I always looked forward to stopping in to see what's new. Time and time again, I have found some really great deals there. The store is clean, well organized and everyone there is pretty helpful when needed.But because of a peculiar and cumbersome return policy, especially on clothing, (Specifically a pair of dress pants and a winter coat) I've decided to stop shopping there. It's clearly a policy heavily favoring the store and not the loyal customer and is absolutely born out of getting "ripped off" by unsavory characters. But unfortunately, it's a return policy which cures a cold with cancer as they say, and punishes the honest customer. There are so many other places to shop that have a more reasonable return policy which won't leave you feeling like your on a hidden camera show, gauging your reaction for laughs when confronted with something ridiculous.LCO, I will miss you......

I go to this store often. BE AWARE if you’re purchasing large items for pick up that they rush you through the process, “sign here sign here”. Their dock is only “unlocked” until 4:30pm, despite their hours. It also changes with holidays. You’ll only have 7 days to pick up the item. HIRE YOUR OWN COMPANY. I called the one they recommended 3 times without a response. I had 2 movers ready to pick up my item & they would not accommodate (“ the dock is locked”). The manager I spoke to on the phone insisted we would have been told that at purchase but both my boyfriend and I had no recollection. It was, however, on the sheet that I was rushed through. They were talking to us while handing us documents and calling on their walkies so I’m sure anything is possible. Now, I don’t understand why a simple unlock isn’t possible for hired movers to do everything, but that’s the policy. Something to note : most people work until 4:30 or past that…. So having a dock for pick up close at that time doesn’t make much sense to customers. The store is usually well maintained & good stock. However, check prices online because you’re not always getting a deal.

The staff is very helpful and the cashier was super friendly. The variety of items at this location is great, but they are not a discount store, most items here are a quite overpriced... I won't shop here again simply because of the prices.

Overall, I really like this store. Note, however, that not all of their items are at bargain basement prices. But I find their clothes to be good quality at fair prices, much of their food is reasonably priced, pet food prices are good, and if I am ever in the market for new appliances, I will certainly give this store a serious look. Please also note their stock is constantly changing, so if it is there today it might not be there the following week. It is worth a visit.

I recently purchased items from LCO and I couldn’t be happier with my shopping experience. Their store was very well organized making it easy to find the perfect item. The checkout process was smooth, and the staff was extremely friendly. I’m thrilled with the quality items bought , and will definitely shop at LCO again in the future. Highly recommended!

If you have a Costco membership their deals are not that great. sometimes they charge exactly what Costco charges or maybe 50 cents less. In fact I paid more for peanuts at overstock then when I found them at costco after I got the membership. I feel that the deals are less than they used to be. when I see a deal I load my cart. Not So Much Anymore. open bags of candy $2 less than what Meijer sells them for brand new. Baileys knows how to price but they are so far in North Judson. Disappointed with their lack of load your cart pricing. I'm a Slickdeals bargain shopper and I find myself walking in and walking out of overstock without buying anything quite often. They also one time sold me an electronic toy truck that was no return final sale ans it broke. Wasted the money on the truck purchase.

I just moved to Schererville Indiana and purchased a 9x13 rug. I made the mistake of NOT rolling out the rug in the store.....wouldn't think I'd have to. I got it home to find a hole in the middle of the rug. I called the store to let them know and that I did NOT have my receipt. They proceeded to tell me I'd have to pay a restock fee, I told them the rug could NOT be resold. I took the rug to the store for them to see the hole and all they said was they couldn't/wouldn't do anything for me without a receipt. I gave them the date I purchased the rug and still nothing. At that point they could of at least offered a store credit.....needless to say I'm still looking for a rug.

Depends on what you consider a deal at this place. Small nick nacks might be considered a bargain here but before you purchase furniture or an appliance here shop around first. I've seen things here that are actually cheaper elsewhere, not to mention newer.

Great News! They've expanded into the former education store building. Now they have space for even more deals! Now they hold a lot more home stuff like furnishings and great decor!This place is even more awesome with even more awesome stuff at awesome prices!Need to buy a gift for someone I bet you'll find something nice if you have the time to browse the aisles. I'll warn you though, you may end up buying all kinds of goodies for yourself too!This is an excellent place for a great quality winter coat at a fraction of the original retail price.They have a good variety of household stuff and furnishings, too!Last winter i scored an amazing deal on a new woman's winter coat for 16 bucks for myself and 2 EXCELLENT Land's End heavywt. coats for kids for $36 a piece!!!My best haul though is when i got 5 outdoor led garage lantern lights for about 130.00!!!!I highly recommend this place to all as I'm certain you'll find some great finds too.

This is very important to me in an age where most places you go the workers tend to be hateful and grumpy and seem to hate their job. That is not the case at Last Chance Overstock. Every time I come in the store from out of town the store is very clean and always has new items. The prices are pretty compatible with other stores. I have found items to be 1/2 the price of other big stores. The employees and staff are always very helpful and friendly. If you are ever in the market for furniture I would check them out before you go anywhere else. I would definitely recommend you stop in to see.

I went in last week to find some workout clothing. I found the best deals ranging from $5.99-$11.99 for good quality brand name leggings as well as Lucky brand shirts for a steal at around $9.99. One of the clerks was very courteous and helpful in finding what I needed and checkout was pleasant as well. This is very important to me in an age where most places you go the workers tend to be hateful and grumpy and seem to hate their job. That is not the case at Last Chance Overstock. I”ll elaborate on the rating. Prior to the renovation to the store, I used to find lots of items and now upon visiting there’s nothing in the store which interest me. The store has an abundance supply of electronics which wasn’t the case prior to the renovation. The store has reduce supply of furniture. Before the renovation, I could always find items for my house. I don’t know what happened since the renovation but household items such as furniture, chairs, tables etc is not in abundance. I hope that changes in the near future.I would rate two stars instead of the one previously issued. The store is well organized but doesn’t have the variety in furniture like it used to

Last Chance Overstock in Schererville, Indiana offers a very unique shopping experience to the consumer. Quality, name brand products, offered at discounted prices, arrive on a daily basis. The Clearance room is full of goods at 50% off retail prices. Weekly sales highlight new merchandise. Offerings include Furniture, Appliances, bedding , linens, clothing, food, office items, hair and skin care products and much, much more! You just never know what you will find! But you will walk out of that store with a smile!

A good spot to shop... I'm an elementary school teacher and I often find bulk snacks that are being sold at a discount which is perfect for when I have classroom parties or celebrations. I've also found home goods and clothing items here that are simply marked down because they're being removed from the store that they originated from. There are a lot of items here that probably won't interest you and there are a lot of items that are more expensive than you probably want to pay... However you do find treasures here occasionally and it's worth a look if they've restocked recently.

Bought a comforter here that WAS NOT final sale. Brought it home and it was damaged brought it back less than 24 hours later and was denied a return because they couldn’t confirm original condition.The comforter was bought and returned in less then 24 hours. The person processing the return had me waiting for 30 minutes while they took the item in the back to inspect it told me they couldn’t confirm what it’s original condition. The packaging was taped along the zipper which leads me to the believe the item was damaged while it was being put back in its packaging. This was my first an only purchase from this store and with the lack of customer service and quality items you can under why I wound refuse to ever purchase from this store again. If you can’t confirm what it’s “original” condition was how can you refuse a return when damaged goods were sold to a customer unknowingly. Had this situation gone differently I may have exchanged or purchased another comforter but as you can see this place cares only about lining it’s pockets with money. Please go ahead and keep my hard earned $67 dollars. My bank already reimbursed me for your negligence.

I like to go into a store and find new bargains every time! Shopping at Last Chance Overstock makes me feel like I found a good deal. Well stocked in a wide range, clean, nice helpful folks, what's not to like! It's a bit out of my way, but worth the trip!!
