Giving one star because I literally just called and explained what was going on with my very old dog. And it’s we’re not accepting any new patients right now, bye. Not even I’m sorry that must be hard, unfortunately we’re not accepting patients but here is another that is good that may be able to address your concerns. Just straight hung up on. No empathy; no sorry. Just sucks for you kinda of attitude. Not sure why people find their customer service awesome. One call, and it was rude and subpar.

I love Hughes Veterinary clinic they are really nice and knowledgeable. They will not rip you off or charge you an arm and leg. I would highly recommend this veterinarian place!

Our 1st experience with Dr. Hughes was a good one. Nothing fancy but very knowledgeable doctor. He doesn't seem to be the type to nickle and dime you for every test known to man. Very friendly staff and my dog seemed happy there. Thanks Dr. Hughes

We've been taking our pets to Dr. Hugh's for nearly 20 years. He has good bedside manner, a man of experience who has taken good care of all the dogs and cats we've brought in over the years. Not overpriced.

Nice little town doctor. They still use index cards to record your information!! The receptionist may be his wife but either way, was caring and friendly. Dr. Hughes was friendly and caring to my two bulldogs. We'll be back!

Dr Hughes doesn't waste your money on unnecessary procedures. Had a Vet tell me my dog needed a 670.0 tooth extraction. Dr Hughes didn't pull the tooth. The dog's tooth is fine. He takes good care of our dog and two cats. I like the interns, they are all very kind.

I will never ever let dr Hughes touch my German Shepard ever again, just recently my dog was injured, she got a bad puncture wound somehow on her leg. I took her in to see the dr, hurt leg was wrapped , there had been a lot of bleeding. he didn’t even want to look at her leg, said “it will be fine , it’s clean” my response was “ don’t you need to look at it” “no” well I want you to look at it, he said “I don’t want to get bit, I said she isn’t going to hire you, she doesn’t bite people, well he put a muzzle on on Her. I held her, he didn’t even look at her leg, said she’ll be fine. I said do you think she might need sutures, his response “I don’t have time” he wrapped her leg, said leave on for 24 hours, I asked them what should I do, he said “rinse with water and proceeded to charge me 75 dollars. he did nothing for her. I called another vet, and went and got supplies to help treat my dogs injury. It’s been over a week and I’m still needing to treat it,’s slowly but surely healing . Dr Hughes was so unprofessional and nonchalant, it was sickening .

This vet took my Psych Service dog and checked her out because she was losing control in her rear end, almost like she was drunk. His office was even closed. What a great relief finding out that there are still vets who care about the animals. Will definitely bring my babies back. Mini is getting better every day. Thank you!!

Dr. Hughes is easily one of the best veterinarians in Kokomo he takes care of not only my dog Rufus but my father's dog Sammy as well we've went to Dr Hughes now for years WE LOVE HIM and his staff as well he's taken care of all of our pets needs the staff is very friendly and very professional and very knowledgeable he will take fantastic care of your pet and make sure that all your worries regarding your pet are completely gone we all know that feeling of being helpless when it comes to getting your animal to the right vet YOU WILL NOT REGRET TRUSTING DOCTOR HUGHES!!!!
