to answer questions about product you sell. Asked what the best joint support, he said up to you in what you like. Huh!? Give suggestions and why they are good! Employe informative people!!

STELLA AND CHEWYS MAKES A KIBBLE!!! mind blown. Friendly, helpful staff, donates to rescue organizations, dog wash on site, carries all the food I look for. Acana, instinct, merrick, stella & chewys; this, leashes, treats, dehydrated raw... great place and conveniently located next to Kroger where I end up 4 days a week.

Worst customer service. Spent over 100.00 in dog food found out it was spoiled they refused to make it right straight up called us a liar and said we was trying to scam them. We offered to bring the other food back even offered to bring it two hours away the district manager and store manager refuses to do anything about it.
