Just left my pets first appointment. They took excellent care of my dog and cat. I previously left a cheap negligent vet, and an overpriced frustrating vet, and landed here where the prices and care are just right! My 75lb dog did NOT cooperate, my cat yelled at us the whole time, and I had LOTS of questions. Everyone there took great care of us with patience, professionalism, and we're more gracious then my circus deserved.

We have been taking our dogs to Dr Kay for years! She is amazing as well as the entire staff! We have never had a bad experience here. The staff is friendly and attentive. Our youngest Cooper was pretty sick when he was a puppy. They got us right in last minute on a Saturday & found that it was his diet causing the trouble. Dr. Kay called me from home the next day (SUNDAY) to check on him! I’ve never met a vet that would actually take personal home time to check on a patient! Extraordinary place! Also must mention that we can afford to take our dogs here because her prices are great! Highly recommend!!

I have taken my beagles there for 10+ years and my wife has taken her cats there for 10+ years as well since we've had them all. We now have 2 more rescue beagles and will take them there as well. Dr. Kays and her staff is always kind, courteous and friendly with our animals. I also like that Dr. Kays will spend the time with us to address any issues or concerns and give her opinion as if our animals are her own. She is absolutely wonderful and I drive the extra time to go there. We live in Columbia City and there are vets in town, but Dr. Kays has earned my business and I am more than willing to drive that extra time to go see her. I respect her as a vet, her opinion and her business. I would recommend her to anyone and would recommend her to anyone looking for veterinary care. It will be well worth your time and trip.

Very clean and professional. Friendly caring staff. Dr. Kay has a very respected scientific approach. I have been to many vets and now drive 20 miles more to have my animals cared for by Dr Kay.Her facility is also very well equipped. When I go there I really feel like I'm taking my pet to a serious caring Doctor for real quality medical care.

I cannot say enough about this vet. Recently my dog was attacked by coyotes, which resulted in a trip the Fort Wayne to the emergency vet (due to it happening at night). I called the next day to let Silver Lake vet know and schedule an appointment with them. Dr Kay was in surgery when I called, but she called me later that same day and spent 15 minutes on the phone checking on my dog and explaining what to watch for and how to care for her (something they did not do in Fort Wayne!) This is not the first time she has taken the time to call me and help me with pet questions. When we brought my daughters dog home and she wouldn’t eat and was having problems. Dr Kays called us back and helped out then too. Dr Surface took care of my horses for many years and was always knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I recommend them 100%!

I take my cats to Silver Lake Small Animal Clinic. The staff and doctors are always very helpful when I call, I feel confident that my cat and I both receive good service, it's very efficient. They have a great system in place with the Coronavirus pandemic; they come out to the car, take the cat inside to see the doctor, then bring your cat back to the car with meds and instructions from the doctor. I am very happy and recommend their service.

I drive over an hour just to brings my dogs here. My parents took our family dogs here and now I take my own dogs. They’re very knowledgeable and fast. You don’t have to wait around to much and when you do you don’t mind because of the friendly receptionists. I’ll always come here as long as they’d take me.

Everyone went above and beyond last week when I had to make an appt for my dog's ear infection. It was a couple days before we could get in, and that was with the "relief" vet whom I hadn't met. The staff was very reassuring(tho I trust Dr Kays to have only the best help!), but then called back quickly to say an opening had come up that day so we got right in anyway :)

We have had 4 dogs use this veterinary clinic. They have been very helpful and wonderful with all our dogs. Moderately priced vet care. Would highly recommend. They really need another vet, so if you are looking for a great community to work in, here is the place!

Called to have a dog that had a stroke and that couldn't walk put down. He was a 14 year old family pet. Wouldnt see me. So my opinion of them isn't very good.
