Drive thru did not alternate between the 2 lanes and left me sitting in the drive thru for a while. I was just trying to pick up a mobile order. There were all kinds of people that got helped/served, and they left me sitting. I was trapped in by cars all around and couldn't leave either. It went on for several minutes. I'm not sure what the problem was with the person taking orders. They did not take my order, and I could hear them on the other speaker next to me. Terrible experience.

Almost always a long wait, skipping orders and handing out several orders that came in after mine (yes I watch the preparing/serving sign). 20 minutes ware and get a Big Mac like the one in the photosI understand being “short staffed” and too many 14 years old is some of the issues but even that doesn’t help when managers are constantly being called from their work stations and nobody relieving them while they are gone from that station, so orders just build up in that area.

Best experience today at this McDonald's! Hot food, greatest customer service! I had my food in under 3 minutes! Manager named Todd brought my food out! Very polite, great customer service! Best manager I've met! Came back a few minutes later and asked how my food/experience was! Was very professional and I was impressed by him managing the restaurant and keeping things running smoothly! Best management team ever!!

One of the worst experiences i’ve had at a fast food restaurant. I waited more than 30 minutes after ordering. Had to pull into another spot to wait. They continued to take orders and serve other customers instead of focusing on the many people that were also waiting for their orders. I understand being busy and short staffed. However, to then serve me cold food as well as overly greasy and sloppy burgers was very upsetting. As I got out of the car to go inside, then the girl came out with my food and didn’t say a word and handed me the bag and walked away. There was grease dripping from burgers as they were picked up. The fries were also cold and hard. Need to make some serious changes because this is ridiculous.

Every time I have ate here it makes me sick. Literally took it out of the options for my family. Honestly should have done it sooner as their "food" isn't actually food which is probably why it makes my stomach so upset.Places like this make me question society and the choices we have let other make that effect so many.

Young manager was working really hard one Friday night recently, was multitasking and doing a couple positions. An older gentleman cussed at him, and was saying stuff in a mean way and was trying to put him down. He had no respect for the hardworking crew that night! They did a fantastic job! They were really busy, but handled it well.

Everything just terrible at this McDonald’s, I waited at the window for probably 7 minutes for my order which was 2 coffees, when the lady brought me the wrong coffees I politely let them know that wasn’t what I ordered so they parked me in a spot and probably forgot about it while I waiting another 10 minutes for my coffees. Then the man that brought them out to me didn’t even give me straws…

Go to North Riley instead of 44. Waited fifteen minutes past the quoted wait time for my curbside order and went inside to see about picking it up since they were clearly busy. I’m ignored at the counter but finally I am (kind of) acknowledged. I ask and the incredibly rude blonde says If it was ready, you’d have it wouldn’t you. A kinder gentleman hears this exchange and brings my meal to the counter. I shouldn’t have turned to the rude blonde and said “I guess it was ready” but she definitely shouldn’t have said “I guess so” with a sneer. Especially with the other two people who had been waiting for curbside behind me.

If I could give negative 5 stars, I would. This place is a disgrace. DO NOT GO HERE ON A SUNDAY. The staff are completely INEPT and DO NOT CARE about customer service AT ALL. I am a Door Dash delivery driver and I went in several times on a Sunday. The earliest visit wasn't too bad, but as the morning went on, every time I had to pick up a delivery, my wait was longer and longer. Finally, my last visit was around 10:30. The lobby was FILLED with people waiting for their orders. I waited an hour to get my delivery orders. There are employees that move as slow as molasses and the managers do not seem to mind. Because of this, orders kept getting backed up to where people were just leaving AFTER they placed and paid for their orders. And if you are a Door Dasher or Grub Hub driver, they definitely do not care about your orders. In the hour I waited, I watched my order go from being 4th on the screen, to last (12th). They make the delivery orders last on their priority list. Sadly, Shelbyville is filled with people and places like this. The majority of the food service industry people in this town do NOT CARE AT ALL about customer service. It's sad, infuriating and PATHETIC.

Went to the drive through. Spent $28 and was told to pull to reserve #1. Waited in reserve for 20 minutes before going inside. After going inside my order was found. Sitting on the counter at the drive through window. Kinda hard to hand it out the window. When I'm sitting in reserve #1. Not sure where else I could have such a fun time.

I'm only giving this place one star because there is no option for ZERO stars. Went to drive-thru at this establishment, watched and listened to them taking everyone's orders and when I pull up to the speaker they say "sorry, we can't take your order because we are short staffed". So were you not short staffed for the hundreds of orders you already had taken up to this point? All of the sudden you didn't have enough people working to take and make literally the last guy in lines order? This is pathetic and y'all need to send your employees back to school for customer service training.
