Everyone was so kind! Rocky had a great experience. I felt the exam was very thorough and they answered any questions I had, as well as offered resources for training that would make Rocky more comfortable as a pet, since we don’t have “work” for him. Scheduling was easy and the app is really nice too!

We adopted a nine year old dog from a former neighbor, and this was his first vet visit ever. We got him checked out, tested for heart worm, and vaccinated. They did very well with him, had some great tips for us, as we are first time dog owners, and they were reasonably priced. We will return for his needs in the future!

Our dog was misdiagnosed twice within a few days. We were given different medications for each diagnosis. We knew she was very ill and close to death. They didn't. The two vets here are young and inexperienced when it comes to your sick pet. Maybe ok for meds or vaccinations. Just our experience.

It was very clean and the ladies who work there was nice and the Dr ash treated Maggie so well and took time to explain all to me. Definitely will keep taking Maggie (border Collie mix) there.

Great vet for animals small practice with very nice and friendly staff. Hours are a bit wonky but they are super helpful. Suggest them hands down.

I took a feral cat in for an injury to its side and they were great with him. He got out of the carrier on the way and they came out and scooped him out of my vehicle and took him in. They were so gentle with him. They really do know how to handle the animals. His finally healing.

Some of these comments must be for the old vet because I just had an experience today that is unbelievable never a gain with this place and will spread the word how horible this vet is people if you have to drive 100 miles to get to a nother vet do it

The staff are immensely kind and knowledgeable. They will always do what it takes for your beloved pets, even if it means making the harder calls and understanding that it's time for them to pass. They were extremely kind and respectful during the euthanasia process for our beloved senior German Shepherd and gave us ample time to grieve during and after. Could not recommend highly enough. Thank you to all the staff here for being so wonderful!!

The appointment for my cat was very time efficient. The staff was kind and the vet was very helpful. Noodles is normally anxious about going new places but he loved all the affection he received there! I would recommend Kingen to any of my friends and family.

I took my mother and her sick shih tzu, Tilly, to Dr Kingen's office. She called his office this morning and they set her an appt for this same afternoon. The parking lot was small and pretty full, but we got the last parking space. There is also parking on either side of his office at the other businesses, if needed.The office was clean and bright. The staff was polite and helpful. We only waited about 10 minutes before getting back to an exam room. The Doctor was also a nice guy, with a sense of humor, who seemed to know what he was doing after many years of practice and experience.The doctor gave my mother antibiotics and stomach medicine to help settle Tilly's tummy and cure her virus that was causing her to have diarrhea, and loss of appetite, as Tilly had a slight fever of 103 degrees.The office visit cost $48, and the one time new patient fee was $10, and the two medicines were only about $10 each for a total of about $80. That seems like a fair and reasonable fee. Funny thing is now days, most humans that make doctor appts end up seeing a nurse practitioner, NP, but animals get to see an actual doctor, lol.They only accept cash and checks, no credit cards. Seems like a good place to take your cat, dog, or other pet for vaccines or medical attention.

Kingen Veterinarian Clinic has been the only place I've taken my pets through the years since 1998. Their staff is always courteousand you can tell they love to take care of our pets. Dr. Kingen has retired now, he was always super nice to my pets. The practice is part of Franklin Veterinarian Clinic now and I was nicely surprised that they accept debit and credit cards now. My dog Bella and I got to meet the new vet recently and she explained everything going on with my little dog. I'm so glad that my dog is being well taken care of by Kingen's staff. 🙂

Amazing vet and great people! They really care about my pets, and aren't pushy on treatment options. He gives the facts and then lets the owner make the choice. I moved several years ago, but I drive the 30 minute trip to their office. There are vets closer to me, but there no vet I trust as much as Dr. Kingen!

I had taken my dog here previously to be neutered and had excellent service with very kind people. The other day my dog cut his paw above the big pad but below the "thumb" pad, rather deeply- my husband saw it tonight and was surprised at the depth. I had wrapped it in a bandage to stop the bleeding and took him in the next day to see if he would need a stitch or two (he bled on my skirt in the car despite the bandage- not a lot but very notice-able). Dr Kingen removed the bandage, looked at it, and then wrapped it back up with a clean bandage, gave me different wrapping that would give a bit more. He said he could anesthetize him and sew it but that would get expensive. It shocked me that he didn't bother to clean it or look at it a bit more than the glance that he gave, just wanted to give him an antibiotic shot (which i refused- and he didn't push). He then proceeded to charge me $5 for the tefla pad (gauze pad) and small roll of wrapping material (the kind you get when you donate blood) and $50 for looking at his paw. REALLY???? Does he need stitches? I don't know. But I do know that I am going to find a different vet.

Dr. Kingen is a very caring veterinarian. When my Dachshund was very sick Dr. Kingen came in to his office special every other day, even on Sunday trying to save him. And his charges were unbelievably fair!

I have two German Shepherds and my youngest Shepherd was very thin and I was told my another Vet that she was fine. I listened to that Vet for awhile until my Mother who raised and showed German Shepherds told me something was wrong with her, she isn't gaining any weight. So a friend of mine suggested Dr. Kingen, and so I called and Dr. Kingen saw my German Shepherd and saved her life. Dr. Kingen told me she had lost muscle mass and she was starving to death, she was not getting any nutrients from the food she was eating, it was not digesting and everything she ate went right through her. Dr. Kingen gave me medicine and told me what to feed her and how many times a day, and within a week she already had gained weight. Now she is a "Hoss" according to my daughters. I can't thank him enough for taking the time and truly cares and knew what the problem was.

DR. Kingen saves my blue pits life. We purchased a sick puppy from a "sick" breeder, and after paying a good amount on him trying to figure out what was wrong, he was finnaly dignosed with demadetrine mange, dr kingen ordered an experimental med from germany, and it worked. hes now 2 and healthy as a horse. Only took upwards of 5 grand, but there was several vists, mulipl problems.
