Save your time and go to the old flamingos off western ave! It’s a shame I live right down the street from here but I am disappointed every single time. My four year old wanted tacos after a long day and I hesitated but had already made it most of the way home so decided to stop here anyway. 6 steak tacos rice and beans. My biggest issues are always the unfriendliness of the employees on both the grocery side and restaurant. Secondly and most frustrating after paying almost $20, the portions and extremely skimpy. Four tacos are the size of two. And barely one scoop of both rice and beans with the special. I am now convinced that I will not be back to this restaurant- and my family eats out for tacos very frequently. Pictured is THREE taco’s believe it or not - look very closely.

I love their produce prices and different varieties of Hispanic food, yet the best is the food they produce at the small restaurant. 😋 Delicious!!!

Been going here since childhood and their tacos never miss. Their green salsa could use some more flavor but other than that, the meat has so much flavor you literally can’t get enough. Best tacos in south bend.

The best soft shell chicken supreme tacos ever! They also have good cooked potatoes and fried chicken drumsticks. I love when my husband goes here for food.

Fresh Meat, Seafood. And Cheeses. Great selection of Mexican products and produce. They have a restaurant in the store with lots of options; a nice selection of fresh mexican sweet breads as well.

Tamales and tacos are amazing. However the parking lot seems almost backwards & unfortunately the patrons can not park or drive to save their lives, which is why I seldom go. Store seems to need a good cleaning

It is close to home and convenient. But the butchers are AMAZING! From slicing and cutting your favorite meats, to preparing ready to cook Fajitas and Milanesa, they are my favorite! Not to mention, they are pleasant and courteous. And yes, they do speak English.

This is a Mexican grocery with a small restaurant. The food is really, really good. This is Mexican food for Mexicans and I'm definitely a fan. This is a hidden gem; a friend from the neighborhood took me in and I've been back pretty much every time I've been out that way. I love their stuffed peppers especially.

Good food, terrible service. I ordered two tortas and waited over 35 minutes. There we're only two customers other than myself. At least six other customers came in put their orders in and left yet my order still wasn't ready. I actually had to ask for a refund or my food.

Used to be great, but now it stinks. Last time I got rubbery undercooked chorizo. The time before that they were out of cilantro lol. They don't carry the good flans in the refrigerated section anymore. The only thing I used to get that's still good are the candied sweet potatoes in the plastic boxes by the registers.

This place is really clean, the gentleman fixing the food speaks English. Food is delicious, hot, cold drinks good....tacos can be ordered as American or Mexican.The chicken leg full n delicious..Food not spicy but you can heat it up ur self.

Love going to this market. When you're making tacos, nothing like fresh tortillas which they have plenty. Full service meat counter as well as a great selection of Hispanic products and spices. Candy and cookies too! And at the lunch counter the best tacos. Don't forget to try the horchata🥛

Best carne asada tacos closest to me! Mexican style all the way. I lived in Tucson, Arizona for most of my life so this is in comparison to some of the best Mexican food in the Southwest and Mexico that I've been used to. Cinco 5 International does them well like this, also.

Very happy I found this place! Drove 26 miles to get some items I needed and can't find in La Porte. We will definitely be back. Thewat dept was awesome, fresh and alot of varieties. Got what I needed to make menudo, pozole and tamales. ♥️
