So sad the CVS pharmacy is so dysfunctional. I do not blame the local location after hearing feedback about their dysfunction I blame corporate.I transferred to this pharmacy about eight months ago, due to insurance discontinuing our partnership with Walgreens. When I pulled up, I quickly found out the drive-through is pretty much constantly closed, due to a shortage of workers. I did fill out a survey and report my information to corporate, and they did contact me, but the problem was never resolved.I recently had to transfer a prescription to a nearby pharmacy because they cannot get the generic drug that I’m taking, and my insurance will not pay for the name brand drug any more. The new pharmacy had to call CVS and they said well this could take some time … they are notorious for not answering their phone in a timely manner and it just isn’t their fault - it’s their corporate not caring. We waited for close to 40 minutes until they answered - but unfortunately, the person on the other end of the phone said they could not call my insurance company because they are too overwhelmingly busy and it would have to wait until the following day. I told the new pharmacist I know all about their non-caring corporate company. The new pharmacist said they’ve had countless people transfer due to the poor service there.I also posted inquiry on my neighborhood app, asking if the drive-through is always closed or if this is a pandemic stemming staff shortage situation… And boy did I get a flood of information that it’s always close, and I should seek another pharmacy for my needs.

Sarah, was exceptionally kind and helpful to me. I had ordered online and received wrong product. Came in and she straightened out my issue. The other woman working that day, was also very kind. I thought I had left my wallet on the counter, she even helped me look outside. Excellent service, very kind employees.

I came into the pharmacy 3 times to pick up my daughter pain medication. Still had to wait 45 min. When I explained to the employee that I came at 1:30 and again it’s now 4:30 and her medication still wasn’t done. They really need to teach them how to speak to customer since 90% of them are sick but they clearly don’t care. It was also another customer that came behind me and had the same problem. She said she would not be coming back and I agree! They have no sympathy or compassion and it’s sickening that they work with the public

The staff is always very kind when helping me. However, the store is always very dirty. Additionally, and specifically, the Cherry Vanilla Coke in their coolers expired 10/30/23 - over a month ago. I’ve let two associates know on two separate occasions, and was told they would “handle it”, however today when I went to grab one, the expired ones were still there :(

I just had a very welcoming, helpful experience with your cashier/associate Jan. She was great!

Prescription has been processing since Tuesday and called the automated this morning said it will be ready by 6pm today, never got a text, called again to see if it was ready and it says my son don't have a prescription...What is up with all these damn pharmacies can't get anything together...I guess time to call and yell at them too. Already did for Western CVS now this one.Maybe I will just call CVS on Western to see if they can fill up

Absolutely the worst!!! Only go here because my husbands insurance makes us. Physician sent script a week ago for refill. Still no script had to get my insurance company to call CVS to get anywhere. They never answer the phone and will hang up on you. Wish something would get done. Many people have the same complaints.

Please stay away from this location!! I have been calling for over a week and waiting for someone to pick up the phone for 2 hours or more each time. None of the pharmacy staff pick up the phone and they are worse to deal with in person. I have been waiting over a week to switch my prescription from Walgreens to CVS because my insurance is forcing me to do so. There is a major issue happening with this CVS Pharmacy team, and upper management needs to step in. I have lived in multiple states and this is the most incompetent, nonchalant, uncaring, and rude pharmacy team I have ever dealt with. They definitely do not care about your health.

If I could give negative stars I would. One of the worst experiences with any business ever. Their automated system will continuously send you alerts about prescriptions to pick up. However when you go to pick them up the employees will always ask you to come back in an hour. Their employees are rude and incompetent. They know the system is flawed but do absolutely nothing to fix it. Go somewhere else to get your prescriptions filled.

Covid 19 vaccine. Appt scheduled 2 weeks ago which CVS cancelled because they didn't have it available. Getting multiple emails & texts to reschedule which I have tried. It's still not available in the Scottsdale area (my CVS) but it is in other distant locations on the west side & north!

I went it to grab snacks to have on the road with me, as I am a delivery driver. I first needed to use the restroom, but had no luck finding one as there weren't any signs. As soon as I gave up on finding the restroom, I noticed the 2 ladies in front watching me, and talking amongst one another. I continued to shop but started feeling uncomfortable so I didn't complete my shopping. I went to ask the associate which I found out later was the manager Sarah, if they had restroom. Again you can't tell where the restroom is because of the tented window. and no restroom signs. As soon as I asked her, she said right away that items from the store are not allowed in the restroom. that confirmed I was being watched. I told her didn't she think I knew that? Who in there right mind would take items they haven't purchased into the restroom. Needless to say I didn't;t finish shopping, I just purchased the items that I was closely watched scanning and left. I did call customer service and they got me in touch with the district manager who was so apologetic and nice. Shame on you CVS, shame on you.

Manager Sarah, was extremely rude to her employees. One being an older woman and the other being a younger gentleman. Both of whom seemed to have been doing their job. She spoke to them as if they were children, being very condescending and embarrassing them in front of the customers in the store. Which I believe, is EXTREMELY unprofessional. If something isn’t being done right, pull them to the back, and explain to them in a RESPECTFUL manner what the issue is. I definitely don’t believe someone who is supposed to be a “manager” should be speaking to their employees in that way. Corporate definitely needs to retrain this so-called manager.

Quite possibly the worst CVS I've ever been to. Go anywhere else but here. Disgusting.

This CVS is awful for service all around. Knocking this location down and building something else would be a better idea than it’s eye sore that’s just there to look at

Miss Angela was the most helpful person we've ever met at a CVS. Long after we'd given up our search for a small container of Vaseline with cocoa butter, she looked high and low everywhere until she found it for us. No idea why there are at least 10 different Vaseline displays on different aisles, but we're very grateful Miss Angela was there to help. We also like the shamrock earrings that we bought ☘️, and my husband loved his Cadbury cream egg (yuck! 🤣).

I wish this could be 0 stars because giving this pharmacy one star is wayyyyyy too nice! We had to leave for vacation and I was told they couldn’t fill my script until Thursday and if I got there at 8 am when they open then they would be ready well before 9 am (keep in mind we delayed the vacation an entire day with this information). I go at 8 am when they open Thursday only to be told that they don’t do scripts until 12 pm….. nothing I hate more than liars and in an environment that is supposed to be professional just baffled me. Never going back to this location and everyone in that pharmacy should lose their license and be fired.

This CVS is horrible!! If I could score them 0 I would, they have had the pharmacist no showed a few times and instead of letting people know the pharmacy will be closed all day, it just says closed, so people think they’ll be opening soon. And they are also very rude when dealing with them, shame on them, again the worst customer service

This is by far the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. Due to poor management, lack of training and efficiency or just pure stupidity, it takes at minimum 10 minutes to get your prescription. Which of course has to be picked up inside due to the drive through never being open. If I could I'd give this pharmacy negative stars.

CVS offers a pretty bad service, customer service is bad. waiting on the phone or in person is very frustrating. Remember we pay for the medicines CVS does not give them for free (Although it seems that way) If you are short of personnel, pay better, hire more people. medicines are expensive and apart from having to go through this don't make sense.

One star is way too many stars. They treat you like your an inconvenience in their day. I dread having to pick up my meds. I have learned if i get a new script it takes them days before they will even look at it let alone fill it. What if it was antibiotics, and I needed to start them that day? If it wasn't for the fact that my insurance requires I use cvs I would drop them.

I only use CVS pharmacy for my prescriptions and also for my family's prescriptions. They once had wonderful service. Requesting and retrieving our prescriptions was fast, easy, convenient, and pleasant. Now, customer service has gone completely downhill. They rarely answer calls and if they do you are on hold for at least 15 minutes. Once I waited on the line for 20-30 minutes only to get hanged up on, so I called the manager to solve the issue. They are ALWAYS short staffed in pharmacy. They take unacceptably long times to fill prescriptions OR FAIL to mention some medications are not available! I'm so shocked by this negative extreme change in customer service in the pharmacy department. Currently looking at new pharmacies to do business with.

This is the worst pharmacy ever!! They say their not understaffed but all indications show otherwise and maybe if they would be honest when I asked, I'd be more sympathetic. I stopped coming here years ago for this exact reason, but my sons Dr accidently called his antibiotic into the wrong pharmacy. So unless you have 46mins to wait on hold for someone to answer the phone in pharmacy and time to wait in a line that goes up and dwn 2 isles two days in a row to get an antibiotic DO NOT COME HERE!! I still haven't gotten his antibiotic and were going on day 3. Even if you have to drive to a farther CVS, do it. It'll still save you time!

Worthless. Had a prescription filled at 11am ready at 3, get there at 5:30 and its still not ready but they’ll expedite it. Bet if I would have got here way later it still wouldn’t have been ready. Another time was waved off before their lunch hour and had to come back three times when I could have got answers the first time. They don’t answer there phones when realistically it takes about a minute to look someone up and answer a question. Forget saving someone a trip though. I wish Walgreens still took my insurance. The pharmacist and assistants are so rude.

When we pulled up we thought it might be closed, there were no cars in the parking lot. It was open. We then found out why no customers were there. I was picking up the items we needed. It looked to be about a $50 purchase. My husband asked about a restroom, we had been driving for hours. He was informed they had no public restroom. For real CVS? What type of place where sick people and elderly people have to shop does not have a restroom? This is absolutely insane. I will NEVER, NEVER enter a CVS again. The sheer lack of concern for customers is completely unacceptable. Walmart will get my money from here on out. CVS, you are the worst type of people. I suspect your employees are too lazy to clean the bathrooms, so they just deny CUSTOMERS the use of the facilities.

Michelle is always so rude every time. Starting off the day just asking about a medication being finished and already getting a bratty response. I wouldn’t have to call beforehand if this place didn’t have a history of sending people off 3 to 5 times for not having the prescription done. Tried contacting the hr and waiting to see.

Poor customer service. Staff is lazy, including the manager. Better off going to speedway, dollar general, or Walgreens down the street.

I’ve been going to this pharmacy because it is close my home and my insurance requires I use CVS. I don’t know why I continue to torture myself. It is always a nightmare they never have my prescription ready when they say it’s ready. My dr will call in a prescription and it will take them DAYS to fill it. I try to call ahead to see if it is ready to save the aggravation of driving there and finding out it’s not ready, well they don’t answer the phones so I have to drive there anyways! I will be switching even if I have to pay out of pocket.

I do NOT recommend the pharmacy at all. I arrived at the drive thru and waited 12 minutes until I finally reached the window. Mind you, I was the SECOND car in line. The person in front of me never received a prescription for whatever reason but my suggestion would be that if it takes that long to figure out or not figure out an issue CVS might ask the person to come inside and not hold up the rest of the forming line behind them. I had received a text the day before that my “synced” prescriptions were ready for pick up. When I arrived at the window I was told only one of my 7 prescriptions was ready for pick up. She told me she didn’t know when the others would be ready but that she would expedite them and they should be ready in about 45 minutes.( I had to go back to work and my mom went to pick them up about an hour and a half later yet they still weren’t ready. Surprised? No! )Before returning to work I decided to go into the store and find out why they weren’t “synced.” I was basically met with “this is the way it is. When one script gets done they text you to get it.” Another excuse was “but you have 7 prescriptions.” 7 prescriptions can’t be “synced?” How is that “synced?” Syncing means you pick them all up at the same time in case CVS doesn’t know that. If they don’t know it they shouldn’t promote it as such.My point of this review is this; At no time did anyone have any concern that I might not have my prescriptions to take that day. At no time did anyone even volunteer to look at my account and see why this happened. Was it a mistake? Was something not typed in correctly? Was there anything they could do to make sure I had the medications I needed and that it didn’t happen again? NOTHING but to tell me “that’s how it is and it happens.” I’ve been without my meds for 2 days because I work 12 hour shifts and took my time off work to run get my prescriptions. I couldn’t get them the next day and can’t always rely on my mother. I shouldn’t have to. I made my plans based on the text I got from CVS. It doesn’t affect them personally so it doesn’t matter. The big picture” doesn’t matter.Defending mediocrity is what matters to them. These businesses need to realize if we don’t walk through their doors, they don’t have jobs. Look at the “1” reviews they have gotten so far. I work in health care and will send patients to another location before I send anyone to them in the future. There is another CVS in the Target not even a mile from them. There is also a Walgreens.

I wish I had read the other reviews before I had my doctor call my script in here. I was planning on switching to this pharmacy after the CVS I had used for years started screwing up my prescriptions. Seems like I chose the worst possible place, I will not ever use them again. Took them 3 days to fill a script, and the cashier couldn't even hear or spell or something. I had to go from pich up to drop off to find out that my script would be filled the next day so I came back the next day and they have no idea what I am talking about my script was filled in a different town! So they said they would fix it and I came back the next day and waited until a rude cashier finally came over to help me. Most of the staff are really nice but it doesn't excuse that management has let this store get this way!
