Great service, great selection of goods, but this is a store that requires a member card to receive the best deals. Member cards don't ever save money. The store simply charges more if they don't have your name address and phone number.

Martin's is my go to for quality foods. Definitely worth buying the fried chicken from the deli. We often get this for holidays. The Salad bar is also worth noting.

This Martin's is so convenient for me. It's on Ironwood Dr at the river so I pass it really often. It's a smaller store but is well stocked, has very friendly employees and a Deli department similar to the others, only smaller. It is near IU South Bend, the Farmer's Market and is in the River Park neighborhood close to Lincolnway.

What else can i say it's a great supermarket always a very vast selection of all types of food they're international food selection is tremendous sometimes they're meat it's a bit pricey here but that's because it's worth it. They have a couple self checkhouse but for the most part have regular cashiers which is plus everyone there is friendly and courteous my go to place for groceries

We asked for 3chicken breast and was charged for three breast but received one breast one wing and one thigh we don't like any other parts of the chicken that's why we asked for breast and we paid for three breast,we always have a bad time with this place but this was the thlast time and this is why I'm reporting it

Update: THIS is literally the WORST Martins in the area!! Came by again today 9:40 am for boneless short ribs. There are none and I would have to come back tomorrow. Called Martins by the river they said the meat cutter would have them done in an hour or so. This place is awful and does NOT care about customers!!If you’re looking for a grocery store with great customer service GO ELSEWHERE! I only go in as a last resort. Gone downhill. Hard to find a store that’s filled with as many RUDE employees! This is the worst Martins in the area!Deli department and Meat department employees are rude.Every other Martins meat department I’ve been to is courteous and well stocked!!

The woman who works in the flower center is so rude! All I wanted was for her to decorate flowers and put them in a vase that I was paying for and she had an attitude with me the ENTIRE TIME. Then she told me she had other more important orders to do and it would be about 20mins before she could even get started on mine and I was the only one standing there! Her customer service was terrible! Will definitely not be going back!

If you’re looking to compromise while paying more, you found the right place! Consistently out of items/brands or simply don’t carry the ones you’re looking for. Produce is fresh, assuming they stock what you’re wanting. More expensive than competitors under the guise of and experience & convenience. Ironically, can never find an associate nearby to ask for helpI’d rather find what I’m looking for and save money than have a high school student offer to help me to the car or take my cart.

It's a grocery store, with a decent selection. Still has real cashiers. Lil bit more spendy than the box stores, but not that much. Moral seemed to dip once they got their new Spartan overlords.

It's a clean store. Nice when you can find sales. Gotta watch the register because sometimes it don't ring up on sale .. lots of workers . Big variety of everything. Need to bring back my plant based snacks and popcorn cakes. One week I get something than it never comes back

This is clearly one of the better Martin's experiences - it's bigger than Heritage Sq Martins and has about as nice of things as Campus Martin's (Store #10) - I recommend this one if you can get over there as it is superior to River Martin's any day! (South Side!!!)

I went to Martin's on Ireland Rd and I purchase some snapple tea. I used the self check out. I paid for the tea, and I was walking away from the self check out towards the cashiers. When both cashiers approached me and asked for my receipt. The cashier's names are Kendal and Natasha. They said that they needed to see my receipt, because they have taken big losses on the Snapple tea. They said people are walking out of the store, and not paying for the tea. I told them that they couldn't see my receipt, and that I needed to speak to a manager. The manager came over and his name is Adrian, and he told me that it's the energy drinks that people are taking and not the tea's. He apologized to me for them stopping me. I am an African American who just stared discrimination in the face. The way those cashiers made me feel is totally unexceptable. Know one should ever be treated that way. I will never shop at Martin's again, and I will let everyone else know how Martin's supermarket feels about the African American community!

My favorite thing is how many cashier's are working!! That's awesome! Not that I don't dislike self checkout, but sometimes it's just nicer when I have a lot to scan.Downfall- the prices are a bit more than other stores. I'm usually a Meijer type of gal. But do appreciate the Manager special's they have on some meat. Salad bar is great but price is too much in my eyes.

Though their prices run a bit higher than some of the other nearby super markets their service is beyond compare. The selection is good. Baked goods and produce are the best in town. The most important feature for me is their electric carts. Because of arthritis walking is difficult for me. I've left other stores because they had no carts available or their carts would die before my shopping was done. Martin's always has plenty of power carts available and they keep them well maintained and ready to go. Being able to keep my independence is very important to me and providing reliable power carts is an important part of this. Thank you, Martin's.

Disappointed, they had a clip and save coupon on chicken last Friday, I couldn't get an internet connection in store so I mentioned it to the cashier, who never even responded. It was still a good deal, but $3 off would have been better. Honestly, if you have a card you shouldn't have to clip anything, it should automatically be available once your card is scanned.

Amazing selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, along with all the things you would find in a typical grocery store. The dagwood sandwiches are very scrumptious. Their kind, caring employees will make sure you find what you are looking for. Definitely deserves a five-star rating!
