We love JayC. Super convenient location, great prices. You can use your Kroger card for additional discounts. Side note- Their peanut butter cookies are delicious.

Always have everything I want, always fresh, and I like that they have shipping and delivery available too. Highly recommend this store.

We stopped in for a few items that we forgot for a pool party. The store was clean, full stocked, and we were in out in no time!

I have always considered Jay C chicken as some of the best but today the fried chicken was cooked in old grease and the grilled chicken was dry.

Fantastic customer service, only complaint I have is their produce isn't the best. Otherwise they are fantastic to shop with.

The store hasn't been the same for months and none of the long time workers appear happy anymore. I think it must be Mgr kevin whom informed me today that he isn't looking out for anyone....actual words from his mouth. I had asked him to call the police due to a dog being in a closed hot vehicle. Great guy...

An alright store, staff are usually polite and try to be helpful as they can. The shelves are mostly stocked and the deals and specials each week are all quite good. The biggest complaint is the restrooms need work...I have never purchased hot deli, but the cold deli is always well stocked and fresh

Good service from customer service desk. Usually not too long a wait at checkout. Good food and cheap at the deli and nice workers overall. Still maintaining that " small store" atmosphere but it is becoming more crowded and will not be like that much longer. Downside is some people still want to drive like selfish idiots through the small crowded parking lot and housing apartments going up behind the store won't help with the crowding . That old saying, " don't know what you had till it's gone" yea, once again.

Alot of shelves not fully stocked. They need a expansion of the store to better serve the community they are in. Parking lot is terrible as far as getting in and out of the store area. Store is to small and very outdated. They are always busy. It is hard to get down some aisles. They are way to narrow. You know they are making great profits, but not putting back into this store.

Everyone that works in this store should be embarrassed by the condition of the men's restroom. Absolutely disgusting

Started coming here more often once the Fuel Center was added, to get the fuel points with these fuel prices going through the roof. The store is clean and the staff is very nice. The store does look somewhat dated inside, but that is also what I like about it. They dont always have everything we need and we have to go to a different store, but they also have some things other stores don't have. They do have a bathroom, but it is not marked the greatest. The hot deli has great food that is made fresh, just make sure to go when they are open. And make sure to download the app so you can clip digital coupons for more savings!

I've always had good experiences at this store, and the employees are very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, tonight the bottled water shelf was almost empty (again) and I was very suprised to see that there was absolutely no freshly-made fried and roasted chicken, which is very popular with local customers. I know that they are short employees, a common problem this summer, but I worry about the future of our local store.

My husband and I were on our way home to Michigan from attending my father-in-laws funeral in Alabama and wanted a light lunch. We decided to check out Jay Cs deli. What a delight! We both got way more than we could eat for $5 each. Plus we were waited on by the sweetest older woman. Very delicious food at a low price with exceptional customer service to boot!

I go here every week to pick up 12 packs for when my group plays D&D on Fridays. Staff is always incredibly nice and they have decent prices. Shelves are mostly stocked by the time I go in on Fridays. Most trouble I've run into is them not having what I need when I go which is very seldom.

This grocery store has by far, the best fresh produce. The fried chicken and sides from the hot deli are phenomenal. The customer service is excellent, and nothing is ever out of stock. I live a half hour from this store, but it is absolutely worth the drive. Also, Kroger cards and coupons are welcomed.

So done going to this store. It use to be a friendly local place but now it is a disaster. Not only did they move everything around and no one can find anything, but they have discontinued several of my favorite brands. If you don't get there at the crack of dawn, they box up the donuts by the dozen, but who cares, since they changed the recipe. The chicken and other prepared foods have gone way down hill. They even rearranged the milk and I came home with the wrong type today. They changed to a name brand fruit company instead of preparing their own and it is tasteless and way overpriced. They have a perfect location, in a booming area, and it is a shame someone doesn't have business sense. They could have at least remodeled when they moved everything, not to mention build next door in the empty lot. The place still looks like 1986. Today was my last visit after years of patronage. I will drive the extra few miles and get a better selection, where items are on the shelf where it makes common sense.

A descent store to shop inside. I was told by a friend that this store is part of Kroger. Smaller store feel. Pricing comparable to other grocery stores. Seems like an older store. Not a big variety. Fruit looks good. This is a Busy store but check out goes quicker than expected.

My fiancee picked up some ribs this afternoon. She said a nice young man was outside manning the grill. He did a great job, beautiful fall off the bone smoked ribs.

Good local grocery store. Needs to be remodeled to be consistent with other Jay C stores and Kroger stores. Much smaller than most of the other stores which is strange considering that this location is usually very busy.On subsequent visit, this store should be avoided. Under staffed, unfriendly personnel, store was dirty and sparsely stocked. Store was out of everything on sale in their flyer and would not offer rainchecks.

Not a good store. I've gotten sick from their produce twice. Definitely will not be returning ever for anything on this earth. Kroger only from now on. Period.

I've always liked Jay C stores and they had the best Donuts! We would get them every Sunday morning before church! LOVED their donuts! And then here comes Kroger buying all Jay C stores! Kroger comes in and changes everything I liked about Jay C stores! And back to them donuts, Kroger replaces them with something Kroger calls donuts, and those things are so gross! The worst donuts i have ever ate! And I have had my share from many places all over the states! They get rid of something that was baked fresh every morning that all the locals loved! I can't name one person that did not love Jay C Donuts! Kroger why you not selling any of your donuts? Because people don't want to buy your bricks! So Adrienne and Co. Donuts and Desserts opened so the locals could have good fresh donuts again. And they are now open 24 hours! So Cool! Thanks Adrienne and Co. 😊P.S. They don't sell Bricks!

I pretty much always stop by this store when I visit my dad in Sellersburg. I like how the interior hasn't changed since I was a child. Memories of weekly grocery shopping has a lot to do with my visits here. It's a small store compared to the monstrosities it competes with, but they have everything I need, every time. I love that I can use my Kroger card, too. Very friendly and personable staff.

Excellent small town grocery. Incredibly personable staff. Excellent store ground hamburger(if you can get it before it's gone).Sierra is the most awesome cashier ever. Super nerdy, impossibly adorable.

People that decorate cakes need more practice. Plus all of the cookie cakes were birthday or for girls.

Better prices. I have been going to this JayC for over 10 yrs. Other than once in awhile having to wait at service desk for a few minutes I have no complaints. People are & always have been very nice & helpful. I can't think of any time anyone was ever rude , which actually anywhere you go there will be a bad apple in the bunch. People giving bad reviews on this store regarding one visit/incident. This store is fine

I have been shopping this store for years and tonight they really upset me. There were 6 teenagers crowded around the door, I don't even think they were all employees. None of them were paying a bit of attention to the customers they too busy laughing at the kid in the middle that was loudly repeating over and over "Jesus is only mediocre". That is wrong for so many reasons, I will stick with just one, those kids should have been working not socializing. I won't be back here.

I went in today around 1230P. The gentleman who was taking care of the carts was putting extra attention and detail into cleaning the handle areas while I was walking in. The staff was actively cleaning and masked up. Y’all are doing a great job at trying to keep up with this virus spread. Thank you.

Parking is a pain and lot needs repaved. Store is small but convenient as far as location. If you manage to not get run over in the parking lot or break your ankle you might get lucky and find what your looking for but I wouldn't do my weekly shopping here if I didn't have to.
