This particular Dollar General is fairly new. I was very impressed when they first opened, but things declined quickly. Aisles full of merchandise still in boxes and on carts filled most of the aisles to the point you couldn't get down some of them. But it seems new management has taken over and they have busted their humps getting things back in order. I now enjoy shopping at this Dollar General again.

For the people who work at this store you guys rock & are helpful every time I go in the Pierceton, IN, store. I’d definitely give it a 5-star rating when it comes to the people that work there, they have a true willingness to want to help the customer & many times have gone out of the way to help me! As per the store size, age of the building & lack of aisle spacing, I’d give it 2 stars. I know that’s a low number & it’s because when I step into some of the other newer Dollar General Stores it immediately gives me the feeling of ‘enough’ space, not the other way around & lacking space! Which can leave you feeling quite claustrophobic when you go inside to shop! The employees deal with it well it seems & probably the best they can, yet you can tell there isn’t enough room in that store. They do offer a great location, great hours, this particular DG is open until 10pm which is awesome for us who stay up late! Be careful though pulling into the parking lot, it could use some much needed tlc & is in dire need of help with the many large potholes you must swerve to miss. Personally, I think the place would be even more of a goldmine if they’d just give it an absolute facelift to make it more appealing & a pleasant shopping experience. As you have probably noticed some of the DG stores are adding produce to their stores (Yay) - we have one located about 7 miles north of us at their new location in Leesburg, IN. I am hoping that all DG stores will make this change because how cool is that to be able to go to a DG store to get fruit, tomatoes, or lettuce, etc., I love & welcome this change, thank you DG!

Unorganized and too small. Need better selecrion forFoods if they r going to carry them. 1 casher. When2 qas needed. Long wait in line was not fun. As everytime i go there. Need a bigger store amd better organized. With wider isles and more detailed signs. To fimd items.

I love shopping at Dollar General! It has almost everything I need and there are no long lines and everything is in a smaller store. Makes trips to the store less exhausting.

I dont know why... but EVERYTHING you buy from this story comes home with a cheap (dollar general) air freshener smell clinging to it. Even things from the fridge case has what we call "The Dollar General Smell" on it. We bought flour here once because we were out, and I swear to you the cookies tasted like the store smells.It is quite close quarters, tight isle, and it seems like they never have what I am looking for, but hey its not WalMart, right? Its good in a pinch for the basics.The staff are friendly enough, just don't expect a smile or any help when you run in the door 10 minutes before they close.

Okay for my personal experience there's a guy that works their name Sam awesome guy to know friendliest person you can ever meet help anybody without question and always has a smile keep the store taken care of prices are great can run out of product a lot because of a small town and it's the only store there

This Dollar General is pretty big and has a lot of things you don't find in the smaller stores. It tends to be disheveled and not very tidy, but it's one of the few places to get household stuffs without going to a bigger town so it works.

Aisles always seem to have boxes of goods sitting to be put on the shelves...so some aisles are tight for a cart...but Dollar General always has the best prices.

Great for items you don't want to have to drive all the way to Fort Wayne or Huntington for. Always clean, and the staff is nice and friendly.

The cashiers are awesome but the store is in a poor state, nothing is recovered, several items not restocked, crates are sitting all over the entire store with product in it.

There's almost always leftover stocking boxes left in the aisles, which can make it difficult to access certain products. There aren't any other grocers in town, so it fills a void.

The place is terrible! Always so messy and dirty. There will be carts full of boxes in the middle of the aisles and stuff laying on the floor in dirt. It's sad to see a newer store like that not well taken care of.
