Ordered some wings from the restaurant. I tried not to complain, but they got worse as I progressed. They did comp me and only charged me for 6 wings instead of the 12 I ordered.

One of the people who stayed here during the power problem. Breakfast was pretty good and the room was cozy enough. Never realized how much honking there was on Wabash until we were trying to sleep. 😂 The office chair was a little stiff and that's where I spent most of my time... would've like a little softer.The service and attitude of the staff were absolutely outstanding. They are both down to earth and incredibly professional at the same time. I hope the hotel appreciates the winners they have sailing their ship.

The room was clean with fun artwork. My only [tedious] gripe was the toilet paper holders are behind you to the left of the toilets. Makes it hard to use just a little TP.The spa was out of order, but we plan to stay again in July. Lovely hotel with a helpful, friendly staff.

On October 11th, I made a reservation with Hilton Garden Inn in Terre Haute for November 11. When I received the confirmation, it had the arrival date of October 11 (wrong month). I called the hotel to change the reservation but they refused since the deadline to “cancel” was passed even before I made the reservation to start with.I called the Hilton main reservation line and explained what had happened to them but they said those decisions were made at the local hotel.I am stunned that Hilton has taken such a boneheaded and intractable stance on this. I travel to Terre Haute several times a year and I will never again stay at that hotel. Foolish and shortsighted.

They had toilet issues and had me plunge our toilet and then pick up the dirty towels for them and told me my mother and I could use a bathroom on the second floor(we were on the 4th floor.!)they would not refund our money and gave me the runaround . I will never stay here again. They said they had no maintenance people there on the weekend.

Staff are nice and hotel is clean (most important to me) but the breakfast buffet was awful: bread was stale, eggs watery, coffee cold. The restaurant/bar is closed on Sundays, and the fitness center and pool were closed. Also, there continues to be a lot of noise early in the morning from the supposedly completed renovation.

#seeyouinthehauteLost power at our home for four days 😔We had the privilege of checking in the Hilton Garden in Terre Haute. Tremendous experience. I had family visiting from out of town ( house guests) so I got them a room too. Took my dog Willie 💕. The hotels GM was all hands on deck (Erica ) from pouring coffee , front desk , running the sweeper you name it she was there !!! A historical storm 50,000 lost power . The hotel was at maximum capacity. Erica and her staff never wavered from the Hilton promise! Full service restaurant, bar! A a party it was ! Happy 4 th of July!

I was visiting my college, Indiana State University. The hotel is a block from the southern edge of campus.Staff is very friendly, helpful, and efficient. My only complaint is that parking is very limited.Rooms: Very clean and nice.Nearby activities: Many restaurants are nearby. The county historical museum is within walking distance.The ISU campus is also within walking distance.Food & drinks: The restaurant and bar are very good.

Very dissatisfied. We chose to stay here because we wanted to spend a little extra and do something nice for our family. First the room we booked online was not available. We needed a king with sofa bad and they did not have a king size with a sofa pull out like we needed with the kids yet it allowed the reservation online. Our room 322 had food in the fridge from lord knows how long and was dusty. I will never again stay at a Hilton and spend the extra money. This was not a good experience.

Very clean. Limited parking. The lobby area was very nice. Rooms were clean but a little dated. No masks are required at this time but are only recommended per hotel policy. Stay was solid, which is to be expected from a Hilton Garden Inn.

My wife & daughter stayed at this hotel a month ago and had good service by the staff. An issue with the room key with the inability to quickly fix this had caused them to switch rooms and gather there belongs later once the hotel maintenance department was able to gain access. The desk clerk stated she'd receive credit on her credit card after the stay. I checked this and no credit, so I called in to ask about the credit not being applied. Discussed this with the manager JORDAN. The manager stated that this didn't happen, not reported to management and no compensation will be applied. My family travelers here for sporting events held in the area. The HILTON will no longer get my business!!! Very disappointed....

Driving through back home and found this great location! I’ve passed through the town via highway multiple times not realizing this was the Indiana State University campus!It was late, so didn’t have a chance to enjoy any of the restaurants around the area.From the photos you can see part of the downtown core.The hotel had parking near by, so didn’t need to walk too far.Great service at check in and super clean rooms!

Located in downtown Terre Haute and convenient to the nearby convention center. This hotel is well maintained. I did remove a star because the walls here are very thin and you hear quite clearly everything your neighbor is doing, sadly. I almost took off two stars but fortunately my neighbors aren't doing anything more annoying than flushing the toilet which sounds like a waterfall running through the middle of the room.I may review the restaurant separately, I included pictures, it's really cute.Walkability: Easy walking distance to the convention center

Our room was booked on the day of stay. Nowhere on the website was remodeling or construction mentioned. Found that out on arrival but not a big deal on a weekend or so we thought. Our plan was a late night followed by sleeping in. Something my wife and I had not been able to do for the last three years. Our late-night was extended by a 1 AM fight outside, then 5 police cars, 2 ambulances, and 1 firetruck. No problem, we were sleeping in, then at 8AM the ceiling in our room started vibrating, as hammering, sawing. When my wife called the front desk, she was told is was noted on the website. When I went down to the desk, they could not find it on the website. Getting nowhere, I went back to the room where my wife was trying to shower but only scalding hot would come out the entire arc of the handle. If you could get it just right, it was ok until it went cold without warning then back to scalding. The room was clean and nice but that is about the only nice thing I have to say about our stay.

I have been staying here once a month during the school year for some time. I chose this place, even though it was more expensive, because of the Covid precautions. They no longer exist. The rooms are still nice. The staff is still great. To me it is mo longer worth the hefty price tag. I no longer feel safe bring my son who is too young to be vaccinated. I am sure others will like this hotel.

Very friendly staff. Waitress at restaurant was best service I ever had. The breakfast was excellent but we originally believed it was included. We had paid around $150 a night which was way over our budget. Then they wanted to charge extra. The bottles of water in the room are $2, unless you have a certain level of honors. The front desk told us they were included, but when I got home they had charged me for them. It took 2 phone calls to get it removed. The discrepancy over the free breakfast and bottles of water were definitely a minus after paying a high price.
