Depends on when you go in but for the most part the employees are pretty nice. But there are a couple girls in there that are just plain rude and just look at you with disgust if you ask a question before they'll answer as if you are bothering them terribly. Clean store. Well stocked.

Aisle's Of Messed Up Item'sAlmost Never Cleaned Up,Just Left Sloppy&Scattered Around.The Staff Are Obnoxious&Often Very Sarcastic&Rude To TheirCustomer's During Visit's Here On A Daily&Nightly Basis.The Owner's DGAF At All Otherwise They'd Fire The Entire Staff Crew&Start Over By Hiring Professional Staff That Are Friendly,A Crew Of Educated Professional's That Aren't Like All The Obnoxious& 'Child Like' Staff's That Work's Here Now That Often Need's A Good Sturdy Horse Whipping For Being A Horse's Arse.Wouldn't Recommend At All To Anyone That Enjoy's Dollar General Store Shopping.

I've been in this store 3 times and each time I had issues with the cashier's not following their own coupon policy. It is very frustrating when you want to save your family money ... plan a shopping trip and get to the register only to be hassled about coupons that are being used on the right products. It took three times but now I am definitely not going back.

This store is always a mess! They never seem to get their shipments off the carts and on the shelves. In fact pretty much all this year they have had them blocking the endcaps on the one aisle. Ridiculous! Take some pride in your store!

This Dollar General is very clean and organized. Most of the employees are helpful and courteous and seem fairly knowledgeable in each department of the store which is quite rare in chain stores with a high employee turn-over rate. The upper management could afford to polish up on those social skills a bit though.

Good place to buy cleaning supplies, toiletries, and canned goods. Their milk and egg prices can't be beat. Only negative is they're always out of sale items and milk unless you get there right after a delivery.

This Dollar General is lame. Although it's closest in proximity to my house I think I'll be traveling a little further to a different one. They never have AHYTHING in stock, there's always racks of items obstructing the aisles waiting to be stocked. Their staff is unfriendly and just up until recently I was followed around like a shoplifter everytime I visited the store.

This particular Dollar General is a disgrace. The exterior is littered with trash and the interior isn't much better. The shelves are sparsely stocked and the aisles are cluttered with stacks of boxes, (inventory that is supposed to be on the shelves), making it sometimes impossible to even get through. Not to mention, half the employees are incompetent. On a "Now Hiring" sign they posted, associate was misspelled with one "s." Avoid this store if at all possible

This lady Charlene was very unprofessional acted very aggitated with me because i have a disability so i move really slow...counting my money she told me to hurry up she has other customers ...i have had i disability since i was 6 years old and i but i not stupid what she called me when i left i reported her to my kenndy krieger center her need to be fired because if she have some one with disabilty in her family she would be more nice i gonna let mayor nkno this too

I found what i needed easily. Store was well stocked. The cashier Amy was more than helpful and polite even though she 2as in the middle of stocking the shelves at the time.

For what Dollar Generals are, which is a convenient, expensive place to buy cheap items, this one is a good example of what it should be.This DG is clean, the staff is not scary. The layout is similar to every other DG out there. I really just come here for occasional junk food runs so I dont have to go all the way to Kroger. It is also nice that all of the calorie laden foods are put close together, with no pesky vegetables or fruits to distract me from my mission.

I love this store. Employees are so helpful. Its clean. Rest of them are dirty and employees don't ask if they can help you. The store at 7 & margaret in terre haute. Employees are usually outside smoking and tell u they will be in there in a few min. Id no body else is in the store.

This is one of the nicer, more organized DG's in town. Employees are nice and helpful. The clearance and $1 sections are what I base my ratings on, And customer service for the most part.

I love D G!! BUT Boo to corporate. Stocking is for pm or overnight shifts!! Every time I go, 3 er, more x a week I am subject to not being able to get what I need or get to what I need to do to a cart full of stock. And a little sad to see an overworked pregnant manager in midst of Bubonic Plauge #2. An THIS GIRL WORKS HER TAILFEATHERS TO THE BONE AND WITH PROFESSIONSLISM AND A SMILE. But please accept my constructive criticism as a former retail manager and frequent shopper. Still one of my favorite stores and go tos.

Because of lower prices and convenience of Southland Center near my home, I buy several types of paper products, over- the-counter medicines, groceries, greeting cards, gift cards, and telephone cards at Dollar General stores. Great place to save money on limited budget!

They usually have whatever I need and their products are priced as low or lower than the big box stores. Good place to get canned goods, milk, cleaning supplies etc.

Always difficult to get around, stuff laying around. The entire set up of stire sucks. The way ck out area is designed it is difficult to get around in store.
