This place is a hidden gem! We stopped in for peach pie then came back later for lunch - all food was amazing. I tried the Greek burger monthly special and it did not disappoint! Think gyro on a bun - wow! I loved it! Our server, Brenda, was so kind & pleasant. Couldn’t have asked for more perfect spot for lunch. Peach pie, ice cream and Brenda had us add a little cream - YUMMY. Bathroom was spotless!

Ordered a turkey, bacon, cheese melt with cranberry on sourdough. It is the sandwich of the month (Nov). It did not disappoint! Everything was fresh and hot and includes a great "old school" atmosphere complete with a wood plank floor common to general stores from when I was a kid. Prices were very fair as well. Definitely will visit again when in the area.

This place should be your destination, not just someplace to stop and grab a bite to eat.So if you are anywhere near Solsberry make sure to stop here and check this place out. They have some wonderful food. A Gas pump. Some snacks and drinks as well. They have ice cream. They have a pie case fully stocked! On my local mom and Pop shop tour, this place had to be visited... parking is pretty nice with the additional lot across the street. There is also additional outdoor seating here by this lot. When you enter go to the pie case and place your order then have a seat and they will bring it to you. I ordered the September 2022 bacon onion burger special. The beef was cooked just right. Tasted fresh. The composition of the sandwich was pretty good. I think a slice of real bacon would have took it to a new level, but this was done pretty dang good. The goat cheese was a nice touch. I ordered the cheese sticks also. They were as you would expect. Fried. Most definitely of the frozen type. But good none-the-less. The sugar cream pie was absolutely wonderful. I had to buy myself a Yoho coffee mug for the office. Such a wonderful series of local photographs on the walls and tables with stories. This place is just a gem. Check it out!Cleanliness 5 🌟Food 5 🌟Employees 5 🌟Atmosphere 5 🌟Parking: Parking around building and a lot across street. Could still possibly be cramped if they have a busy day.

Stopped in for lunch today. The food was good and the staff were very friendly. This is a very clean rural old country store near some really interesting roadside attractions. This would be a great place to take a break while out on a Fall foiliage tour of southern Indiana. It is really close to Bloomington and a short drive from interstate 69. Came back for lunch again. Same great food and service.

Awesome little country store offers meals, daily specials, sandwiches along with necessity items like gas, atm and some household items. Much more than just a convenience store, much more resembles the old General Store from a much nicer time in American history. The staff are exceptionally courteous and well mannered.

Great experience here. There’s parking right across the street with tables/chairs that you can eat at. The food was delicious; one of the best tenderloin I’ve ever eaten. The staff was friendly and helpful. With it being a general store, there’s a nice variety of foods and other essentials available.

I really enjoyed my stop at Yoho General Store. It made up for not being able to hike the nearby Sculpture Trail (it was deserted and since I know my cell phone doesn’t get good reception in Greene Co. I decided hiking it alone was a bad idea). The atmosphere is old school and awesome. The scoop of ice cream I got was generous for $3.00. I definitely will come back to eat pie and try some of the other menu items. What I will NOT do is pay by any means other than cash. BEWARE! I spent the $3 on ice cream and another $19.10 to buy two souvenir coffee mugs and a slice of pie to take home. I used my debit card for both transactions. Ultimately it was run as debit because I had to put my PIN in. Oddly, I got a message from each transaction before it went through from my bank that the transaction was declined. Since both purchases were ultimately successful, I thought it was just a glitch and forgot about it. However, when I was balancing my checkbook, I found two pending HOLDs for $125 each. $250 is a lot of money to tie up. I am fortunate I could cover it but I am willing to bet there are people who would have to wait for those holds to disappear before they could buy groceries or gas or some other necessity. One hold has now dropped off 3 days later; waiting for the other one to clear. I do not know if that is routine to hold that much even for non-gas purchases or if the employee who rang me up made a mistake, but it reduced my rating significantly.

BEST country fried steak and gravy I've ever had! Mom's pretty picky about her burgers and she liked it!! And there's the Tulip Trestle to vist that's just a 10 minute drive down the road🚂❤👍Mom wrote on my FB page:"It was a great day. Nice, friendly people and good food. The hamburger was the best that I have eaten in years! It was a big hamburger pattie and the meat was good beef. I would give them an A plus on the resturant, the people working there, and the customers and the drive out there❗😊🏆"

I really don’t like to put negative comments on here, but, I hope the person that need to see this does.I’ve always wanted to go to Yoho’s for their famous biscuits and gravy.I decided today, was the day for the 30 minute drive. We got there 5 minutes early so we walked up and decided that we would wait up by the building. They opened the door early, so we went in and for the first couple of minutes, the employees made sure that we knew they opened earlyThey don’t serve breakfast on Sundays (I own this one). We decided to go ahead and order a sandwich. When the food came, no utensils and also, no is there anything else I can get you. There were 3 or 4 employees and not one acknowledged our presence.I Went to the register to pay and there was no, was everything ok not even a thank you. We left the building with no communication with the employees the entire timeI left a nice tip in the tip jar and I will never go back.

Cute little general store with good food. Stopped in for a bite to eat as was recommended and it didn’t disappoint. We both had tenderloin sandwiches. Those were very good. The people working there were very friendly. Nice little place to stop in, cool off and get a bite to eat while out for the day. Looked like there were quite a few items to choose from if you needed to pick anything up while road tripping or on your way camping and forgot something at home. Several ice cream flavors to choose from. So enjoy a treat after your meal!

Great service with a small town feel. Best tenderloin around, onion rings were pretty good as well. Store also includes some general convenience items and unique things such as chocolate pretzels available to buy in a small bag. Store has apparently been around for a long time and the history is evident in the store.

Kind of like your old home-town general store, but on a smaller scale and is also a restaurant. The building has a lot of history, and the store/restaurant is run by the friendliest local folks. But the pinnacle of Yoho's, in my mind, is their burgers. I don't know where they get their beef, but the burgers are the best I've had anywhere around these parts. And they're big, too! Plus through the week they have daily lunch/dinner specials, which are not only very good, but they don't skimp on the quantity either, and are very reasonably priced. They also serve hand-dipped ice cream offering several different flavors. We enjoy an occasional summer walk there just for ice cream cones. Lastly, if you're low on gas, they have regular and diesel outside as well. Their grocery offerings are very limited, but they have the basic essentials: milk, bread, buns, soda, chips, some canned goods, charcoal & lighter fluid, etc.

Passed through here years ago on a day trip to see the train trestle. Stopped in and was impressed with a nicely restored building. Gotta get back through here and grab a meal next time.

Sweet little gas station and convenience store. Really lovely on the inside. Everyone is friendly and there are tasty offerings for all palettes.Kid-friendliness: They scoop ice cream for you, lots of different flavors. It's a nice mixture of nostalgia and joy for younger generations.
