Always come to Menards anytime I need something for home repairs. I normally can find things without requiring staff assistance.Yesterday, my water heater went out and so I went in today to get a new one. I met Brandon in one of the aisles who was very helpful in answering multiple questions I had regarding which water heater I should get (as he later told me that he used to install these at his previous job). He was very knowledgeable and courteous as he wheeled the heater to the cashier for me. Danielle was also of great assistance as she answered questions I had with inquiring about getting a new water softner. Very courteous and knowledgeable regarding her own experience with Morton’s softeners which is swaying me to get one of the models. She spent a little extra time assisting me with getting the warranty for the water heater (which I highly recommend; it’s worth the piece of mind) as well.There was a gentlemen (didn’t get his name) who was also helpful in helping me put the water heater in my car as I couldn’t do it myself without risk of dropping and damaging it.Overall, I’m very satisfied with this visit. Brandon, Danielle, and the other gentleman who assisted me deserve to be recognized and applauded for the great customer service and hospitality that they exhibited.Thank you!

This store is super well lit and is super clean. I've never had a bad experience shopping here. Most things are super easy to find and if you can't find it just ask an employee. If there's anything you need to build something, tools, or decorate this store most likely has it. And the employees here are super sweet, respectful, and very helpful. Overall I recommend.

We bought the KLËARVŪE closet system.The problems began with pickup.They went to load the nearly 500lb double pallet onto our trailer and told my husband he would have to PAY for the MDF board they had wrapped it to.After he refused to pay for it or help them and they were going to have to hand load it right there in front of the store (like they wanted him to do) they changed their mind 🤣That was our mistake though, because after unwrapping it we realized the binding had damaged the edges. Luckily they were inside edges and the damage could be hidden.What couldn't be hidden is the melted plastic stuck to the boards. The pictures were taken after I tried scrubbing it off. I accidently chipped a the wood pulling off a bigger piece of plastic. I will need to find a special cleaner 🤞Things went downhill from there.We were prepared for self installation, but there were NO INSTRUCTIONS, nor any links to video instructions anywhere with the package.The wood is SUPER CHEAP with the screws ripping out constantly with to much pressure applied. As you are required to apply pressure to put the shelves onto the screws in the wood, it's inevitable you will be ripping out at least a few.The edges are easily damaged just sliding one board off of another.Even after getting the whole thing put together it looks like TRASH up close because of all the holes. You don't see those is the advertisement for these closets...I get that it's customizable, but they could at least provide inserts or applicable strips or SOMETHING to cover the HUNDREDS of holes all over this thing.We are keeping it because if we tried dismantling it more damage would be caused and we wouldn't get our money back, but we will ABSOLUTELY NOT be buying more of these systems for our other rooms.The good points?The best thing I can say is the ucreate option let us design it online and, instore, Craig was Super helpful.The closet itself looks good from a distance...Save yourself time, money and frustration.Go to Lowes.I will be next time.

Diane is fantastic, we have been helped by so many employees here, all of them have been critical in getting our new house up to snuff, from electrical to flooring to order pick up. We special ordered carpet and the two guys who helped us were thorough, patient and understanding. De Von helped me out today at Pick Up and was easy to work with, he even reminded me to check the stuff I got which I always forget to do. We are moving nearby this location and will be back because of the employees (and the deals). Thank you

Perfect stop for the weekend warrior or the professional contractor.Probably my favorite hardware store in our area. We have some of the bigger Box chains but you can't beat the service and product knowledge of the associates of Menards. The online shopping offers "we pull, you pick up" options that make this one of the best places if you need a big pile if supplies or a couple of quick tools. Plus, you can't find the toddler-friendly shopping carts at those other places! You might chuckle, but it's a great way to keep two contractors-in-training occupied while Dad shops!

I'm closer to this location and it is also easier to enter and leave then fighting the traffic in at the Mishawaka location. For the most part I don't mind this store. Big selection to pick from at a competitive price plus they do propane refills too. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the 'line cutting'. Both times I've made a purchase, the cashier wasn't even done scanning my items. The next customer in line put their items down and came up right behind me and waited. I haven't even paid or got all my items bagged yet. The next person only 2 feet behind me. Menards is the only place I've seen this at.

Store is absolutely huge! The architect went overboard with the open pavement. For a simple project I had to walk 5 miles to collect all the items needed. The outside lumberyard is obnoxiously large. I had to walk what seemed like a half mile outside just to get a standard 2x4.. and what do they expect you to do in the winter??? I’m not going to go inside, pay, drive around and through the lumber yard for a 2x4.. the only stock they have inside is “premium” at double the price.I’ll drive a little further to the Mishawaka menards which is appropriately sized and still stocks 99% of what I needIf you’re a professional builder who does his own shopping in person (not typical) it might be great, but that’s really not menards typical client.. not sure what they were thinking with this one..

It's been a awhile since I have been in a Menards, I was surprised at the amount of things they have compared to several years ago. They have a lot of things that the blue and white competitor doesn't. I have always gone to the competitor but think I might be making more visits here when I need something. Now this was just one trip so I will adjust the review as needed if anything changes but, customer service was great and answered questions I had on the location of products and such.

I interrupted 3 crew members laughing and hanging out. I asked if anyone knew anything about doorknobs. The guy said NO.. and the girls giggled. Beyond rude! Walked away.. said guess they don't care. Nice customer service.

Staff is difficult to locate and not very knowledgeable. Spent nearly half of my visit navigating through the isles on my own searching for items. Electrical and plumbing supplies not adequately stocked and or items placed in the wrong bins. Spoke to the manager of staff regarding my experience and was told and was told there was little he could do, that it was corporate to blame. When I called corporate to relay my experience, the message said to write a letter, mail it in with my concerns. To be honest with other more reliable and customer focused businesses in the area Lowe's and Home Depot my team has been encourage to acquire materials else where.

Don't order anything that requires delivery. They will give you false arrival dates (days of the week that they don't make deliveries at all) and reschedule indefinitely. Don't expect to receive your products. As bad as Fedex.

This store is HUGE! This was my first time shopping at this location. Very well lit. Clean and well maintained. Excellent service and selection. One of the few home stores that stock slat wall panels. I wish I lived closer!

Design center staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Great inventory. Professional contractor referral resource. The outdoor lumber yard is geared for large projects.Don't allow small children to roam the lumber racks.They can be seriously hurt.

I attempted to return a set of Midwest snips here and they would not honor the warrant. I've been buying and exchanging Midwest products without receipt or issues for 7 years and all of a sudden, it's a problem. I've contacted Midwest and they instructed me to return them to the menards I got them from. Menards needs to instruct their employees on how to correctly follow manufacturer warranty exchanges. Midwest instructed me to bring them back based on my issues.

They refused a refill on a legal certified 100lb propane tank that was certified this year in January because it was 15 minutes till close and claimed it wasn't a legal certified tank saying any one can engrave it even tho Franger Gas Company, Inc Elkhart certified it. Not mentioning names for legal reasons but there team that handles takes are lazy.

This store is a disgusting waist of space and resources. And I was treated like I stole something just because I wanted to buy a few hundred dollars in tools. The facility is massive, but apparently walking around and checking it Out for the first time is grounds to have an escort put on you to follow you step by step. Making sure that I'm not stealing. The entire experience was humiliating, I will never go back.

Decent prices, decent availability of products, lousy service. If you don't know exactly what you need, good luck. And I'm not talking about professional level things."I need matching deck screws for your proprietary decking brand. Where do I find those?""Uhhh...."Or my favorite: the lumber yard. There's no map or anything of the lumber yard so you just have to drive around. Guessing where things are at.And that's fine, but after a while when you find the cedar section for example and your sku isn't in the outdoor lumber yard and you have to ask for help and the guys out there are completely disgusted that for some reason you don't know that "everything under 12' long is inside." .... When you're standing in front of 8' & 10' boards because the guy inside at the desk sent you outside.Anyway, good luck if you have to ask for help. I've been doing regular improvement projects there since this new location opened. The customer service has been constantly lousy since then.

Customer Service is important to me and I like this particular location because the staff in the plumbing, paint, building and electrical departments are knowledgeable and they really want to help you. They are friendly and actually know their stuff. The register area is slow and turnover seems high here which is frustrating when I'm in a rush but you cannot have everything. Customer Service Desk is hit and miss depending on who is working. This is a smaller store so selection is limited but they have a good quantity of product on hand and the right products for most of my needs. I am here at least 1-2 times a week and sometimes it seems 3-4 days a week.

Absolutely junk worked once. Wouldn’t start called for replacement they gave me 2 numbers of people to fix both of which said they didn’t work on 4cycl version called back they told me to go online at Generac to get help as that was the only 2 numbers they had. 400 wasted and NO customer service shopping elsewhere from now on.

I need to update my review since the review for the old store carried over to the new location. This Menards store is great! The layout is a little different than the one across town, so if you're used to that one it might take a little while to find your stuff. But the staff are helpful and will show you where things are. I've had several times where a staff will point me in the right direction, then check up later to see if I found it. And there's hardly a wait checking out!

Very nice and cool place, customer service is excellent. Workers there really do help to make your experience there more efficient and easy. No wait, no masks and most of the cashier lines are open and quick. Definitely shopping for tools there again!

Placed order online did not get email with order number , called store next day order was picked and ready for pick. picked up order they couldn't give a receipt just packing list with price that says this is not a receipt . Company rejects charge due to the note at the bottom. Go in next day to get receipt couldn't get one

Had to walk from the front of the store and all the way to the back, twice! Never anyone around to help. The whole process was a pain in my arse! From the very beginning to the end! Had to pick up stuff for work, otherwise, I would have never went there! Don't recommend it at all!

Always try here first as the employees are typically much more helpful than the other home improvement stores. That advantage may now be gone. I visited looking for a toilet part and found lots of employees who actively avoided me when I sought help/information. I walked up and down the aisles searching for a specific replacement part and found nothing even close. Eventually I just walked out and went to Lowe's where I am used to being ignored by employees.
