It was all good, but when I got my order, it was incorrect. I heard one of the staff ask if it was another option that had a similar name, and the person who took my order told them it was wrong and told them what I asked for. Though the staff member who made my order still gave me the wrong food, I don’t know if they meant to, but either way- I had to wait for the correct order for a bit. But in the end, I got what I ordered.

What a great hidden gem this place is. With the old school signs and neon lights atop of the building. It's clean and service was fast. Ice cream tasted perfect.Although on our visit at night none of the signs weren't illuminated (this is why it's a 4 star) and we almost missed it since it's hidden behind a gas station. If you're looking for this place it's in front of Kroger.Definitely worth a visit if you're into nostalgia

A Shelbyville Indiana staple .. not many towns have a dairy queen like ours ...old school ..u get out wait in line and u actually get service this country could do with alot more of places like this was so glad when they rebuilt this place after their car accident that nearly destroyed the whole place a great place to take kids ..even whole teams to get a wonderful treat ..sit at the picnic tables and actually socialize in person instead of on these silly screens we all use now Shelbyville indiana has lost so many businesses lately lets be sure and never loose this one folks spend the money..get a treat ..take the kids ..grandkids ..teams ..mom and dad ..take them here and enjoy a little piece of what it means to be in this great country we all have keep up the fantastic work dairy queen hope to see u thriving forever !!!

Love this Dairy Queen, and I’d go out of my way to visit this particular location. Why? Because of their friendly service and gorgeous vintage signs! It’s special to see these historic gems so well preserved and it makes a truly unique experience for customers :)

A bit of nostalgia with a great flavor! Who says everything has to be neon and modern to provide great service and product? Part of the charm here is the original signs that I remember from my early childhood. Great food, great atmosphere. Don’t ever change!

Great signs it is just too bad that Dairy Queen management can't understand the value in nostalgia and history. Maybe Dairy Queen corporate makes their money selling new signs and not ice cream.

This vintage sign and walk up ice cream stand along with original DQ clown sign (only 3 in existence today) is a true nostalgia trip for the hay day of ice cream. A gem that should not be overridden with branding overhauls.

I was driving by on a road trip and I stopped only because of the sign. It was a nice nostalgic moment for my dad. I’ve cream shops like this are dying out and they are so much better than any contemporary fast food/ice cream places. They are a Midwestern staple.

There's nothing better than this; a true vintage shop design with iconic signage. My family still comes here after taking the trip all the way from Ohio every summer as a kid! In a world taken over by disposable design trends, this Dairy Queen shines brighter with its iconic timeless design (and good iced treats).

Great experience! Love being able to take a step back in time with the orignal clown sign and the walk up experience. It would be a shame if they lost the sign and were forced to become boring and bland like most fast food places have become. The clown sign makes the experience!

Absolutely love the vintage signs - brings a really special vibe to the place. Should honestly be a museum. Totally worth a visit if you're anywhere nearby, as the older signs are such a charming change from newer branding.

hours say they close at 10 but they closed at 9 and Racheal as very rude and disrespectful with me. I do not recommend this Dairy Queen I would rather go to Cabell's across the street.

I absolutely love this DQ I remember walking over here as a kid just to pet the cow😂 and wave back at the clown. If they got ride of the signs and stuff I wouldn’t know what to do with myself. I would love to take me kids here and show them the best Ice cream in town.
