I worked at this DQ for 5 years. Since there has been new management for this season, it has completely been run down and awful. I ordered a small sundae and all of the ice cream I got for $3.55 was a dollop of it. They were rude, I barely got anything for the amount that I paid and there was hair all over the lid on my ice cream. Terrible management and it's so sad to see this.

My mom and I have visited this location and each time we have gone this summer, the texture of the ice cream is somewhat frothy, tastes almost spoiled. The first time we visited this summer, we informed the manager as we noticed someone else was reporting the same complaint. It was obvious he was not going to address the issue, as his Co-worker translated. We tried to be fair and give them another chance,..but no more. The last time, the ice cream still tasted "off" and as we were pulling away, the female, dark haired employee was picky her nose! Appeared she was digging to find the good ice cream we used to all know and love. Do better DQ and fix your mess.

The new owners/management are not impressive. We ordered ice cream the other day and it was hard to get the man to put in the right order, and even after that the ice creams were wrong. Not very friendly either. I've seen other reviews that are upset too. What a shame.

We were there on Sunday about 2:00 pm and I way so disappointed. We ordered 2 items we were only ones there and it took forever. I got a medium Heath blizzard did not taste like Heath at all. No taste what so ever. I always get this in Brazil where I live because I love it. The top looked like a kid had played in it with a spoon. One girl went across the street to Taco Bell. R they allowed to do that.

AVOID. It's sad to see they carry the Dairy Queen name. New owners or management are horribly rude. Now matter what item, size, you order they are all the same sized toddler portions. Dirty is an understatement, it's filthy. It's sad, we've always enjoyed this one. 1 star because no option for a 0

Such an unprofessional way of doing business. 2 small blizzards and a small ice cream with crunch topping were $17.89. The receipt just had a total not a price for each item so you couldn’t tell if you were overcharged. When I when back up to the window to see why I had paid so much for what would’ve been $10 at any other DQ location I was informed that their small blizzards had been adjusted to $5.99. Baskin robbins is a block down the road and half the price. This place is just disappointing.

Way too pricey for what you get. I usually take my pup (Heaven) to Culvers for a free treat after a long walk. Decided to try something different because I read DQ would give her a dish of ice cream with a dog biscuit. I ordered a small blizzard and a pup cup and was quite surprised when the girl gave me a total over $12. The pup cup was actually just a kids dish and was about $4 and my blizzard was over $8. Needless to say,we will be sticking with Culvers where I can spend less than $4 for a tasty dish for myself and a free pup cup for Heaven.

Don't waste ur time or Money! Go to the One on Davis Ave. Much better than this one and the 1 on north 13th st. Wabash and north 13th are dirty. They both look like they don't clean very Dirty. Sad situation

Really disappointed in this Dairy Queen. It’s the closest one to our home so we used to go a lot. Now we won’t. We waited in line for 10 minutes just to watch the teenager help some kid who walked up to the window (when the line was back to the street) and then not only looked me in the eye, but proceeded to close the window and not help anyone else. Then, the window where everyone was standing, just closed their window and went about their business. There’s never a sense of urgency and I get it, blizzards take a while, but it’s just rude to not help anyone else and have no sense of urgency when it’s one of the hottest days of the summer so far. I expected more, but I guess that’s what you get when you only allow teenagers to work your location and not have a manager on staff who makes them work efficiently.

A great place for a cold treat. You can't go wrong with a walk-up ice cream store. Blizzards are fantastic. Great workers! Most of them getting their first working experience so be kind and patient. It's just ice cream after all! So enjoy the sweet treat!

Only had 2 employees working. They would take 1 order, then close their window and make that 1 order. By doing that it took them far longer to get customers taken care of, instead of having 1 person taking orders, the other person making the orders. This is summertime, they DEFINITELY needed more employees working. The food was just so-so, just average Dairy Queen.

Honestly there is not much to say about this location. It is a little kiosk, and the staff were nice enough. Ice cream was out quickly and we were on our way. If you’ve been to a Dairy Queen before, you’ll not be surprised by anything here.

I really like when dairy Queen's open. I wish they wouldn't close during the winter time like a lot of them does except for the one that's on East Davis. I think that I would enjoy an ice cream cone in the winter just as much as I would in the summer. Because I see people drinking hot coffee from Starbucks in the summer all the time
