Cookies had been expired for a month when I bought them, didn’t realize til I got home. And we all know dollar/grocery stores 99% of the time don’t accept food returns, so I didn’t even bother trying to exchange them. Just writing this review to say they should probably check to make sure they’re selling food that isn’t past best by date - especially something that is junk food that can last for years unopened. Still giving 3 stars because cashier was polite and service was fast.

The cleanest most organized Dollar General I have been in since C-VID. The manager and staff are polite and hardworking.

4 stars for dollar general??? Yes, because every employee and even the customers were very curtious. While waiting in line, one of the employees stopped stocking and opened a register to get the customers to checkout quicker, yes this is what they are supposed to do, but it would have been an easy thing to ignore and it was done with mutual courtesy and respect; excellent customer service Miss.

Love the Dollar General. Just wish the employees liked it too. They treat you like it's a bother to even answer a yes or no question. I've left many times because I don't bother to ask for help anymore the rudness is unnecessary

Store manager talking to a customer at the register and ringing her return super slowly and talking about children and other stuff and ignoring 7-others in line. When I mentioned it her fast response was okay, now I am not ringing you up. Bad behavior, bad communications. Maybe she was having a bad day. That happens to all of us. But I waited after she rang another customer up and asked her again to ring me up. She called the police instead. That's tragic. Glad I am not a Dollar General customer. Only been there 2-times in 20-years and today was one of them. Just hope she has a good day tomorrow. I'll pray she does. She is probably overworked and overstressed. But, today the service was a one-star.

This store is usually stocked well and very minimal lines. I get checked out quickly and the cashier's are friendly. They often have new and different items, and they're rarely out of anything. One of the better DG's around.

Cashier was very rude. Will not go back. I was trying to download the app and that is a joke. I have one of the best phones out and I can't get service inside the store. CASHIER'S at the WESTERN AVE STORE IN SOUTH BEND INDIANA 46619, ARE VERY RUDE DISRESPECTFUL AND SHOULD NOT B A CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATE...

They always have boxes everywhere, and they never have corresponding Gain pods with the same fabric softener. I usually end up going to a different one just to get the fabric softener or Gain Pods to match. I don't usually go to this one anymore because of all the things that I've listed.

The store had supplies to be stocked all through the store. The shelves were poorly stocked. The only reason I gave them 2 stars was the niceness of the cashier.

We shop here quite a bit. The only reason they get 3 stars and not more is because the shelves are often empty or there is stuff that still needs to be put away. I guess I assume they're understaffed...

Found this location randomly and it wasn't as packed as the others which is awesome so I was able to get in and out without a problem obviously the prices are great as well.

Place looks like a dump. Only 1 register open and very slow service. We walked out, probably never to return.

Very slow despite having 3 registers only 1 was in use..very cluttered shelves they were not neatly stacked had problems matching the prices up with the items
