I like Dollar General stores but this was by far the nastiest store i have ever been in of any company. Dollar General should take a look at the management here. At 9 a.m. a store shouldnt look like this.

We just needed a loaf of bread, got there at 8:15 and they already had the doors locked and all the lights on, definitely won’t be going there again

Being such a high traffic store, I think they do a great job really. I do think the company should better staff this location. Doing so would take care of all the carts of stock waiting to be put out, but your cashier is too busy cashing out everyone else to do so, and you can't get through the aisles in the mean time.

The staff was mostly friendly and helpful. One of the cashiers did have an issue not knowing how to accept a gift card for payment which was mildly stressful for the child who was trying to pay and did cause a short delay. The store was also out of certain items which was also a little bit inconvenient. Overall, the store had most of what we needed and we would probably return again if in the area.

Had convenient prices as most dollar general stores do, however, did not appreciate the attitude that the cashier gave me when I requested the bathroom key to change my daughter's diaper. After her rude comments, I got in there and there wasn't even a changing table which resulted in having to try and change my daughter's diaper in my car and having her pee all over my front seat. The dark haired woman that was working was polite but the blonde woman was unnecessarily rude.

I dont care for Dollar general in Santa Claus. Because of Holiday world it is a tourist town and the prices reflect that. As long as your aware of that its fine but if your an unsuspecting shopper looking for a reasonable Dollar Store experience and prices you will not get that here. The staff is nice though.

Larger Dollar General store than the one closer to home. Offers a little better variety on most things and carries a slightly different assortment on some items like cleaning products and clothing. It's in a tourist town so they carry a few extra things to accommodate travelers and campers. A good place to stop if you just need a few items or even to grocery shop.

Worker in the store was nice, but cashier was rude. I just needed snacks before heading to Holiday World. I had quite a few, so I picked up some items I had digital coupons for to make a $25 purchase and use my digital $5 off $25. MOST of my items were snacks that I didn't have coupons for. She acted like I had completely interrupted her day by being an extreme couponer clearing their shelves instead of using a discount corporate offers customers. Also, I had received a DG text that there was a 50-70% additional discount on clearance. They had no signs posted. Isles were jammed with product to stock, but no one was stocking... just pulling more cars out. Why not pull a cart out, stock it, get another car, stock it, eyc... instead of jamming isles so customers can't shop???

Good place to go when you need a few items and don't want to pay too much. Very close, right up the street, to Holiday World and Lake Rudolph, they have things you might need for camping and items needed to complete your day at Holiday World. Will go back again.

If you need anything for Holiday World this is the place to be! They have swimwear, flip-flops, swim shoes, and everything else a regular Dollar General has. And as a bonus the employees are extremely friendly and helpful!

I needed some last minute dog food and treats and I was in Santa Claus anyway so I went there. They have alot to choose from. They have clothes, to sodas to toiletries. Good store, clean and the people are friendly.

This is probably the nicest Dollar General I've ever been in. It was larger than most I've been in & very well organized (I just ran in for a few basics that we forgot for our vacation). The girl at the check out was very friendly.

Newly remodeled store. Store has a great selection of frozen and refrigerated items including milk, eggs, butter, lunch meats, cheese, frozen meats, frozen dinners, soft drinks, chips, canned food items as well as the consumer items that normal Dollar General stores sell.

Crowded aisles and general disarray made it hard to find items we needed and there was no open place to line up to check out. Fortunately, the cashier was efficient and friendly.

This particular DG is clean, but always cluttered. There are usually product carts blocking the aisles. Still, they probably have what you need and for a lower price than Holiday Foods.

The complaint that I have is their aisles are to full of "stuff"!!! Way to much inventory sitting around cluttering up the store!!! Hard to use a cart in some areas!!!

Good place to stop by if you are camping at Lake Rudolph. They have a lot of stuff cheaper than you will find at the camp shops.

Depends on where you go St Joe's all right diamond and Stringtown I think run by drug addicts the shelves are hardly stocked and the staff that works there or rude as hell

One of the cleaner DG. Just wish they would take down that awful Christmas wreath. Sould have asked one of the roofers to do it, just had their roof replaced.
