A very nice man always serves us. He makes the blizzards and other treats really fast. Their prices are fair and they have a couple of cute little outdoor seating areas if you want to sit there. We've had several enjoyable items here and will continue to come back.Vegetarian options: I believe they have a plant based dilly bar and something else.Parking: Tons of parking for how small of a location it is, you'll never have trouble finding a spot.Kid-friendliness: It's ice cream, kids love it! They also have smaller sizes specifically for children or people with smaller appetites too.Wheelchair accessibility: Definitely wheelchair accessible

I was caught by a train on North 13th Street and on those tracks I knew it was going to be a long wait. So I decided to stop in at Dairy Queen. I was confused on what I was wanting to order because I didn't have a taste for Ice Cream at the time. I seen on the menu Pretzels Sticks and ordered them. OMG! They were super hot, super soft and had the right amount of salt.Perfect Dairy Queen. Loved them. A+.

I went there the other day to get a blizzard. The lady turned it upside down like they normally do. The ice cream fell out. The lady scooped it up off the counter with her hand and put it in my blizzard and tried to give it to me. She thought it was all right. I had to explain. It was unsanitary. I asked for my money back. The new ownership of the dairy queen is really going downhill.

The ice cream is always good. The only down fall is every time my son and I go for a CHOCOLATE soft serve in a cone with sprinkles, they always end up handing me a cone that is VANILLA soft serve. This is the 3rd time this has happened. The first time I sent it back and stated it is was supposed to be chocolate, then they gave me chocolate that wasn’t even ready to be put in a cone. It was runny and dripping everywhere so much so that I had to hold the ice cream out the window on my drive home. Smh

New owners as of 2023. They dont speak english and are kind of rude. Makes ordering really difficult as they dont understand what you're saying, they don't know what a sunday is. They only employ one non-family person and you just have to hope they take your order.

very slow service. waited 20 minutes for my order to be taken, they were busy and i also work at a dairy queen so i know how that goes in the summer time. ordered a corn dog and pretzels and a strawberry banana smoothie, asked for ketchup with my corn dog and they gave me two mustard with it instead, the corn dog was cold and the smoothie tasted like the fruit in it was bad

Today I recieved, hands down, the best peanut buster parfait I have ever eaten! I did not catch her name, but the young lady with the banana stickers on her visor made my order, and I hope I catch her again on my next visit! The proportion of peanuts to hot fudge to icecream was excellent-- I find most places are entirely too stingy with the nuts and the fudge, but this woman has a masterful technique that I hope to experience again. I have never had a bad experience at this Dairy Queen, and would reccomend it above all the other locations in town.

Just stopped for lunch. Number 1 - no fried foods on menu. Ordered 3 corn dogs and grilled chicken sandwich. All were still cold. I guess they didn't nuke them long enough. Planned on ice cream, but didn't run the risk. It could have been warm/hot instead of cold.

Great employees! I would give it 5* but they now close for the winter season. The older gentleman who passed away that owned it kept it open year round and would serve awesome BBQ in the winter! They also really need to sell cakes again!

Amazing food beyond my expectations! Great value as well. I ordered the Chicken Bacon Ranch combo which to my surprise came with small blizzard and Doritos! Awesome! Definitely recommend stopping by to get your meal and treat at the same time. Thank you Dairy Queen for the deliciousnesd.

Love DQ treats always, staff here seems like they hate their job? Idk just seem angry & rude, my nephew was afraid to get his ice cream from her? Weird, foods always 100% tho! BRING BACK THE CHERRY STARKISS!! 😭😭😭

Usually it's great so I would give 5 stars but this time my blizzard was salty. I almost couldn't finish it. I probably should have tried to return it and ask them to remake it but there was only one worker and she seemed to have her hands full. Usually excellent though so I was surprised.

This it's a nice neighborhood Dairy Queen with walk up service only. Usually staffed by teenagers that are happy to dish out I've cream treats. There is usually no wait and the service is fast. They have a small outdoor seating area that is shaded by a tree for those super hot summer days. This DQ is open seasonly but the season is long into the late fall and they open back up early in the spring.

I'm not a fan of how the only work up front needed help and asked for the manager to come up and help he came up and seen it was just me and scolded her for asking him to help with my large 44 dollar order. Then preceeded to ignore her as more ppl came up to the window for simpler orders she took care of quickly. However it put the first order my order on the back burner. Not happy with how management operates today.

The one on 13th Street was great. Went to the one on Wabash first was ignored , I left and I'll never go back to that one. Horrible

Good place to grab a quick snack on a warm day, the employees are very friendly, the only complaint is that sometimes they run out of things as any other restaurants.

If fast is what your looking for then dont go here. This dairy queen is slow as can be. I stood holding my 9 month old daughter as i watched 3 to 4 people who came up after me leave with their food. All i ordered was a md cotton candy blizzard a small cup of vanilla ice cream and a bbq chicken snack melt. I stood their for probably 15 minutes before i got upset and said something to them. Then when i got my food my blizzard wasnt mixed up and my snack melt was sloppily thrown together. The only thing that was right was the cup of vanilla ice cream. Lol. Not very good service. Also took them way to long to get a second person at the window while there was 8 of us waiting to place an order. Will be finding another dairy queen in town to go to instead.

Went to order the new blizzards two days after they can out and they didn’t have anything to make them even tho they were advertised. Workers are extremely rude and acted like we were a problem for being there. Won’t be back.

This place has definitely gotten better over the years I've ben going to this particular dairy queen but anyway me the wife and kid walked here and she ordered a cherry dipped cone and I ordered a caramel sundae and we shared with are son seeing how he is only 1 but the treats were right on par with what you would expect from any other dairy queen really nothing bad or tremendous about it so all in all this is a good dairy queen to come to they don't have all the menu items that the others do mainly like the food such as their chicken basket or burgers so don't expect to get anything like that the food they have is limited to hotdogs and not much else but they do have most if not all of the ice cream menu items

I got the salted caramel truffle blizzard. Didn't taste much salted caramel truffle, mostly just vanilla ice cream. Service was excellent though.

Yummy new blizzard flavor Caramel Fudge Cheesecake. I think I did and went to heaven. Amazing flavor for sure.
