Ok! So we spent $13,700.00 on Klearvue kitchen and bathroom cabinets! The girl who initially sold them to us made it sound easy peasy. Please know that it absolutely is not! We were told it was a 99.00 delivery fee. Paid everything. We get a call from Menards that we were quoted wrong and delivery fee is $350.00 and the cabinet person should not have quoted us a fee. So I pay delivery fee because at this point I feel like I have no choice because product is being held hostage. They give a 20 minute heads up they are coming, husband leaves work but the dropped everything on the front porch. You could not make it to the front door to get into the house. Contacted Menards and the guy we spoke with basically said to bad! Called 2nd time to speak to manager and he wasn’t working called again and he was not there! Husband proceeds to go to Menards and talk to him and nothing! Never received the countertops because apparently you have to approve them which nobody ever mentioned, had no idea about this step. My frustration is that we liked Menards and enjoyed going but after this and never receiving a call back from all the messages to correct it I am beyond frustrated. Just know that this cabinetry comes in a separate box for every cupboard piece, screw, hinge etc it is a TON of work!!

Had a very frustrating problem. We bought nearly $3000 of flooring from Menards and upon opening the boxes, discovered almost half of it was damaged. When I called, got a hold of Taylor at the front end and she was wonderful! She had the flooring dept get a pallet of new flooring together and was prepared to make the exchange for me and give me 11% rebate for the hassle. While processing this exchange, Tyler (another front end manager) came up and wanted to grill me with dumb questions about how this happened, how we discovered it and wanted to inspect the damages (without lifting a finger to actually look at the damages). I told him exactly what happened, instead of keeping the flooring on 3 pallets like we were told, your people stacked it all on one pallet and barely wrapped it. We pulled out of pick up yard and the whole pallet collapsed and we had to spend over an hour restacking it. Your lack of care damaged it. And instead of just letting Taylor fix it, you want to come up to me and grill me like I want to haul 2700 pounds of flooring around for fun. Tyler, you should be grateful that you have someone like Taylor around to make up for your short comings and keep the customers happy.

Great store, well organized, and clean. The staff were plentiful and willing to help. We purchased a giant fireplace and the staff not only loaded our cart but loaded our truck as well. The prices are good and they have a great selection of products.

The coolest , most original artwork I’ve seen anywhere. They print their art on anything and if you buy the original artwork you get it printed on a shirt for the cost of production which is a fantastic idea I feel. I highly recommend this place for anyone interested in getting themselves or their loved ones something unique and incredibly awesome.

Love the new store..clean, very nice staff if your wearing your mask, lots of great buys. Love this place. Update...mask police 4/10/2021. Still have to wear a mask. Ugh. They will follow you around if not wearing the mask.

Horrible company. Their entire business policy revolves around screwing over customers and making anything other than buying stuff from them unnecessarily difficult. If you have any other option shop somewhere else. Go to Lowe's. They may not be great but they don't try to stick it to you anytime something isn't for their benefit.

Went to this store for dog food Friday. Picked up a bag of purina pro plan beef and rice. There were black bugs all over the bag. Not the first time this has happened. I bought food a few months ago and it had bugs and worms in it. I brought it back and was refunded but the manager didn't seem concerned at the time.

All I wanted was to purchase a new full propane tank. First I am sent all the way across the store to purchase an empty tank, go to check out the second time, send outside to have it filled, there's no one there working to fill said tank, walk across the parking lot back into the store to find someone to fill my tank, wait for the filler to come out, was told my tank was defective and that I would have to walk back into the store and return it and get a new one. REALLY, you can't make this stuff up. I walk by backyard in the store exchange the tank walk back across the parking lot to get it filled. I won't be using Menards for this again.

Be VERY VERY careful when you buy an appliance from Menards in Terre Haute. Once the appliance leaves their store they have NOTHING to do with the delivery..100% out of their hands. This information came from the store manager. Buy your appliances elsewhere because once it's sold it goes into the hands of Wilson Delivery! There will be another review on Wilson Delivery to follow. The most unprofessional owner I have ever spoke with. Just save yourself some time and stress and buy appliances from someone who cares!! Actually can not leave a review on Wilson Delivery so I'll leave it here. The young man that answered the phone, the owner, was one the most unprofessional people I have ever spoken to. Very insulting and kept interrupting. Be careful they may just not care about the elderly and doing a job well done! I'll leave it at that because they'll create their own negative business on their own accord. Shame on you menards for not caring and having an extremely rude uncaring delivery company delivering your appliances!! Buy elsewhere please!

I bought a Schlage front door deadbolt replacement at another store that was keyed incorrectly. I took it to the contractors desk to inquire on getting it corrected. The gal that waited in us handled rekeying it in minutes. Very. VERY impressed!! Thank you

I bought a Maytag washers Aug,8 2023 having not working today September 12 th.called Menards was told older than 7 days store warranty no good . Told to call Ace washer in terre haute they do warranty work .Ace said if I didn't buy there won't work on it..I totally understand. .I called Menards back was told not their problem to call maytag..I called Maytag which is owned by Whirlpool. .now going through red tape to find company near Sullivan indiana to do warranty work..I have a brand new $800.piece of junk while my wife wrings clothing out by hand...not going back to Menards in Terre Haute.

Samantha was extremely helpful! She took the time to help me find just the right color paint for my remodel and even explained the differences in the different finishes. Highly recommend this paint department if they keep such awesome help.

This is a newer store, but the staff is well-trained and friendly. I had no problem finding any help I needed, but at the same time the employees weren't "hovering" or trying to angle for a sale.I last shopped there with my parents, and the selection of holiday materials was excellent.However, while I appreciate that the store is very accessible, I would recommend that there would be some way to assist older customers with returning the powered scooters to the store from the parking lot. My father is 79, and he often uses one of the complementary scooters to help him shop, but after he returns to his vehicle there's no place to safely leave it.

We've been working on a big project and have visited the south Menards on numerous occasions. Every time we have received exceptional customer service. Want to make special mention for Erika that works the service desk area. She had to change a huge transaction on our ticket. This was time consuming and I'm sure she wanted to scream. She was amazing! Wanda in cabinets does an awesome job, as well.

Went in to purchase an artificial christmas tree (ugh), was shocked by the prices. They had a floor model of 1 of their Black Friday sale items, $100 off their retail price.....a pleasant associate, Caden, helped me in purchasing the floor model. The cashier was genuinely kind, the Customer Service Representatives were 0 and 5. All in all a pleasant experience. Would have given a 5, except they don't give a 10% Veteran discount like Lowe's, and honestly their prices are very similar even though the selection is often different when it comes to finer items (decorative/finishes).

I like my Menards, almost always has better prices than the big blue home improvement place. The 11% rebate adds even more(even it is store credit vs cash). Have never not found what I was looking for.

I love this store. Have tons of positive things to say. But instead will leave y'all with this one negative. And hope you really think about it. I'm pushing 400 lbs of concrete in a cart. Cross a lady going the other direction. Slide across the floor trying to prevent a collision. Hurt myself pretty bad stopping the cart. Y'all are lucky I'm 40 and can still heal. And not sue happy. Less wax on the floor! Looks aren't as important as safety! Y'all should know this!

Had to go in there for an item today. Now they don't even bag your items for you you have to do that yourself. It has been yrs since I have been in menard and don't plan on returning anytime soon.They don't make it easy to find anything there. Or to find help.

I noticed one review negatively commenting on the race of the General Manager. Absolutely unacceptable. The current GM as of the posting of this review is a fantastic leader and representative of the company. I have had the pleasure of knowing him and to read that comment about him is a disgrace.Nonetheless… Excellent service at Terre Haute South Menards.

Mask police instead of caring about customer service. My parents were inside not wearing masks, instead of approaching them and speaking to them first they announced that they were not wearing masks over the PA system. We will never return after this disrespectful incident. Lowe’s will be getting our business.

We love the location of the South Menards. In this Covid world we are all aware of how difficult it is to get some sort of customer service let alone good customer service. However, in the lighting department there is an exception. Jake D gave my wife and I the most exceptional customer service. He is always willing to help in any way possible. I have been in Menards multiple times and he consistently delivers the highest level of customer service, AND even though he's wearing a mask, you know it's with a smile.
