It's such a cute small town grocery store. The produce and meat sections looked like a high-end store. Clean, fresh, and very well arranged. I was very surprised. Staff was very nice.

The store is always CLEAN, & the shelves are STOCKED. The deli is phenomenal and the hot case is ALWAYS filled with fresh hot chicken and delicious sides. The staff members were well dressed, friendly and fast. The new manager is doing a FANTASTIC JOB. Congrats to Brittany and her team members!!!!!It is always a good day when I can visit the store and leave with a smile, hot fresh delicious chicken and maybe a donut for desert.

Always great to see a family owned business(if it still is). Love the fact that it still stays open 24 hours a day seven days a week. Other than that. It really doesn't do anything to separate itself from the competition. Oh!! A gallon of milk was a bit pricey to say the least. Clean store with employees that at least acted as though they wanted to be there.

Oh god, this is a fantastic grocery store! We primarily go for the hot food bar. The fries and Mac n cheese are the best I've had in ages. The mashed potatoes are probably the best I've ever had. I definitely recommend it.

I ordered a half pound of potato wedges and they were hard as a rock and I couldn't eat them and this is my first time trying your guys deli. Very disappointed.

Easy back, good people.Dock on right side of store as you're looking at it in front.Make sure youre in the dock. It feels like you hit the dock a few feet before the actual dock.

They cost a little more than the big stores, but they are always clean and well staffed. I have never had to wait in a checkout line. Plus they are open 24/7.

Good lil place, I wish they'd expand their stock of a couple niche items, but I have an odd diet. I love this place, open 24 hours, everyone is polite, good, steady stock of most of what you'll need day-to-day. I stop here regularly, and would highly recommend.

Rob Babbs almost made me lose my health insurance when I worked for him because he would not call me back about signing proof of employment documents. I even left him a voicemail crying about how they were going to take away my isurance and I was going through a lot of medical testing at the time. Rob Babbs is only available for his picture to be taken in the paper so he looks good. The store is over priced but since he owns save a lot also he has a monopoly on the entire town. A real POS.

Small town grocery stores are almost always more expensive than fancy pants chains...but not so much more to warrant the inevitable hassles of traffic and Kroger's !#%$#?! automated check out failures.Babb' fried and whole roasted chicken is better, too.And they try to stock a wide variety of things...even like my wife's nasty kombucha.Oh, and the people are much nicer, too.

It was over sixty years ago when I first entered Babb's Grocery store (which, at that time, was across the street.) Though larger and more modern, It still has that special small town personable appeal which is more and more rare to find.

Open 24 hours and here, that is important, and very much appreciated. Because even the big stores close up at 10pm -11pm. If you go, try the "Essential" brand. It is great! Abit pricey on some items, but really well worth it.

Everyone here was super friendly! And they carry my favorite gourmet coffee, too! It’s owned by veterans from indiana and the roasting is locally done! Babbs staff is always helpful and their produce never looks thin or picked over. I value this. I also love the dedicated section they’ve got for local products and treats to be marketed and sold. They care about local because they’re family owned too for almost 90 years! Wow!!

Went there today and purchased a 3 piece chicken meal. Was 10.69 after tax. Chicken was ok baby the second side of Mac and cheese was very small. Did not even feel the small container part way. For the price there are a number of restaurants to eat at in Spencer that are more responsible than $11 grocery store chicken.

Have gotten good livers from here from the deli several times. Today they were already boxed and sealed we grabbed them to go open them and they were hard and dry! I will not buy them again without being able to open the box. Disappointed

Simply stopped in to grab a quick snack while driving through town and wanted to avoid fast food. Many deli options to choose from. Customer service was very good with employees ready to assist and help you. Will definitely plan to stop by again next time we are driving through Spencer and need a bite to eat.
