The staff in this Kroger are great! I recently went looking for a specific brand of jelly beans for my dad and they were extremely helpful, taking time to look for them wherever they could have been. With so many stores having staff who are not available or not interested in helping, it was great to have such terrific customer service!

They were out of regular sweet tea. Instead of stocking the Decaf stuff nobody buys, just stock more regular🤷🏼‍♀️

First time I ordered groceries for pickup (Fort Harrison), they substituted some of my items & rather than charging my EBT card, they charged my regular bank card for them. And there were quite a few substitutions. I did give them another chance bc they did credit my Kroger account for what they charged to the wrong card. Second time around (25th & Wabash), I get there to pick up my groceries & the pickup spots are hardly marked at all. So in the dark, with the very inadequate amount of lighting that they have in their parking lot, we drove around for 5 minutes & finally had to call before we could find the pickup spot. Then I couldn't log into their app to pick up my groceries. Not even from the text that they had sent me. It kept telling me there was a portal error. So I had to call back. I don't know if you've ever tried to get past the Kroger robot but it's almost impossible. She asks the same questions 300 times & when you say you'd like a person she says oh but I can help you. No you can't, robot lady. We've established this on the repetitive roller coaster ride of the past 5 minutes. On top of all that, their coupons usually only take the price down to what it is normally at other stores. Sometimes their deals r really good with the app coupons. But it's a pain to hafta clip em. And if u buy other stuff, you end up spending what you saved on their inflated prices for those items.

I shop at Kroger's practically every single day. The one thing I afore about Kroger's is their hot bar. Lynch time when you the your break, go to Kroger's for Fried Chicken, Mac and Cheese, green beans; seasoned that is plus a whole lot more. Let's not forget about there cold meats cut to perfection.

They put in two more rows of self-serve checkouts... They don't use all the self-serve checkouts at any given time they only use the new ones when the old ones are broken down.. I am not a fan of self-service checkouts in a grocery store. When you have a large basket of groceries it is very difficult to bag the stuff without needing help for some reason or another. You won't know how to check out a certain vegetable that you want to buy or they have to come give you a scan to prove you 21 to buy alcohol. Makes me very upset to wait for 15 minutes to do a self-checkout and then need assistance.

They don't have as many selections (shelved foods and deli options) as the Kroger I used to shop at in Indianapolis/Greenwood off County Line Rd., BUT the staff are always nice, and checkouts are quick and easy.

Was very displeased. This was always my favorite place to shop. I became injured and I now need to use the electric carts. Every time I go, the carts are dead. Friday morning all the carts were dead. They opened at 7 Am and the carts were dead by 11. I truly wish i could shop there like I use to. I wish they would acquire new carts.

Kroger in Kroger Plaza in East side Terre Haute is one of my favorite places to shop! Use the Kroger App and clip any coupons or cash back coupons that apply to your shopping list! Really handy! Plus, you gotta love the fuel points!!

Heads Up: Just bought some fried chicken from the deli department at the Wabash Ave. store. It was in a heated case and the top was all steamed up so you couldn't see the chicken itself. When I got home and opened it there were about a half dozen very LIVE flies enjoying the chicken. Won't EVER make that mistake again. I called the deli department and got a lot of "hmmmm, wow, sorry and an offer of my money back. Not interested! Speaks volumes about the cleanliness of their kitchen.

Very rude and have terrible customer service. Employees seem like they don't want to be there. I picked up an item and didn't realize there was no tag until I started checking out. Rather than trying to help me they couldn't see bothered and told me I had to go and get another one with a tag to scan. Now I would've been fine with this if I didn't watch them call someone to come bring a package of ice up to the self checkout for someone. I wasn't offered help once.

Shop there alot. Always have a good experience. And the ppl are very helpful.very clean and neat. The bakery has fresh food, the carts all worked well. The staff very friendly, and they are well organized. Location is very convenient for me. I always go to this store..

I quit shopping here years ago. I don't know why I ever went back. Digital coupons don't go to card. I called 800 number and they supposedly fixed it only they deleted my online account instead!!!! Store customer service is completely unhelpful!!!!! They wanted me to call up the 800 number again and the hold time was greater than 10 minutes!!!! I just wanted to but my groceries and go home to make lunch. I wasted my time and gas driving across town. I didn't get groceries. Called 800 number from home and the phone system disconnected me 3 times and when I did get a live person they were very difficult to hear and was disconnected again!!! Very clean. Nice aisle layout, all great products and prices displayed. Easy to get in and out of the store. I use Kroger for my grocery and pharmacy and have always been pleased with my options. We also participate in the fuel points program and are very proud of the money saved. Great program and great store.

This is ridiculous. Got to Kroger’s at 10:40PM to grab some dinner tonight and their doors were locked but they close at 11. That’s 20 minutes for me to grab a few TV dinners but no their employees tell me they’re closed but there was customers in there shopping coming out with bags of groceries. Then before I go to leave an elderly man walks up there and they tell him the same thing. How could you do that to your customers? That’s not right at all.

This store is dirty. The fuel points are worthless because Kroger has some of the highest gas prices in the city, you can find cheaper fuel even when you take off their points.

Did you know that when you are checking out and go to pay at the self checkout, and it says... "help is on the way" when you didn't ask for help it's because it or someone thinks you stole or are stealing something? Yeah, me either until tonight.1. I have no other choice but to use the self checkout thing. 2. I had once before opted to drive clear across town because there is ALWAYS an issue at this store.I could go on but I've said something before if you cared you'd do something. In fact you decided to close at night instead of remaining open 24 hours. I get it, i do. To a point. When you start insulting customers they stop coming.You should also have the person alerted that's working the self checkout that the register is telling the customer HELP is in the way, when in fact NO ONE is coming because the employee isn't told.Bye bye Kroger.I know nothing about customer service. No one ever listens to anything I say, yet I'm constantly saying I told you so.I will say that whoever was working it tonight, young girl, very nice, very positive, did a great job because they were busy, paging any available cashier to the front, no one came. She needs a raise. The man who usually works at night when i go in, has braids or dreds, needs a promotion also. Same when he's doing it. In fact I've left before when i see he's not there because I'm not dealing with it. It being whatever is going to go wrong, which is usually the help is on the way when i didn't ask for any yet I'm waiting for no one to come.

Not well laid out. Aisles are very crowded. Always product in carts deserted all over store. Christmas week at noon and there was only 2 actual check outs. The self checks are great but very unreliable and the self check clerk tends not to pay attention to the line. I love krogers. Best value for your dollar. But this is not the nicest store.

My daughter and I went there. We were going through an aisle where there was a cart. A guy said "You can't go through there." An African American lady went through right before we were going to go through there. They are very unfriendly and rude.

This Kroger store is hands down the best of the three in Terre Haute! Their Deli and Bakery are outstanding and the staff are extremely helpful and accommodating. They definitely are willing and do an awesome job!The store is very well kept with a great selection.

Kroger always has good sales going on. I like their produce and their meat. The deli has a nice variety and always fresh. Bakery is good too! Clean store and friendly and helpful folks makes it my first choice neighborhood grocery store.
