If I could post a lower rating I would. The pharmacy is terrible. The people are super friendly, but they either don't have enough staff or the staffing hours are off. I have waited in line and heard complaints about meds, and customers are frustrated. The short-staffed team has to take the brunt of those customers' frustrations. Where is management and what are they doing to help make this better?

If pharmacy hours have changed, fine. But update the listing on Google so your customers don't waste time traveling to the store to find out. And an apology for inconvenience might be nice too.

Love this store. Woman running the photo department needs 5 stars alone. And everyone else was great. Store very stocked and clean. Prices are normal.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I now as of typing this am sitting here with a violent double ear infection, I didn’t know this location was closed on the weekends… needless to say I will now be switching my pharmacy to CVS in Jeff. I worked here back when it was Rite Aid and have been getting prescriptions filled here for 15 plus years. I am now stuck to endure this pain in my ear until Monday morning… which will set me off work for 2 days.If they want to close on the weekends, fine but update it somewhere so people like myself don’t drive all the way out there and they not be open. The lady at the pharmacy told me they were closed when I pulled up to the window and they couldn’t transfer my prescriptions because they were closed. If they’re closed… then why have someone back there?I don’t usually leave bad reviews but this has to stop… I work for a dr office and if I treated patients like I was treated, I’d be out of a job. Do better Walgreens… at the end of the day, your patients deserve better!

Can't figure out how to bill a flu vaccine and say they'll have to call. I say ok no problem and then they say well we don't have time to do that, if you want to leave your info or come back another time we can see if we can do that. No thanks, I'll just go somewhere else from now on.

If I could rate less than one star I would! I don't know if it's their software or their employees but I have never been able to get prescriptions filled without an issue. Today the prescription was sent twice and called in once and it still wasn't ready over an hour later. I had even called to let them know I was on my way because I had been told by their staff that they dont actually start working on electronically submitted prescriptions until the customer actually arrives. Even though I had already waited and been through the drive thru 3 times over the hour, the man in the pharmacy didnt seem to care.I definitely won't be back to this location. All these people are doing is costing their store business.

The entire store plus pharmacy have been great for me. They have had employee shortages like everyone, so I have done some extra advance planning for example 90 day fills. Always nice and helpful!

This is my first review ever leaving and I feel very strongly about it. I never like to do this but I feel really upset about my experience today. I have went to this pharmacy for a long time. I wanted to stay here due to the customer service being really good and for convenience until today. I experienced the worse customer service EVER. Phil in the pharmacy was so rude to me when I was asking for my children's medications to have an automatic refill. First he needed me to specifically tell him all of the medications they were taking and that needed the automatic refills. Fine whatever I can do that. THEN while telling him what medications needed the automatic refill his tone and comments were so rude. Phil because of you I have decided to switch over to a pharmacy that is respectful to their customers. I think you should consider switching to another job. Using the excuse of your busy with 120 orders to be rude to me is unacceptable. You wont have 120 orders to keep filling for long with that customer service.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This is the worst pharmacy. EVER Customer service is horrible and moves at a snails pace. It was fine when it was RiteAid. Ever since Walgreens took over, it's terrible. You shouldn't have to wait 30-40 min to pick up a script that was filled yesterday. Especially in the drive thru, that's all supposed to be convenient?!? Ridiculous!

This place is a joke ever since Walgreens took over Rite Aid, I have had nothing but problems with this place. As of today this is my 4th visit to pick up my prescriptions within this past week. The pharmacy is always closed. The hours are 9 - 6 and a lunch break 1:30 - 2:00. Don't even try to call, after on being on hold for over a half hour you get disconnected. My next prescriptions will not be filled here ever.

The worse pharmacy in southern Indiana. First of all the pharmacy is only open during banker hours 9a-6p ( they are closed for an hour lunch break). People who work a regular job can’t get there in time to get their medications. My son had an ear infection - antibiotics were sent at noon on a Friday. I got to the pharmacy at 5:15 pm (left work early to get the medicine). The line to the drive thru was literally wrapped around the building to the front door. I went inside to read a sign that said no pharmacist on duty to fill the antibiotic for my sick child. I tried to transfer the antibiotic to the other Walgreens, couldn’t transfer the prescription because it’s sitting in the system at sellersburg Walgreens which makes no sense! It’s the weekend and had to find another doctor to send in a script to CVS. Initially CVS wouldn’t fill the script because Walgreens evidently filed it with my insurance who said it was too early for a refill!!! Thank goodness the pharmacist at CVS was so helpful - she gave me a coupon so the script was only $10.75. I am transferring all of my medications to CVS. This isn’t the only incident with this particular Walgreens. One of their technicians didn’t want to accept my sons acetaminophen or Ibuprofen prescriptions written by a physician telling me to buy it over the counter. I explained to her my insurance covers the costs so it’s essentially free (my son had a tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy & 4th set of ear tubes). The technician the. Stated it won’t be ready today. I explained to her I needed it because my son had surgery. She literally walked out to the shelf and pulled the Tylenol off the shelf. I was charged the full price instead of filing with my insurance company - the technician claimed the pharmacy was out of acetaminophen. Their attitude sucks at this location! I can’t believe they remain in business. Pathetic excuse for a pharmacy!!!

This place is the absolute worst ran business I have ever encountered. I tried to refill my meds before going out of town with no luck they were closed & when they opened the next day they said it would be the following day. Refilled while out of town. Fast-forward a week trying to refill my other prescriptions 2days I sat in line for 45mins. 1st day was told at 545pm when they close at 6 that I would have to come back tomorrow. Not we will be stopping the line behind those of you that have been waiting & were in line for 45mIns. 2nd day I have been sitting here again for 45mins & line is not even moving. This will be my last visit to Walgreens in Sellersburg.

The absolute worst pharmacy I have ever been to. They hung up and me without even saying hello after I had waited on hold for 30 minutes. They change their closing time very frequently and do not update it anywhere. They do not have prescriptions ready in any kind of timely fashion. Don't even waste your time going here.

Prescriptions take forever to fill and the hours are NOT convenient. There was even a time they were closed and I was told it was due to staffing for several days and in order to fill at a different location one would have had to get a new prescription. I’m in healthcare and if My service to my patients was as bad as the service this pharmacy provides I would be out of a job. When you do complain about the length of time (4 hours to fill a prescription) you get excuses about being short staffed.

I tend to agree with both sides of people in the reviews here. The people working the front counters and general store are always really nice and pleasant. Store has what you need for a general/drugstore. The pharmacy on the other hand feels like you walked in to another dimension. I have had multiple experiences where it felt like you were a burden for picking up your medicine. Consistently seems understaffed and it tends to be pretty slow.

They now have the pharmacy closed on the weekend which is an inconvenience even if you don't get prescriptions filled there if you need to ask staff they wouldn't be able to give you a good and safe answer

It's impossible to get anyone to answer the phone, the line in drive through is ridiculous. You can't go inside for the pharmacy anymore. My mother is 83 and it's impossible to get help with her prescriptions. We decided to switch to CVS and have not had to deal with this anymore.

This used to be a great pharmacy to deal with when it was Rite Aid. Since Walgreens took over, you never know when the pharmacy will be open. I'm moving all of my prescriptions somewhere else so I don't have to guess off I'll be able to get my medication.

Today I took my son to my local Walgreens for a flu shot after registering him online. The online registration immediately asks for an age, and it sets the minimum age at 7 years old. My son is 11 years old.Yet, after 1) registering him, 2) receiving several reminders, 3) filling out and printing forms they indicated that I needed to bring to the appointment, 4) showing up and waiting in line at the pharmacy, 5) giving the cashier his birthdate and insurance card, I was then told that Walgreens does not give flu shots to kids under 13 years of age.Then why does the online registration system set the minimum age at 7 years old??? A complete waste of time!

I go in this store almost every day and I just love miss Rita that is in there in the evenings . She's always so sweet and very helpful. She always knows where everything is. But I am giving 3 stars today because I walked in there to get some snacks like I usually do on my break and the little African American that's usually all over the place ( She acts like she's on something) Was slamming stuff around behind the counter and telling all the customers that she had been accused of stealing and I was just shocked at the way she was acting because it was very improfessional. Something needs to be done about this girl because she made very uncomfortable . I believe her name is Melissa.

The worst Pharmacy in the world. First of all they lost my insurance card ( the girl wanted to keep it, I should have known better than to leave without it). When I called to get the insurance card for 4 days they told me they couldn't find it. On the 5th day I called the manager (she was out). She found the card right away. Then after all of that, they didn't even run my insurance correctly and told me I would have to pay full price for my child's prescription. Went down to Walgreens with the same prescription in the same insurance card and bada bing bada bang bada boom what do you know $200 cheaper because they were in my insurance. Needless to say I'm going to be going to Walgreens down the street.On the brighter side they have a lot of nice things in their store. And the ladies up front are very nice. Perhaps they need to train the pharmacy technicians better.

TERRIBLE customer service at the pharmacy. No one during posted hours on the weekends, and even when they are open they close the gate and force people to wait in the ridiculously long drive thru line. What are people that don't have an hour to wait around supposed to do. DO BETTER WALGREENS.

Over 17 cars in the drive up. Pharmacy lobby inside is now closed? Just wait, I'll sit here for 45 minutes and then they will tell me the meds aren't here. Worst Walgreens ever.
