The animals, especially the birds looked really ragged. I felt so bad for this one little parrot or conure.... it's cage was too close to the door, and it was 23° outside, so the bird was shivering uncontrollably. I could tell it was really stressed as it's feathers were ruffled, and it had begun to pluck them out. For the prices, petco charges for cat toys alone, they should have proper placement and cate of the animals they foster. Where do these animals come from anyway? Are they wild caught?? That would be really bad. I don't think I'll go here again. It made me really sad to be here.I would have tried to rescue that bird, but it was $700 and I'm moving. Too bad...

Best customer service ever! The staff were so friendly, helpful, and super nice to my dogs. They helped me get outfitted for our newest rescue, save money from the coupon book, and all of them working on November 30th in the evening deserve major kudos and a raise! The manager was OUTSTANDING in her customer service. I will shop this store from now on for all my pet needs. AWESOME JOB CREW!

Staff was very helpful. Went in looking for a new tank for my mom's gecko. Staff pointed out a couple that we might like. My mom decided on the one she wanted and we were in and out in a few minutes.

Petsmart is always uniform with all other petsmarts. Many selections for aquatic, reptilian, arachnid, insects, avian, lagomorphs, felines, and canines. This is the go to place for all forms of pets when it comes to there live and non live food requirements, for their habitats, water needs, general wellbeing and for those that require special habitat supplies.This pet smart has it all.Clean store always well stocked and fantastic staff.

This location seemed decently stocked and the team members were polite. I came for a light bulb and food for my bearded dragon. I bought the last bulb for my size, so im lucky to have gotten what I needed and advise checking stock ahead of time.

Took my puppy today to get groomed by Deborah. She was great! He was a little nervous since it was his first time. She got down on the floor and played with him until he was comfortable, she took her time and went at his pace so he wouldn't freak out and did a wonderful job of trimming him without taking too much of. She was very knowledgeable and explained things to us and even helped us to get the best deal. We've been in a few times now, and everyone has been incredibly friendly and helpful. But Deborah made it super easy as we were worried how he might do since it was his first time! Highly recommend!UPDATE! Deborah is still the best!! She makes sure we get what we need and takes such good care of our puppy! He loves going to see her and always so excited! We recently got a second puppy who will also be bringing in to Deborah!

I kind of liked this PetSmart, even though at least two of the employees are less than fit for customer service, up until the new fruit fly change.I buy things for all types of critters and fruit flies are one of the foods I buy. Up until recently they've been in a small, manageable container. Now they are in a large container which you can't even open without fruitflies spilling all over or without dumping the contents, other than fruitflies into tanks. The only way I could see these working is by setting them in the tanks which I'm not putting that in my tanks with whatever the blue stuff is inside.I've been told they won't be switching any time soon. I really appreciate how much they don't care about their products being inconvenient to their customers.

I placed a "same day" delivery order and got an email 40 minutes later that it wasn't going to be delivered until tomorrow. I placed the order at 1 pm so it wasn't before their same day order cut off time. (The cut off time is 3 pm.) So I won't be "same day" ordering ever again. Good thing I didn't need the item today. Not sure what went wrong.

I like going to PetSmart on Saturdays. Heartland rescue and some of the other rescue organizations are there dogs, cats and other animals. I take my dogs to the groomers at PetSmart and they do a good job.

We love going to PetSmart for the variety of dog treats and food, and the great selection of collars, leashes, and dog toys. I love to bring our Chihuahua puppy to pick out her toys. And the groomers take such care and time when cutting our big Akita-chow's hair.

PetSmart has a lot of products - but if you are looking for some customer support to find them - forget it. I arrived at this store shortly after it opened - there were two employees standing at the front register. I asked where to find some medications - one girl told me where to find it but did not offer to accompany me. The medications are displayed densely - it would have helped to have some expertise to find them and then to advise on their use. I guess she was just too busy yakking. When I checked out she was still by the register. Next time I will just order from Chewy and bypass this frustration.

The store itself is fine. Do not take your dogs to get groomed there. At least not by Marianne. I have two small dogs and booked a bath, brush, and furminator treatment for both, as well as a haircut for my long-haired dog. When I got there I was told that Marianne was not qualified to perform the haircut and they would only be able to do the baths. I was fine with that and said I would bring my long haired back another time for his haircut.Unfortunately, I will NEVER be taking my babies back there for grooming. When Marianne put the blue leashes on them, she proceeded to tug them so hard and drag both of my dogs across the floor. Both of them were visibly scared and in pain as their eyes bulged out and turned red bursting blood vessels. One of them actually growled at her during this (he is normally very very sweet). I actually got behind the counter and went on my knees to loosen the leashes and SHOW this woman how to handle small dogs. Anyone who is qualified to groom animals in any capacity should know that you don't drag a dog by its neck across the floor, especially when the leashes they use tighten as they are pulled.I ended up crying and feeling like the worst mom ever for even letting them stay. I decided to stay for the entire appointment and watch at that point. The entire time she was just visibly disinterested and manhandled them for the length of the grooming.I was very very disappointed in her lack of training OR supervision, as there was only one other worker there at the time who was busy grooming a larger dog, and wasn't in the room when the choking occurred.I never leave reviews like this but I want to prevent anyone else from having this experience. It was horrible.

Pet Smart gives me the comfort of knowing I can find what I need for my pets, and what my pets want in treats and toys. Win Win. Prices are competitive with other stores. Absolutely abysmal customer service. My Granddaughter, who is 14 purchased a 5 gal tank and two goldfish. The fish both died and when we went to get replacement fish and she was refused service. She was told that the tank and fish were incomparable. If so, they should not have accepted her $200 plus dollars for the original purchase. Now she is not only out of her HARD EARNED MONEY but she is also very heart broken.Totally unacceptable under any circumstances. Much worse when you're a kid.Shame shame shame

Woke up last Thursday to my Fur baby Daisys back leg being paralyzed. I took her to the vet three times in that week they want 5 to 7000 for the surgery I don't have that kind of money. So we went to PetSmart to get a sling to hold of her legs up to help her so she go potty. I also was also going to get a back brace thing for her to help her keep her back straight they didn't have either one they did have a sling for a 50lb dog but that was it. From my research this seems to be a problem with certain dogs so you would think a big pet store would carry items like that. I left there and went to another PetSmart to see if they had those items and they had the same thing a sling for a 50-pound dog and that was it. It would just be nice if they would have those things on hand because this is a hard situation to go through any how and then not to be able to go to your local stores and get things that you need to help you deal with them it's kind of frustrating so now I have to get online and order from another company and wait for it to get delivered

I took my Lola Joy in on the 6th of June, 2023, for a spa day.. Mishawaka location had her booked a week later which didn't work for my work schedule... long story short, I took her to the South Bend location,i'm thinking they have the Same experience!!! WRONG!!! Susan Butchered my baby !! I didnt even recognize her!! I've sent pictures and complaints!!! I haven't her from Any manager about what that Monster did to my Lola!!! I will never go back there ever!! She's a MONSTER!!!! She took almost all of her hair off, saying she had a few matted areas,very little matts!! If you don't know how to groom Susan just say so!! You didnteven shave her evenly!!! She came home distraught,peeing in the house and acting terrified!!! Something happened to her while she was in your care!!

Manager was rude. Wouldn’t sell me any fish because I didn’t bring my tank water in to be tested. ( it has been cycling for weeks). They say it is their policy since it’s a live animal, they cannot sell them to me. Even though a couple of gentlemen standing in line in front me did not get asked any of the same questions & they proceeded to get their requested fish with no problems.If they’re so concerned about their live animals then why sell Betta fish in a cup on a shelf? they never ask about water conditions for them whenever I’ve purchased them? I understand it’s their policy, but they should enforce with all customers.
